Own a 2005 Silverado with 166k miles. The oil gauge has flickered a few times and these oil senders are known to fail at around 150K. Dropped car off @ Brians Garage tues 2/11 and got a quote to install a new sensor. Barely got home and Brians garage called telling me there was nothing wrong with the sensor and the manager and mechanic wanted to know what made me think it needed to be replaced, like I was an idiot. Told them I own the truck and simply willing to spent money to have it replaced prior to it failing. They reluctantly went ahead and replaced it and the next morning I opened the hood to see a loose dangling wire harness in the area of the sensor and hooked it back up. Sloppy and negligent work, Went back to Brians Repair Office to notify what I had found and they weren't concerned in the least like it happens all the time and Strongly asked me to Vacate their office, No apology and said they didnt care what I posted on Social Media. This is 100% honest. I have had a couple of vehicles worked on at both the oil change shop and mechanic shop, a truck & a sedan. For the truck after replacing a parts related to the AC the horn stopped working, when I took it to the LOF shop to see why; they knocked a wiper off & then they put it back on, and a week later it fell off again. Brian Junior finally fixed it. They worked a 800+ job that they said it needed to stop shaking (it still shakes). after that was done Two parts were left off the car & a rag is still in my car, and when I talk to the owner about that, he became rude, raising his voice and then hung up on Me. I asked if they could look for my part and I would bring my car back once that was done. Do not recommend because of their hasty way of working, leaving Parts off ,and rude lack of service & charging more than the original estimate. read more

My husband and I use Brian's for our two elderly vehicles, and he keeps 'em going. We're pleased with their prompt service, and I think their pricing is in line with other mechanics in Chino. Plus, I can walk home from there. Bonus. Now I have to find out what a timing belt replacement is going to cost me. Eww. read more

We took our 2004 Ford escape for alternator replacement.was told it needed a. V axle because the joint fell apart on removal. BULLSHIT.the guy perked it apart.then was told it had to be aligned. After 2 days I got it back and the alignment still isn't right. Never again! I guess it's my fault they screwed up. read more

We took our truck into the shop for an oil change at Brian's Garage, and after the oil change, the truck started having issues;, it would stutter and stall. We had never had any problems with the truck before the oil change. So we took the truck back to. It took them four days to figure out what they thought was wrong. It also cost over $900, and the truck is still not running correctly. We will never take our vehicles back to them ever again. I feel like we were taken advantage of financially, and our truck is still not running correctly. My recommendation would be stay away from Brian's Garage. read more

I was informed that Brian's Garage was the only small engine repair shop in the area. In late March, I called them about fixing my self-propelled Lawn-Boy mower, which had a broken transmission and a minor key start issue. They asked me to bring it in on April 19th due to being busy. Three weeks later, they still hadn't looked at it. Frustrated, I told them to forget it, but I didn't have a truck and couldn't retrieve it. I called back within two days and pleaded with them to fix it. They quoted $297 but advised against the repair. Since Lawn-Boy is no longer made, I asked them to order the part and proceed. Five days later, I visited with the electric start cover and found they hadn't ordered the part. Weeks passed with no progress. After numerous calls, I finally picked up the mower on May 29th. The self-propelled feature was fixed, but they hadn't addressed the key start issue, and my charge cord was not returned. read more

I am pushing 80 years old in a month. When I live in Blende, Brian's was the place I'd go to for all my yard equipment for 'fixins'. Always a pleasure and prices fair. After moving far, far away, I didn't mind coming back for such services. Owning a ranch keeps one busy. I have not had the need for over 30 years to seek such help until now when equipment are starting to fail. I live 40 miles away and plan to head his way tomorrow for mower repairs. So I have a older vehicle and knew I would have things pop up my struts and shocks needed some bad and was referred by people to go to Brian's they had it done in a few hours then fast forward a month I started hearing a grinding before so when I called to get it in to diagnose the issues the fit me in the afternoon when they told me what it was the front desk told me maybe they can just do it while it's up in the air isn't and sure enough I was out of there within a hour I would highly recommend them and I'll continue to get my vehicle serviced with them as well. read more

This is the best mechanic shop I've ever been to. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their quotes are straightforward, and they are always willing to help with any problems you may have. I went for a standard oil change, but I wanted to ask about my cabin air system too since it was acting up. I told them what I've replaced already, and after the oil change, they took the time to show me what exactly was wrong and how the whole system works. I recommend this shop to everyone. read more

Shoddy work, Shoddy temperament Took a truck in to have transmission leak diagnosed. They said it was fixed and after driving the truck two clocks it was pouring tranny fluid. Took it back and later in the day I stopped in, Brian said it was a front pressure seal and the tranny would need to be dropped and taken to a transmission shop, I said lets do it. I then said to Brian that I felt this is what should have been done the day before. Brian looked at me and said "Get your truck out of here" If you need simple items such as oil changes done they may be okay but be careful on anything above that. read more

Great service! Fast and friendly. We dropped off our water pump that wasn't running right around 5pm. Got a call around 6pm that it was fixed and ready to pick up. Really happy with their service. They were very friendly and helpful. We will be back and will us them for even more of the things we need repaired. Very happy. Price was good as well. read more
