Then the wash machine would not drain. I tried everything I could find online, and then decided to break down and call Raker. John from Raker asked for all the model numbers of the appliances before he arrived so that he could get the necessary parts just in case he needed to to reduce the number of trips out. Smart move, kept costs low. He showed up in professional attire at a time that worked with my schedule. First he tackled the wash machine, and was able to show me pieces that even I couldn't get to. He tackled the dishwasher, noting I may need to buy a new door, which would be expensive. He offered me some suggestions of the best dishwashers on the market at the time just in case the cost to repair was too great. He was able to find just the soap dispenser instead of having to re-buy the entire door, and at an affordable price. Lastly was the cooktop. It took several trips out, but John was able to handle it. Even though he came out some 7 times (due to a series of bad components), he didn't charge me for each trip. In the end, it ran me $781 to fix three separate appliance, which included all the parts (which were more than 2/3 of the total). I would happily recommend Raker and John Herrell to anyone looking for friendly, knowledgable, affordable and effective appliance repair. I know the next time I have problems with any appliance, they'll be the ones I call.

So he went to call them back later that day to approve install and his call would not go through, called from my phone and it went through, they had blocked his number. He told office manager his phone was blocked and he was calling from his wifes phone, she said oh what is her number so I can add to your account in case we can't get in touch with you. Was told by office manager that she would get us estimate to approve and pay deposit by 4:00. At 3:50 still nothing so my husband called them back to find out they had blocked both our phones now.
