This was our first time in with our Maggie and the whole staff was so friendly when we brought her in for grooming. when we came back to pick her up, we were greeted again by 2 of the girls that work there and, Summer came out to introduce herself to us and said that Maggie was very good. We were trying to find a closer groomer. We currently go to one in Chandler but live in AJ. We took our dogs in, but did not leave them. The woman at the counter was friendly and super nice. For us it was the cost. We have three dogs all under 20 lbs. Their rate was $85 a dog for bath and kennel cut. That was more expensive per dog than driving to Chandler, including gas. So we left. I cannot rate the quality of the grooming, because we didn't actually get them groomed there. read more

I have been taking my dogs here for many years. Nail trim used to be $10 then $20 and now $24! Thats insane! They uses to do nail trims on a walk in basis since it takes about 3 minutes to do and yesterday, my son drove our dog all the way there for a walk in nail trim, like he has done may times before, and they refused to do it and he had to make an appointment for the next day and do it again all for a 3 minute service! Staff used to be nice and welcoming and now seem short and kind of just snotty in general. Maybe a bad day but just TOO MANY negatives. $15 walk in nail trims by a friendly staff is what Im going to look for. No one would stay loyal with this kind of treatment. read more

If you have unlimited funds this is the place for you and your dog. We have a 10yr old Golden Doodle with a curly coat. First time going here so I asked the fee for Golden Doodles, which is usually higher due to their coat. A lady came out and checked her coat. I was quoted 120.00 and told our girl would be ready at 3:30. We arrived around 3:10 early thinking we would just wait in the car. We were advised our girl would not be ready until 4:00. When my husband went to pick her up, he was told the charge would be 175.00 due to her hair. This is over 40% more than the 120.00 and he was in shock. We should have been advised after looking at her coat the charge would be 175.00. We are here during the winter months and have never been charged near this amount in Arizona or Illinois for grooming our girl. I do bath her between grooming and use the best conditioner. I also brush her every day. I would not recommend this groomer unless you can afford to pay more than you do for your salon. This is abuse especially, to take advantage of senior citizens. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would definitely my poor girl was shaved down to no hair at all one ear was longer than the other on the little bit of hair she did have left . Owner was very rude and was asked to call if there were any issues and not one call was made to me she said that my dog was extremely matted when I dropped her off she was perfectly fine if she was planning to shave my dog completely she could of at least called instead of proceeding this is just absolute LAZINESS. Definitely won't be ever going back I was referred by friends and best believe they will not be returning customers as well after the experience I had. Come to find out it's not the first time I guess they have had the same issue before . They try to take like 20 dogs in at once so maybe they should take in consideration that we are paying customers and expect you to take time and do a good job especially if your charging 80$ per dog ! I took my maltipoo in for a groom and I picked him up and his hair was extremely uneven and he had spots of long hair where he wasn't even groomed. I get home that night and noticed that he had been sliced and was bleeding down by his genital area. Nobody told me anything upon pick up that he had been sliced or anything! HORRIBLE place. I started coming here since last year and everything was amazing, I fell in love with their skills...until my last two visits. I have been painfully disappointed. Can't even begin to describe how horrible and uneven of a job they did! They are really nice people, but their job performance is not up to standards.....I guess they might have gotten new staff because it is nothing like it was back then. This dog grooming place definitely is "a touch of class!" Prior to calling this groomer, I checked out their website to see what types of services they provide and the cost. After reading the reviews, and thoroughly seeing what this groomer was about, I called and brought my 4 month old female West Highland Terrier - Mayzie to this place for her 1st grooming today, 08/17/19. A Touch of Class was recommended to me by a co-worker of my partner. I called them on Friday, 08/16/19. They were very professional, and thorough with the grooming process especially for a pup's first grooming session. They were able to get me set up immediately for the next day (Saturday) at 8:00 AM. They provided me with the details as to what exactly are the services they provide in the grooming (which is again on their website). They also request for proof of vaccination records/shots which in itself was 5 stars in my mind. Upon arrival, myself and Mayzie were greeted with a very friendly, welcoming, and professional welcome by the 3 staff. I was a bit nervous leaving her with "strangers", but I was reassured they would not make Mayzie do anything she didn't like or want during the grooming process. As I was checking in, I noticed several customers coming in with their dogs and I took note of how these customers and their fur babies were greeted and welcomed as well. It appeared most were repeat customers, and the fur babies all seemed to be acclimated to the staff there. Seeing this put my apprehension at ease. One of the groomers discussed with me the 'standard breed cut' for Westies and I shared with her what I was eventually wanting her coat to look like moving forward. She provided active listening and also made some suggestions as to the style of cut, etc. I was most appreciative of them taking the time to discuss with me what type of cut and for them to share their suggestions. They told me it would take up to 2 hours to groom Mayzie and they would call me when she was finished. It was just under 2 hours when they called to say she was ready for pick up. Upon arriving back to the facility, Mayzie was comfortably and patiently awaiting for my arrival. The cut was spot on and actually more to my liking than what I had in mind originally! Don't get me wrong they did exactly as I requested, but I had something else pictured in my head. Her coat was clean, and white. She smelled fresh. She also appeared to not be in any type of distress or anxious. In fact, if I let her I actually think she would have loved to have stayed there a bit longer and hung out with them. :) The total cost for this grooming session was $55.00, but because I was so happy with their service from A to Z, I left them an $11.00 tip. The facility was very clean, organized and open. I found the openness of how it is set up to be very transparent. So, it's not like they are taking your dog "behind closed doors". Mayzie and I left as very happy, and satisfied customers. We will definitely be returning to this place for future grooming sessions. I give this place 2 big thumbs up! Great job! read more

I brought my dog in for grooming based on the previous reviews and was totally disappointed. No one was happy or all that nice. All the dogs in the cages looked sad. And the groomer made negative comments about my previous groomers cut. Well I've got to say it looked A WHOLE LOT Better than what she did. My guy had sections all over him that were left longer than the rest. And then she charged me more than quoted. When I called to make the appointment the woman who answered the phone sounded grumpy. I thought she was just having a bad day but nope, when I brought my dog in for his appointment she was still like that. I felt really bad leaving my dog and almost just left with him but I thought I'd give their grooming a try. Never again! They may have been nice 5 months ago but they sure aren't now! I hope that they read this and instead of getting mad at reading it, put this information to good use! We pay good money to have our fur babies groomed. Most of us don't even spend that much on our own hair styles. Good Customer service goes a long way in maintaining a business these days! The ladies at A Touch of Class are AMAZING! I have a Weaton/Bejon mix named Taz who is very difficult to groom, she likes to wiggle. Pets Mart and PetCo have both told me never to bring her back. The ladies are incredibly nice and friendly, they are kind with Taz, you can tell they are true animal lovers! They are the only groomers who are patient enough to wash and groom my dog! We have not been in for a while because Taz has developed allergies which i hear is not uncommon for Weatons, but as soon as she is better we will definitely be back!! read more

This was my huskies first time being groomed and they did SO GREAT! Joslyn was very sweet and got me in way quicker than expected. Cherokee had some pretty serious matting and a very thick coat and it took them under two hours which I was very shocked with. I picked up Cherokee and his coat looked beautiful, he has never felt so soft. All the matting was gone and his hair felt nice and thinned out.
