I have taken my Toyota Prius to Bob's Complete Auto Service since moving to Prescott 4 years ago. His place was recommended by my daughter and son-in-law who live in Chino. Their service is excellent as is those that provide it. I have even had emergencies that required immediate care and they did the job. read more

I've been going to bob's a few years first with my honda and then with my Nissan. I have a 1986 pickup truck that I've had ever since it was new. It has low mileage and very good condition. They told me they won't work on it. Because it's too old. I've spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on that truck over the year. I don't like the fact that bob's cherry picks their work. read more

I have no words but 10 stars! I have never been treated so kindly, the customer service was better than a 5 star resort. My truck, Ford F150, has been having issues and I have not been able to take care of it in a one stop shop until I found Bob's Complete Auto Repair in Chino Valley. Thank you Bob and the ladies that went above and beyond. read more

I have been going to BOB's C.A.R for service on both of our vehicles. I would rate them 10 Stars. They are honest, pleasant to work with and have a team of mechanics you can trust. I recently called because our car battery died, and I was having someone come to jump it. When I called Cristiana was so very accommodating and fit me into their schedule. . They had the new battery installed and ready to go in an hour. This team of professionals are the best! I highly recommend them for your car's needs. read more

Brought my car with a check engine light. Waited over 4 hours while they changed an o2 sensor and sprayed a lot of cleaning products. Hinted I may need a new catalytic converter. $600+ dollars later, check engine light is on and I am offered no credit towards further service. I took it to Kia who told me my cat converter is in perfect condition and functioning properly. No. I will not be returning. Bob's slogan is "we take care of neighbors". Right. That's why I have security cameras. read more

Bobs has been great to work with and is the only place I bring my truck for service and repairs.

I had been ignoring the "health" of my truck for a long time due to a lousy budget. Once I became more solvent, I asked Bob's CAR to do anything and everything to bring my truck back up to snuff. Not everything I asked them to do was done, however, because "we could see it wasn't necessary". My truck takes care of me and I depend on Bob's CAR to take care of my truck. read more

I had an Amazing experience with Bob's C.A.R. Place!! I got a flat tire ( first time in my life) on the road from Prescott to Laughlin ( rental car) and by my luck Bob's place was next to the gas station. I must say special Thank you to David and his lovely wife Jeniffer, he was able to fix my tire in minutes and I made it safely back home. Best Auto repair shop! They make sure the job is done good and they treat you right. Friendly service : )

We've been having our vehicles serviced at Bob's CAR for about 4 years. Bob's mechanics are certified and very informative concerning maintenance for long-term reliability of our car & trucks. I have found them to be honest craftsmen. If friends ask me for a good car repair place, I send them to see Bob. Bob's CAR has great business practices, as I was in Machine Tool maintenance and repair. They earn your trust. read more

Bob's is the best! They take care of all of our vehicles. All of our cars and trucks are old, like us. Lots of miles. They are very honest and only fix what's broken. They do good work. Great people, great work! read more

Finding an auto repair shop is a challenging thing. We started going to Bob's years ago when we lived in Chino. It was by far the best place to go in the area. About five years ago we moved away from Chino. We now split our time between. Scottsdale and Prescott. We still take our cars to Bob's for everything. When you find a shop this good, driving the extra miles to continue going there is completely worth it! They are fast, fair, and caring people. read more

Long winded post: I am from phx and was in chino valley for work and my car broke down. I got towed to Bob's by AAA and it turned out that my car was being recalled by the dealership and I needed to get it serviced in phx for it to be covered. However, I couldnt get towed for another 48hrs. Bob was gracious enough to keep my car at his shop even though he did not get to work on it. He assured me it would be safe and was so kind to me. I think it says as lot about his character and how he will work with you and your vehicles. I wish he was down in phx; I would always want to take my cars to him. read more

I live in the Chino Valley - Paulden area here in Arizona and I drive truck mostly over the road or have for the past 25+ years. I've been looking for a mechanic or shop that can do my personal repairs on my vehicles and have been looking for quite some time. It seems like every time I've needed work on my vehicles it has always cost me over $1000.00. And I'm not talking big major repairs. This time I got lucky, I had a fuel line on a toyota pickup that rubbed thru on the frame and was pumping fuel all over the place - and I happen to find Bob's Complete Auto Repair online so I had the tow service take my truck there. Everyone there was on point, knew what they were doing, very professional, and easy to deal with. I use this vehicle to go back and forth to Phoenix so I don't have to park my new pickup in the heat while I'm on the road. They did a great job with the repair, it was done by the next day, and the price was phenomenal. I was starting to think I wasn't going to find a company that was fair and reasonable but this company went way above that mark - I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. You can't beat this place!! read more

Bobs Car Care has taken excellent care of my Jeep and an unusually fair price for many years. Bob is available, knowledgeable and kind - his staff is also so knowledgeable that it is difficult to imagine ever needing Bob to get an issue resolved. I phoned yesterday and informed Bob that I failed to make an appointment for an AC repair for my son in law who had traveled from Tucson. My son in law was facing driving to Tucson that afternoon without the cool air needed for such a journey - esp in the heat of the summer. Bob answered the phone and arranged for the repair to happen immediately. Thank you Bob. Crisis averted. Family dinners are still on. Kathryn read more

I needed the power steering line replaced on my 2004 Honda Accord. Originally I was planning on doing it myself. However due to the holidays I didn't have the time and wanted the car back in operating order. Bob used the part I had already purchased and completed the work quickly. This shop was very professional and friendly. I recommend using this shop for your car repairs. read more

Great service and they really cared about the customer and tried to get the van back on the road as best as they could . And will definitely be going back read more

Service writer was rude has terrible body language gives the vibe he doesn't want to do his job. seemed quite lazy doesn't make eye contact when talking would rather stare at the computer screen and only takes in 1/3 of what is being said about my vehicle.no real flow.seemed that no care is taken to ensure a smooth transition of info to the techs.Over heard a conversation between the front end and techs it seemed the techs couldn't quite understand what the service writer was trying to put down on paper..noticed a substantial amount of cars out side and only two mechanics. so quality of work performed will be sloppy from having to rush and push threw their work..i have read other reviews for this shop and i believe they are paid actors to boost this shops reputation. Ive been around the country and seen better with a lower reputation. would not recommend this shop read more

I have used Bob's for several years and find them to be honest, quick. and extremely easy to deal with on any repair.

UPDATE 3-28-19 - Bob recently contacted me and refunded the amount for the service he performed on my car. He was willing to refund the amount of his service and the amount I spent at the dealer but I requested he just refund the amount of his service. I feel this is an upstanding way of doing business and will still use and recommend him read more

The best auto shop i've ever encountered. Reliable, trustworthy & honest.

Ended up in Chino Valley due to the death of my father in law. While spending a very busy and emotional week my axle seal went out in my 2001 F 250 worse yet the clock was ticking to drive back some 800 miles back to our home in California. Bobs had it fixed in a day meanwhile while driving my brother in laws f 250 the water pump went out. They were also able to fix that by the end of the day. Totally awesome, very professional and no B.S. I am a heavy duty diesel mechanic by trade and believe me when I tell you this place deserves six stars! read more

Hello there I have had the pleasure of dealing with Bob the owner 2 times so far and by please I am being very sarcastic. I have brought my vehicle to bobs a few times and have always dealt with Travis who is very nice and kind the last few times I have dealt with Bob .. he informed me that I needed a new battery for my car and quoted me a price .. when I went to pay that price went up about 40 bucks and when I said something to him he said I misunderstood him .. I then said I know what I heard. Then in that same visit his mechanic and himself said I needed new rear struts and quoted me $1300 in work that had to be done. I about had a heart attack and when Bob was explained struts to me I felt his additude to me was that Im a idiot and he thought I didnt know what struts were so I asked a question and he then said excuse me Im not finish talking.. well excuse me... then I have family members that know cars so I brought my car to a very trustworthy mechanic my family has dealt with for years and he informed me that there is nothing wrong with my struts and then he was mad because he sees car shops take advantage of young women.. now if I didnt bring it to someone else and just took Bobs word for if they would of be scaming me out of $1300 dollars. Then I had to make an appointment for an oil change I am a nurse and was called into work so I had to change that appointment a few times which I appologized for and Bob then laughed and said how many times have you changed this appt.. well thats about it for me I will NEVER go back to this place .. the only thing I feel that is complete about Bobs complete auto repair is the fact Bob is completely dishonest read more

I have had my cars serviced by Bob for over 5 years. He has always given me great service and thoroughly explained any problems I may have. I am confident in his service and what he is charging me for. I know when I leave my car it is fixed! The piece of mind I have with this business is truly a gift. I am a woman alone without a man to give me advice. So, knowing I can trust them to tell me the truth and charge me fairly is of great importance to me. They are truly honest experts. read more

I'll try to not drag on. Bob can be a very angry, rude man to repeat, paying customers. My dad had used this guy before and said no complaints. This nice man, my dad, knows as much about a car as he does brain surgery. He's a very accomplished artist, that get's "art commissions" based on his personal reputation and beautiful works dating back to the early 70's. He doesn't have to look for work. He was dropped off to p/u his car. Bob was his cashier that day. He likes to know how things work. He started asking basic questions about what was done. After about the 3rd question, he said Bob turned bright red and started yelling at him with other customers waiting in the lobby. When he got home he told me what Bob said. "If I took the time to try and explain the most basic of auto repairs to idiots like you, I'd be out of business!" My dad has always be an honest person, who didn't exaggerate, rather played down confrontations. He just shuts down. He said to me, "well maybe Bob is having a busy day." And walked back to his studio. The role Bob was playing that day is called customer service. Jobs relegated to teenagers. I'm 45 and work as an Ad Consultant. My job relies heavily on people skills. Bob's little one shop operation should too! I almost drove to "meet" with Bob. I'm 6'4", 260 lbs. When I lay my hands on people, as an ex-bouncer at a biker bar for 3 years, they injured badly. I knew I'd end up in jail and get sued. So I'm asking you, please, go a few doors down to Doug's. Great work, at reasonable prices. As a true and knowledgeable ex-wrench, I can vouch for them. My Mom can go there, by herself and get the same deal I would've. They're respectful, and when it comes time to pay, they review each part replaced and why, without asking!! Bob defied all logic and raised to a yell, just to embarrass and demean my ever patient Dad and loyal to the end guy! The topper, my Dad said to me a little later, "I hope Bob doesn't yell at me next time..." I suggested Doug's after dropping in one day and asking questions like I knew nothing. We use them now exclusively with 4 cars and a truck. Doug's has been flawless so far. Please! Bob is not a stable man, as he demonstrated. I want a calm and methodical mechanic working on my cars. read more
