A Texas Staunch Auto Glass - Broken window - Auto Glass Services Near Me

Came to me next day and got it done quickly. Best quote and quick service is all I could ask for.

2 days after purchasing a new car, someone smashed the driver side window completely off while it was parked at my workplace parking lot. I was exhausted from the issues that lead me to buy a new car caused, defeated, tired, and honestly not financially prepared for any new curveballs. Alfredo made everything better in like, an hour. He came to me, same day service, did a wonderful job, explained the additional damage details I will need to discuss with the dealership when I can, and was so affordable. I appreciate his job well done so much and highly recommend this company to anyone looking for auto glass repairs. read more

This is a few months overdue, but I couldn't NOT sing Alfredo's praises. My car was broken into while I was at the movies one evening--NOT what I was expecting to come out to, may the thief ROT--and the following morning, I began the task of gathering quotes to fix my rear passenger window. Alfredo was one of two businesses with VERY reasonable pricing and great response times, and his pricing was actually the best overall. He was able to come out to my place and install a new window within a few hours (if that) of my initial request for a quote! As requested, he also fixed a small chip in my front windshield for a nominal extra fee. Also, as a courtesy, they also vacuum all of the broken glass out of your car, and it was SO nice to not have to worry about that, on top of the stress of dealing with theft and insurance claims, and the like. Overall, A+ service! I hope I don't have to deal with that kind of vandalism again, but I know who to contact if I do! read more

Wow! I had my windshield replaced by Alfredo and his wife, I think. This small business deserves 10 stars. From the moment I called to get a quote to the moment they finished, I can't think of anything else they could have done to improve their service, communication or pricing. Thank you for a great job. read more

Took a weekend trip to Houston and my car was broken into but these guys were so awesome in responding quickly and getting my window fixed! An attempt to steal my car by bashing out one of the rear windows occurred over the Memorial Day weekend. I contacted several companies but none had appointments until after the holiday. A Texas Staunch relied within 10 minutes, provided a great quote, and arranged to come out the next morning to replace the window. They were on time, completed the job expertly, and even vacuumed all the broken glass from inside the car. Extra kudos for coming out in the extreme heat to help me. Would definitely recommend. The price I paid was $250.00 less than Safelite. read more

I was able to find this company via Yelp and by far, this has been the best experience I've had with an Auto glass company. Alfredo arrived promptly and glass installation took right around an hour as noted. He explained the full extent of the warranty and answered all of my questions with the utmost knowledge. Great service, good communication, excellent work - it has been a month or two and no leaks or problems with the new windshield. He pointed out some installation issues with the seal on my cracked Toyota original factory windshield that he removed that may have been causing noise and he was correct, his windshield is quieter at highway speeds due to having the seal installed correctly. Very happy and saved money vs OEM replacement. read more

I was in a hail storm in Lawton, OK and my rear window got smashed. I searched everywhere from Lawton to Dallas and Houston for a replacement. Most places didn't have in stock and needed a few days to order and they were very expensive. When I called this place, Alfredo was very nice. He had my window in stock and he was able to replace the window in a short time. Glad I didn't have to wait long because it was 101 degrees outside. They did a great job. Even though the window was not OEM, it looks very nice. Thanks Alfredo! read more

Alfredo contacted me promptly, gave his direct cell phone, price was very competitive, and came to my place same day as I requested it ( you don't want to drive around Houston without passenger's side window, for obvious reasons!!) . He was on time, cleaned up shattered glass (bastards who break windows should be fed that!!), and completed good quality replacement fast! Recommend him highly. And hope not to need his services any time soon ( Alfredo, nothing personal!! ). read more

Fast response for a quote and was able to replace my windshield in the same day. I had issues with two other businesses getting back to me and scheduling a time. One had an excuse of emails "getting lost in the shuffle", the other simply never responded. Alfredo was able to replace my windshield in the amount of time he promised. He also found some things wrong with the last time I had a windshield installed. Although he was slightly later than the scheduled time, he made it right and adjusted prices accordingly. With a lifetime warranty and great service, I think I've found a windshield company that I'll be using consistently in the future. read more

My car was broken into, 1 window gone and smashed. I would recommend TX auto glass - quick response and quality service.

Alfredo deserves 5 Stars for providing me with excellent service. The windshield on my 2003 BMW had severe cracks and had been previously replaced, so you never really know how well it was done the last time. I wanted to get it replaced before the bad weather. I initially was going to bring my car to a major glass company's shop, but I became concerned that they may not be familiar with on older vehicle like mine. I decided to contact A Staunch based on previous reviews. He got back to me immediately and I had a new windshield installed Perfectly at my home within 4 hours of contact. Amazing! Thanks again. read more

It is hard to find a reliable windshield guy but Alfredo is the best one I know of. I recommend him to everyone that is in need of a windshield or glass he keeps his appointment times accurately. Not sure how my husband found this company, but glad he did. Mobile only, which is a huge plus.....bc the chances of me being on time going.....well, anywhere.....are slim to none! But he said 7:30am & he pulled up AT 7:30am. Got started right away, showed me exactly how my windshield got cracked, we were waaayyyy off, & then let me know that my sunroof had also been hit! Luckily not damaged, YAY!!!! For the record, this did not take place when I was behind the wheel, let alone in the truck at all. So ya won't blame this one on me! Back to the review........So far so good. Very Professional, Friendly, Quick, & Affordable!!! If you want someone that will come to you on time.....prepaired.....very knowledgeable.....ya know, all the things you look for when trusting someone come to your home, I highly recommend A Texas Staunch Auto Glass! read more

I am blown away. Amazing. I had my car broken into and needed a window repair, cost was 169 and some tax. He were mobile and came to my apartment to fix my car!!! In addition, my car had shattered glass everywhere. And it was a mess. He helped me move stuff out of the way and vacuumed my car for me! Then he went to repair my window, looks good as new. Competitive (lowest) price, free mobile, and free vacuum. I hope I will never "need" their service again but if I am ever broken into or my friends/family experience this unfortunate event, I will definitely be keeping them in mind. Fantastic service. Hands-down the best experience I've had with an auto glass company. I've had good and bad experiences with others, but A Texas Staunch Auto Glass beats them all. First off, their mobile service is beyond convenient. They came to my house and replaced my windshield while I worked inside. Second, the installer who came (Alfredo) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything I might need to know, including the quality of glass he used - which was very good. Even when I pointed out the shoddy work another glass company had done, he didn't want to say anything negative about them despite them being his competition. He also worked efficiently and let me know exactly how long to let the adhesive set once he was finished. The greatest part is that he achieved what any glass, paint, or body shop should: when the job was done it was impossible to tell that it wasn't factory-original. All that, and still at a lower price than any of the other auto glass companies around town! I should also mention that some of the other companies use him as a subcontractor, so you're better off cutting out the middle man and contacting him directly. You'll be glad you did! read more

My car was broken into and the window was smashed. I requested for quotes on yelp. Alfredo( The Owner) replied quickly. I called and was lucky enough to have them come on the same day. They cleaned up the shattered glass inside and replaced a new window for me. It was a super hot day but it didn't stop them from getting the work done. Alfredo has very good skill and my window works perfectly! Their hard work and dedication earned the 5 star and I'm truly grateful! I will recommend this company to all my friends!
