I had 5 companies come to provide a sewer line replacement quote and Marino had a great price with a contract that clearly laid out the work to be done without any clauses to run up the price like other companies did. Work was done quickly without any issues and they also spent several hours after the sewer line was done making sure the soil was compacted down then put down grass seed and straw. All other companies were only offering to leave a mound of loose dirt. When a small part settled they came back out to fill the area and added more seed and straw.

Matt was professional, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. He arrived exactly when he said he would, completed the installation with great attention to detail, and left the work area cleaner than he found it. One thing I really appreciated was that the final bill matched his estimate exactly--no surprises or hidden fees. It's rare to find someone who is so reliable, honest, and committed to doing quality work. If you need a plumber who shows up, communicates well, charges exactly what he quotes, and takes pride in his craftsmanship, I highly recommend Matt and Opata Plumbing. I'll definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs.

Rather than spending hundreds of dollars, he recommended we call Baltimore County to have them do a sewer clean-out. He provided the phone number and said they usually respond within an hour or so. All went exactly as Pat explained but unfortunately our toilet remained clogged. I called back and his son (assuming - same last name) came by that afternoon. Our toilets were fixed in no time. The quality of service we received was incredible; from first call to completion. They were honest, timely, and effective. The price was more than reasonable too. O'Neill Plumbing will definitely be our go-to from now on.

They cut some corners that were not up to code and they installed the expansion tank on the hot side, horizontally, and with no support. When I called in about this they assured me that the tank could be on the hot side no problem. Several other experienced plumbers and the literal instruction manual for the heater all say to never install the tank on the hot side. So I just have to pay someone else to take care of it properly now

DO NOT USE FROSTY…read more While it is true what others have said that the technician Terry was fantastic, the management at Frosty is not trustworthy. They low-balled an estimate when they had knowledge of the unit, the specific part needed, and the industry standard for labor. And when the job was completed in less than time than expected, the final invoice came back 70% higher than the high-end of the estimated range. The misleading initial estimate was either fraudulent in order to get the job, or incompetent. Terry should work for someone else. I would not trust Frosty.

They were able to meet the daily time constraints for an appointment within a week. Although, I do think evening or Saturday hours would be helpful for those of us that work the same hours that they are currently open. The person coming to my house, Joseph, called beforehand to say he was on his way and showed up exactly in the scheduled time frame. I explained my issue and he got right to work. He even answered all of my questions without being bothered. It took some time to snake the drain and replace the old vents, but it was done well within a reasonable time frame. He even brought up Saffer's "Safer with Saffer" club membership which saved me 10 percent on this visit plus free estimates on future calls and even discounts with some other members in the program plus a whole lot more. It is well worth the $100 yearly cost. As others have said, they are not the cheapest but they are the best and I would have to agree. People always want something fixed on the cheap, but what they don't realize is you truly get what you pay for. I have learned it is almost always bettter to pay a little more the first time then have to pay twice for something because it wasn't fixed right. I would recommend Saffer, and Joseph in the future, and will definitely use them for plumbing and potential electrical issues.

What should have been a straightforward hot water heater installation required five separate visits and took a total of five weeks to fully resolve. During the process, the company damaged my flooring, which they eventually replaced. They also removed a door and initially failed to rehang it. In addition, molding was removed and never replaced. I had to repeatedly follow up to get these issues addressed, turning what should have been a simple installation into a prolonged and frustrating ordeal. Not a single acknowledgment from a problem nor an apology. While some of the damage was eventually corrected, the poor communication, lack of attention to detail, repeated visits, and extended timeline were unacceptable--particularly given the high cost. I would expect much better coordination, care, and accountability from a professional plumbing company.
