    Wing & Fried Rice
    Karo R.

Great Wings! As a recovering American Deli wing addict, I was reluctant to try another wing place, but now my son is going thru his hot wing addiction, so we decided to try A-Town wings and let me say this.....They did not disappoint!!! We stop in on a Saturday evening to grab some wings and head back to the crib. The restaurant had a very nice crowd dining in as well as a lot of traffic placing and picking up carry outs. We both ordered wing combos ( hot/lemon pepper) but I ordered fried rice instead of french fries. The fried rice was really good, everything was cooked to order & fresh. The wings were great. They had a very nice flavor, not to hot. The service was fast, very quick and organized. They have many combinations to choose from, an extensive menu, and the food is not overpriced like a lot of wing places I've visited. The soda fountain is located on the outside of the counter, with unlimited refills and the restaurant was very clean. Oh, did I mention the hot wings? They have Great wings-lol Check them out!!!!

I can't believe they counted this as a wing.i will never go here again. Please value your customers more by providing quality food worthy of your prices.

First time trying this wing spot. Enjoyed my lemon pepper wings. Not the best I've ever had, but they hit the spot. Had the right amount of lemon pepper. I didn't have to add extra seasoning. Yes, they're small as others have reported but I like small wings. With that said, I had two that probably should've counted as one wing so I removed one star. Will try them again. Hopefully, they're consistent.

So, we're hot wing connoisseurs in my household. There are some main factors to picking a winning wing. 1. The sauce - They're on point with this. The sauce for medium is buffalo-ey with just the right amount of flavor and heat without being salty. 2. The size - Unlike a lot of people, we hate those huge, hormone pumped wings. These wings are just the right size - small enough to "sop" up the sauce and fit the entire thing in your mouth. 3. How they're cooked - Cooked to perfection. They have some crisp to them, but they aren't battered. The chicken is tender. Now, the customer service isn't the best. The lady normally sounds like she has an attitude or is in a bad mood if you call to place your order on the phone. Ignore that. That's her personality. Food is good and MUCH cheaper than American Deli, which is hit or miss. They're not the best wings we've ever tasted, but they're some of the best that West Cobb has to offer.

Since no one has written a review the place I will do the honor. I must say that I have tried many wings spots in the area and this one is at my top. The wings were a decent size and were vert good I must say. I did wait 15 mins for my food and didn't understand what was the problem. However, once I got home my food was still HOT and realized they cook all the food to order. That right there my friend made me happy to know my food was sitting around under a heating lamp. I ordered 16 piece wings combo with friend rice and a drink for $11. The chicken was cooked made to order. I was very pleased. I will return soon.

    Smallest wings in the world.

I can't deal with this place. My brother bought some wings from here a month or 2 ago and before I bit into one wing, I sat in disbelief at how small the wings were. Okay, I give you all props for not having hormone-laden chicken, but when all it takes is one bite to complete deglove the chicken wing of all meat, we have a problem. We're talking a wing the size of your thumb, people. Everyone went to bed hungry. I cannot recommend this place.

Actual chicken meat in the boneless wings! Yum

Wow, what a great find. I'm from Texas and stumbled upon this place. I have to say, some pretty good wings, for really cheap. Fast service, but I did call before I got there. It took about ten minutes to get there, and it was ready upon arrival. I sat down to eat and got some peach "juice"...I guess you would call it. OMG, good stuff. Pretty clean area, tv to watch, friendly enough staff. I ordered the #4 on the menu, with honey garlic pepper flavor. I was pleasantly surprised, as I usually don't find good boneless wings. Usually seems like some kind of mix of meat, but this actually tasted, and look like legit chicken. I would recommend to anyone looking for some good, quick, cheap wings. I will come back while I am here, and hope they open up in Texas :P

The food is delicious and comes out quick. The wings are just a little on the small side. The best alternative to American Deli. They even stay open until 10 which is a plus Cuz its never to late for wannnnngs

Upon entering the store, I was disappointed that you can't see the food. It's not like a cafeteria with the food warming up front. Decided on the baked chicken plate that comes with rice and two sides. Added a drink - the mango lemonade. All for about $18 plus tax. They only have banana pudding for dessert. Was looking forward to peach cobbler or cakes even. Service counter was pleasant and worked quickly as more customers arrived. The restaurant is a takeout but they have a grass wall for photo opportunities on the Gram. The food: The chicken quarter was seasoned well and tasty. The rice was a bit under cooked and tough. The green beans were done with lots of garlic and sautéed. I liked it but I could see how my son didn't. The macaroni and cheese was underwhelming. There was no seasoning or flavor. It tasted smoky and a bit chalky. The mango lemonade was a hit. Overall, I'd try other plates like the salmon and the Soul Roll. Glad to have some other comfort food options in Cobb as well.

Like others have mentioned there is a serious lack of professionalism from the staff who work at this location. I'm not sure who owns this franchise, but they should really look into training the employees who work here. This review is for a DoorDash order: we ordered a meal and the store was out of corn. Instead of practicing good customer service and contacting us to let us know that they were out of corn. They just sent our meal without the corn and when we called to inquire why it was missing (but we were still charged) they did not answer the phone. We called multiple times before my husband had to drive to Wingstop and they told him that they actually ran out. He was able to get a refund, but I think it's ridiculous that they have no protocols when something like this happens. I've never had an issue with them before, but this is not how you run a successful business. I'm certain this isn't the only issue that have and would definitely not recommend.

It is located in a strip mall next to Wal-Mart. It is not in the 'hood - actually it is down from my old apartment, but the 'hood isn't too far away. It serves food from the 'hood, but by an all Asian staff. It is called Buffalo Wings, so one might expect the wings to be the specialty, but it also claims to have the best fish in town. How is this for the main food categories? Wings, Fish, Shrimp, Philly Cheese steak/chicken, gyro, burgers, chicken tenders or sandwiches. Under fish you can go with whiting, trout, catfish or tilapia. 6 flavors on the wings. Another interesting feature: your side can be french fries or fried rice...Interesting combo, right? Looking over everything, I went with the 8" Hot Spicy Philly Cheese Steak with a side of fried rice. The drink selection from the soda machine contained 8 choices. Again, interesting selections. 3 of the 8 were some variety of Fanta. Another was Hi-C and one was Mr. Pibb. That left Sprite, Diet Coke and coke to round it out. The restaurant was busy when I arrived, but then again it was small with only 7 tables. One available after I ordered, but it quickly cleared out. When the food arrived, she cashier gave me 2 packets of soy sauce and a small container of hot sauce. It appeared to be homemade as it was in an unmarked plastic container the size of those little ketchup bins at McDonalds. I can't tell you if the hot spicy Philly was really hot spicy because I decided to pour a little of hot sauce on it and the rest on the fried rice. I stirred the rice and dug in. Holy cow! That sauce lit me up - and I like hot things. I forged on with the rice, quickly finishing two beverages. I tried to eat the Philly through the tears, runny nose and perspiration. I noted that the hoagie was a little chewy. I would have preferred slightly crunchier bread, but the steak and cheese was good. I took a couple more bites and hit the sauce I put on the sandwich. Soon I couldn't feel my mouth, but tried to be brave and continue. Eventually I had to surrender, defeated by the hot sauce. The bread was the only thing I would have preferred improved. The cashier was friendly in taking the order and it was only a few minutes before they called me up to the counter. There was a lot of food - I doubt I could have finished even if I was not crying and able to feel my mouth - and all for $7.40. Not bad, Atlanta. Give this place a try!

I was having guest over and didn't have time to cook so I wanted to treat them to local BBQ. I explained this to the gentleman taking orders (turns out he was the owners brother) and he notified me of a family meal that I didn't see on the menu. The family meal is 2 half chickens and two large sides. Perfect, I added a lb of rib tips, two extra sides, and corn bread and it was perfect for my little gathering, The food was decent. The rib tips and smoked chicken had a good smoked flavor but not much season beyond that. But the house BBQ sauce was so good to dip the meats into, I like that the sauce is served on the side. Personally, I prefer well seasoned smoke meats. This was not that but the meat and sauce together was a delicious combo. Even my toddler son who likes to eat but is particular with meats ate it up and asked for more. My guest also enjoyed the meal too. Our sides were Mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, and honey cornbread. I loved the cornbread and green beans. The green beans tasted fresh and were very well seasoned and cooked down in a rich broth. The cornbread was crumby but it had such a good sweet and corny flavor.

I was really looking forward to trying the wings mostly because I head Atlanta had good wings. Well I think you need to go to specific places for those great wings because this wasn't it. First I will say the girl at the register was super sweet and helpful as I tried to figure out what I want. My food also came out quickly even though it was busy. I ordered Thai chili and dry garlic parm wings a hibachi chicken with fried rice, and a key lime pie. Sigh. I didn't like any of it sadly. The chicken wings had a good flavor, but they were DRY and therefore hard to chew. It came with fries which were ok. The hibachi fried rice was made with a chewy rice. The white meat chicken pieces again were dry. I opted for no broccoli, and the cabbage and carrots that I got in it were sweet. Like why was it sweet. I tried to add hot sauce and soy sauce to make it less sweet. But man it was still too sweet. Lastly the key lime pie was...interesting. The crust was loose and dry as if it was missing butter to bind it. The key lime was like a thick gelatin and not custardy. At the end of the day, being from California, I think it's a regional thing. Like I said the place was packed and the reviews are decent. So maybe I'm just used to a different style of cooking. I wouldn't suggest this place though.
