I really appreciated her reaching out so fast like that! I'll be honest I was pretty bummed after it happened because they have done a great job thus far and their choices for colors is pretty impressive! Lilly offered a discount for my next visit and a refund ! If that isn't customer service I don't know what is. I will be going back after all! Long story short- after telling the girl who was doing my builder gel refill, telling the man, and finally the woman who seems to own the place NO I do not want extensions or tips on my two nails that broke they proceeded to do them anyway. On top of waiting between my pedicure and manicure for 15-20 minutes , they did something I told them very specifically NOT to do they did anyway! This was my second time there. Also keep in mind if they ask you if you want callous remover they charge a whopping $12 bucks. I could've done it before I came for free considering I have the stuff at home. I just don't like people who try to upsell and then proceed to do the service after you say NO multiple times. Insane. Lily- it doesn't matter what lengths my nails were. You asked if I wanted extensions I said no. Period. I said it three times. If you cared that much and I didn't then why charge me? Clearly you didn't care. The callous treatment charge was never told to me I just agreed to do it. I did not agree to the extensions that were added to two nails.

At most salons, the customer asks for the "extras" menu, it isn't aggressively given to them while the tech stares them down to make a decision. The pedicure itself was average; you can get the same service anywhere. Towards the end, I had to take a phone call for work, and this is where things went south quickly. As someone with multiple degrees who speaks all day, every day, I am well-aware and cognizant of my voice volume. I would never take a call if it wasn't an emergency, and my toes were almost all painted at this point. Some "manager," frumpy as can be, messy, disheveled and looking like she was wearing pajamas, SUSHED ME! The human was probably in her late 30's but looked like she was in her early 50's and (again) wearing pajamas...AT WORK! To add insult to injury, after I hung up with my patient, I went to dry my toes, and I heard the frumpy queen and another customer discussing the fact that someone smelled like smoke (it wasn't me, but I was offended on behalf of whoever it was). The lifestyle choices of others are NOT something that should be discussed out loud, especially by someone MANAGING a salon. There are a million nail places, don't trouble yourself by choosing this one.

He was extrememly rough with both my arms twisting and repositioning them aggressively and frequently without my permission. I should have stopped it as soon as it started but I sadly did not and now feel horrible I allowed this to happen to myself. I will never go back and am considering reporting this. Just warning everyone as it was completely unacceptable and inappropriate. No one should leave a nail salon bruised and broken.

I had an absolutely awful experience at Bloom Nails, and the hygiene practices I witnessed were…read moregenuinely concerning. During my pedicure, the technician picked up a used/dirty cotton pad from the FLOOR and was about to use it on my feet. I had to stop her and specifically ask her to get a new, clean one. Instead of apologizing, she seemed annoyed that I had said something. The gel application was also incredibly careless. There was gel polish left on my skin, and I asked her to remove it before putting my feet under the UV lamp because I did not want gel curing directly on my skin. She insisted it was "fine" and said she would remove it afterward. I had to insist that I was not comfortable curing gel on my skin due to potentially health concerns from having gel on skin. The tools I saw being used looked dirty, and I did not see the level of cleaning or sanitation I would expect from a nail salon. After seeing a cotton pad picked up from the floor and nearly used on me, I had zero confidence in their hygiene practices. The customer service made the experience even worse. The staff came across as rude and gossipy. I used Google Translate during the visit, and what it translated included them referring to me as a "bitch." Whether they assumed I couldn't understand them or simply didn't care, it was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. I left feeling disgusted by both the hygiene and the way I was treated. A customer should never have to tell a nail technician not to use something that was just picked up off the floor, or argue about having gel removed from their skin before curing. I will absolutely not be returning.
