Basically my idea of a casual dinner and drinks spot without the fuss. Mussels are super generous and also delicious. The white wine sauce is flavorful and I come every time for it. As is the cacio e Pepe. Even though they advertise burgers, they low-key do amazing seafood and pasta. Also I personally love the Hugo spritz here. Takes me back to Italy--especially on a hot day. I'd recommend coming early on a hot day and bringing a big group to have spritzes, burgers and shell fish and enjoy great vibes, music and friendly service. read more

Good spot for happy hour! No liquor at the bar but perfect for a cheaper aperol spritz - the apps are all giving frozen but the service is great and it's a cheap, easy spot to go! read more

I'm really deeply disappointed in A10 today, which is a shame, because I'd been before and really liked it. I made a reservation more than 2 weeks ago for valentines brunch with my friends, so tell me why I got a call this afternoon (Feb 14th) at 12:10pm (our reservation was at 1:30) that they not only weren't serving brunch, but also weren't open until 4pm..huh?! Where was any of this advertised-it wasn't. So now, not only am I scrambling to get ready, but I'm also coordinating with friends to find a new brunch place last minute, which is especially difficult on Valentine's Day. Do better, advertise more clearly, communicate sooner than absolute last minute.. All of that to say, the person on the phone was nice and it wasn't their fault. read more

First time and last time eating here. Greeted by a nice guy and seated right away. First pick from menu "they were out of for the day", (was 5:30pm on a Monday and we were literally the only customers). Second choice was the "Some Like it Hot" chicken sandwich. We also put in 2 appetizer orders in and my wife ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad. Apps and entrees come out at same time - Strike One. My entree was not made correctly and was completely smothered in orange cheese that was not in the menu description- Strike 2. Waiter tried to gaslight me and tell me that's what I ordered and then finally returned it to the kitchen. When my sandwich came out the 2nd time it simply wasn't good. It was 2 pieces of chicken breast, one was chewy and tough. The other piece was so thin, once cooked it resembled in texture and shape a dried pig ear you would give as a treat to a dog- Strike 3. To complete our lousy dining experience, we received several mosquito bites while seated indoors during our meal. With so many different dining options in the area there is no reason to return to this place. read more

Went for happy hour and got a pitcher and a burger. The margarita pitcher is great and strong - perfect to be shared with a friend or friends. We had one between the two of us and hardly could finish it. The fries were good but the burger was lackluster. Lacked flavor. The food and service is slow but the staff is nice and polite. They seemed understaffed and the food took a long time to come out. The ambiance is very East village and the music was not too loud. I will come back! read more

A10 Kitchen in NYC's East Village is a prime spot for a evening happy hour, known for its lively atmosphere and excellent deals. Their happy hour extends until 7 PM on Saturdays, attracting a consistent crowd, often described as young and energetic, especially during peak happy hour times. The venue offers both comfortable indoor seating ( could be tight and loud though) and pleasant outdoor patio space, perfect for enjoying the vibrant East Village scene. You'll find a good selection of drinks, including pitchers of margaritas, mojitos, and sangria, making it easy to share with friends. We stopped by for a drink on Saturday Eve fr happy hour to grab a drink before dinner. We ordered margaritas to drink and fries to munch. Drinks were well balanced and fries were crispy and good quantity. Overall, a great place place to hangout with friends and soak in the east village vibe. read more

Phenomenal happy hour spot recommended from tik tok. They have cheap pitchers and drinks and the food is amazing. We got the margarita pitcher for only $21 and ordered the garlic Parmesan fries, pretzel knots and Mac and cheese. I cannot even describe how unique and great the pretzel knots were, 100% recommend. I also really liked the fries and should be a must when coming here. The Mac and cheese was decent but nothing crazy. The pitcher was also really strong so you truly get your bang for you buck here! read more

My go to spot for happy hour. It's an old reliable. Happy hour marg pitchers are the way to go and they are strong! Good for smaller groups to get better seating. Recommend to go if you aren't in a rush, most of the time it's one server running around and you may be missed but the vibes are there! The music is always fire too!!!! read more

Good pitchers but price increased notably compared to reviews and menus I've been seeing from previous years. The happy hour snacks and food were ok. The bartender was very nice and attentive even though the bar was quite busy at some point. Would love if they brought back the pitchers from previous years (mojito, margarita flavors, etc.) and decrease the price a bit As the night went, they put some louder music and nice lights, so the vibe was better. read more

Came on a Wednesday afternoon with a group of 5 and we were able to sit outside without waiting. Of course we came during happy hour which is Su-Th until 8pm and Fri-Sat until 7pm which are really good times! The beer and wine are $6, $8 margaritas, and a variety of HH food. We decided to get a beer, sauv blanc wine, margarita, and chicken wings. The beer came in a can so was disappointing it wasn't a draft but the wine was the best deal originally $14 but coming down to $6. The margarita was tasty and the buffalo wings in their homemade sauce was delicious and not overly tangy. Would come back during HH to get wine and try their other food options! read more

I know that this is known to be a more affordable place with good happy hour deals, so I'm not expecting Michelin star dishes or exceptional drinks, but the quality has gotten so much worse in the past couple years to the point where what used to be a steal is now money wasted on drinks with barely any alcohol, and cold food. They didn't serve us hard liquor for some reason (maybe because of the time of the day) but the white sangria was 90% ice and it mostly tasted like sugar water. The fries we ordered were definitely frozen before, lowest quality imaginable. Better off with McDonald's fries for a buck. The mac n' cheese took the cake by somehow managing to taste extremely burned throughout while being fully ice cold. Honestly impressive how bad it was. We sent it back and they did not charge for it, so I'll give them that. Sorry - not a good deal anymore. This is robbery at this point. read more

This place is mid asf. Service took long. Super packed. Drinks were fine but nothing stood out. There's obviously much better places in the area for food n drinks but I was with some picky eaters so I opted for a burger spot. Got the chicken sandwich and it was just wrong, outside was super crunchy but the inside felt a lil undercooked. Wings were fine. This is definitely a spot where you get a pitcher so if that's what you're there for then you will enjoy but otherwise don't come. read more

$20 for a pitcher of margs or mojitos?!? It seemed too good to be true, so my walls immediately shot up. I've learned the same lesson the hard way from so many different avenues of life that if it's too good to be true, it probably is. I went with my roommate, former USC Basketball Megastar, on a beautiful summer Saturday. I know what you're thinking, "Two dudes going to get a pitcher of mojitos?" Chill. It's 2023 and sometimes a couple silverback gorillas just want a feminine drink on a nice hot day, what's wrong with that? Okay, I will concede that every time I hear the word "mojito" that little clip of Brian Griffin from Family Guy pops in my head ahahahaha. I would quote it here but I don't want to be Yelp canceled. Anyways, the 2 silverbacks sit down and confidently order a pitcher of Mojitos. When the pitcher comes, my disappointment is immeasurable. Upon first inspection, it is a pitcher of ice with a splash of mojito. Why does god give his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers? However, the most amazing thing happened. Once we poured our first 2 drinks, there was still a solid amount of mojito left. Some sort of optical illusion, I imagine. Then, after cheersing the mojito and saying "Kanpai**" we take our first sip and are SHOCKED. These drinks are STIFF, no watered down danced-on mojitos here. On their website they say the pitchers provide about 4 drinks, but I'd say it's closer to 5, maybe 5.5 STIFF drinks. I also saw they have pretzel bites on the happy hour menu which I will absolutely try next time. I, at some point, will write a review about how I think pretzels are criminally underrated. A HAPPY HOUR SENT STRAIGHT FROM THE ALPHABET CITY GODS THEMSELVES! THANK YOU A10! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__ **Authors Note: I say "Kanpai" because it means "cheers" in Japanese. When someone inevitably asks "what does that mean?" I crack a sly smile and let them know it means cheers in Japanese and that I've been to Japan hehe haha I'm so well traveled hehe (shy monkey emoji) read more

Honestly...3 stars is a little nice because the food was really good. Very flavorful and delicious. However, we came here for happy hour and left a little disappointed. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, the Mac and cheese with mushrooms, and a burger. The Mac and cheese had no mushrooms which we paid extra for (I swear though we were told different). The pictures were definitely misleading about that. Same with the sangria--picture looked like a bigger pitcher (for and added cost) than the other drinks and it was not bigger. This was all ok though because it all tasted good. But the cherry on top was bad service. Everyone was rude and unhappy. We were so nice and felt so bad about even asking about the mushrooms. We felt so bad after asking for anything. This happy hour quickly became an uncomfortable hour. I think there are better ones in the city. Prices have also recently gone up :( read more

Solid brunch spot with big portions and fast service. We sat outside in their little street hut; inside looked pretty dark. They were out of the fried chicken sandwich, so I got a bacon egg and cheese. It also came with fries! I have been here a few times now and always get the same things. Drinks and wings. The wings are hot and crispy. Their Buffalo sauce is so good better than any other average Buffalo sauce at a bar. The drinks here never disappoint and the bartender was very nice and helpful when trying to pick out what cocktail to order. This time around I sat inside and did not realize how small the place actually is. Seems like there is as much outdoor seating as there is inside. Can't wait to go back for those wings next time I'm in the city! read more

EXCELLENT happy hour deals! It's not often you get your bill in NYC and are shocked at how LOW it is. The margarita pitchers were great. Flavor was good, too. Great balance of sour and sweet. And they were definitely strong enough, so they didn't skimp on the alcohol! We had a few bites that were great, too. Definitely loved the fries, the truffle mac was bomb, and surprisingly they had the best buffalo wings I've had in a long time! I started inside at the bar and moved outside when my friends arrived. There is a small seating area in each, but enough space for 6 of us. I also really enjoyed the bartender and the server outside was good. Definitely recommend for happy hour or even later! read more

I love this place and have come here for the past three years, but the new hire with the dirty blonde hair was very rude as soon as we sat down. We waited for her to come take our order when no one was there and had to ask her if we could place our orders. When she took our orders she had a very rude attitude and made us feel uncomfortable, and led us to leave shortly after. read more

We stopped by for impromptu happy hour and were pleased with the selections. The happy hour starts at 4pm on weekdays. The margaritas are 6 dollars a glass with an additional dollar for a specific flavor. I liked both the regular and passion fruit margaritas. My friend appreciated the blueberry but thought it tasted more like berries. We each then got the cheeseburger and fries for 12 dollars each. I appreciated how hot and crispy the fries were! The pretzel bites for 8 dollars with an additional 2 dollars for cheese hit the spot as well. The crowd is on the younger side but this is a good happy hour spot! read more

The happy hour deals at this place are some of the best I've seen in the city. The food is insane (especially the truffle fries and truffle mac). I visited A10 yesterday for happy hour. It's from 4-7 on weekdays, 5-7 on Saturdays and 5-8 on Sundays. We got there around 6:40 and there was still a line to get it but it moved relatively quickly. There is indoor and outdoor seating so as we waited in line we got to enjoy the vibes. The place looked busy and everyone looked like they were having a good time. We got seated at 7 but they allowed us to order off the happy hour menu. We got the bloody orange margarita pitcher and some fries between 2 people. Definitely would recommend! read more

i never thought the day would come that i would leave this review. a10 kitchen used to be the best spot in the area for great bar food, great priced happy hour and good vibes. picture this: $26 mojito pitchers and $10 burgers. this was the reputation that this establishment once proudly held. flash forward like 6 months- these are nowhere to be found. now it's like any other restaurant, but also randomly indian/italian fusion and no pitchers in sight. i really hope ownership takes into account the reason this place was once so great and restores it to its former glory. i am truly distraught. read more

Service and staff, specifically PD, were so wonderful. We came from Long Island and received a warm welcome. This place is kind of incredible. A10 Kitchen does something most restaurants/bars don't, give you the right amount of food/drink at the right price that's high quality. The place is often busy, so just know that going it, but it's for good reason. There's no lack of places to go in this area, so standing out is tough. A10 is great all-around, but specifically their happy hour is outstanding. The HH menu has some of the best food out there and they understand that it's not about quantity, it's about quality. You'd be hard pressed to find as juicy a burger and fries as this for the price point. Drinks are equally incredible. A10 is all about value, there's no regrets/remorse. They've got an inside and outside. On a nice day, outside is fantastic. Inside can get a bit crowded and a bit loud. Surprisingly, the staff is pretty stellar and making sure things get done quickly and done well. I've never had to wait long for someone to come around to take an order. I've never waited long for a drink or food to arrive. Really great staff that handles the pressure of being a hot spot very well. I like to come here solo and enjoy some me time, but it's also ok for small groups. If you come more than 4 deep though, you might want to call ahead. Can't wait to go back. read more

Came here to grab some happy hour drinks with my friends. This spot is pretty solid with its happy hour deal. We got a mojito pitcher and a blue pitcher, which supplied a nice buzz. I went to A10 Kitchen with some friends on Sunday for happy hour and it was the best decision we made. We came in at around 6pm and happy hour I believe is from 5-8pm. We first sat at the bar and waited for a table to open up. We had $20-$25 margarita pitchers that were amazing! When we were seated we had wings and a cheeseburger that had happy hour prices as well (I think they were around $8-12). The service was great as well- our pitchers were never empty. I highly highly recommend A10 for their strong margaritas and if you're looking for a fun bar. This place was packed during happy hour on a Wednesday and the restaurant itself is small but a good portion of the seating options are outside if you can bear the weather. The mojito pitcher was nothing fancy (similar in quality to one I can make at home) but for the price of $23 during happy hour in Manhattan it is definitely worth it.
