Definitely will be back!! My friend and I came for happy hour on a Friday evening around 6pm. Lively but not uncomfortable. We ordered two pitchers, one regular mojito and the other a bloody orange margarita. We preferred the mojito over the marg. The drinks were both strong and tasty. We also ordered the Mac n cheese, cheese burger and fries, and chicken sliders. The food was all amazing and just what you want from a happy hour spot. My friend and I came for brunch without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon during COVID, and were seated immediately at an outdoor table. The host offered to turn on the heat lamp for us, which we declined initially, but when we requested it a short while after being seated, the waitstaff happily obliged. The brunch menu is fantastic. You'll find some of your classics like pancakes and eggs benedict, but you'll also find unique items like a pork belly bowl with poached eggs, which is what my friend and I both got. The eggs were cooked to perfection (super soft and runny), the pork belly was crispy and saucy, the quinoa and veggies were nutty and delicious, and the hollandaise sauce tied everything together. Their drink menu is filled with unique craft cocktails, many of them using ingredients I'd never heard of before. I had the Angel's & Blood Hell, which was delicious. Note that during brunch, you can order from both the brunch and regular drink menus, but only the brunch food menu. My only complaint is that its location in Alphabet City hurts the outdoor dining vibes just a little bit. Think noises and smells. I'm stunned by how good the reviews are for this place. We went on a Friday evening for happy hour. The outdoor seating is awful. Dark, dirty, and dusty inside the covering. Impossible to hear anyone more than a foot away from you even at your own table. No server ever came to our table so I had to go inside and grab someone to come take our order. Even after taking our order no one ever brought cups for water so I tried to flag down another waiter who clearly saw me and then just chose to ignore me. Somehow the food came out before the 2 pitchers of margaritas we ordered. I had to flag down another waiter to ask about our drinks and again they forgot the glasses for our drinks. We were there for about an hour and the collective time that someone was at our table helping us had to be less than a minute. Service was 0/10. The food felt very mediocre and uninspired. The mussels were just okay but the bread they came with sucked. We ordered one margarita pitcher and one strawberry margarita pitcher and both were intensely bad. The pitchers were about 80% ice, 10% tequila, and 10% shitty sour mix. There was so much ice it was hard to drink out of a glass. The other thing that made it hard to drink was the low quality tequila and awful sour mix. Despite of the amount of ice that was in it the drinks were harsh and terrible. Hard to finish. I was recommended to this place by a friend and this place is fantastic for happy hour deals. It's not often that you spend under $45 for drinks, appetizer, entree, and dessert. I felt that their food either met or exceeded my expectations. The Mac and Cheese was really good for $5 but it's a bit small (understandably) and the flavors actually wildly exceeded my expectations. Then I had the short rib sandwich which I found to be very pricey, at $26 which kind of offset the whole cheap happy hour niche. But I still devoured it because it was absolutely to die for. Then I had the brownie dessert which was really good too, but the brownie could've been more warm. The place is gorgeous but the downside is that this place is SMALL, and it's always packed. So it's hard to get a seat indoors if it's really cold or rainy out. The first time we went early at about 5:30pm but the second time we tried getting a seat and it was a full house. So we couldn't get a seat indoors and that was something we wanted because it was a very rainy night. They have covered and protected outdoor dining, but I really don't trust those things in the rain. Not only that but I didn't want to make the server have to risk getting sick constantly going in and out of the rain, and the rain was bad.
