Stained wedding dress w/ pad sewn in poorly.
    Zory N.

There seems to be a lot of gas lighting going on with the responses from Linda, so my review will be facts only. -there were numerous stains that i found on the my wedding dress that i found on my dress the day of my wedding (of which i have photos of) i didn't notice them in the dim lighting of her shop at the final fitting. -she put pads in place to hold up the structure of the dress. But the pads didn't do anything other than show at the neckline of my dress. -the neckline that she adjusted was fairly sloppy and you could see the thread when looking at it. Probably would've looked better if it wasn't touched. -my mother was a seamstress and noticed that the slip that was adjusted by Linda was entirely crooked. -her shop was fairly dirty and was most likely the cause of all of the stains on my dress. -the buttons were sewn on pretty crooked and i regret asking for them to be put on -the sleeves that had to be sewn together looking pretty good. (Other than the buttons) -when my now husband went in to fit his jacket, she said "oh I was expecting you to be bigger", to him. Implying that since i am a plus size women she assumed he would be plus size as well. -i had to go in about 5 different time, because of things she had forgotten. My opinion: I thought that everything was just fine but after paying 250+ dollars and after 5 trips (to adjusting things we had already discussed) this was a fairly bad experience. Please please please do not no let this women touch your wedding dress. She seems like she know what she's doing but the end result will not make you feel good on your wedding day. Just because "you will be the only person that notices" all the flaws on your dress doesn't mean it is okay that they're there. I was so horrified the night before/morning of my wedding to find all these issues. I literally had to take a knife to my dress to cute this crappy make shift padding she unnecessarily add during my first look so that it wouldn't show in my pictures and so I didn't need to keep adjusting my dress over and over again. Such a complete disappointment. Work was subpar, and I'm upset at myself for not trusting my gut on this one. And the passive aggressive comments were possibly un-intended but still completely unprofessional.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I was really disappointed with amazing alterations and would not…read morerecommend it. They altered my dress and barely shortened it. It was really expensive which I was fine with but my dress was way too long still at my wedding to the point where I was stepping on it during my wedding and it actually ended up tearing. As professionals who alter dresses I was expecting that they would know what the right length was. There were other hiccups such as putting in cups in the chest area to eventually having to remove them. I tried the dress on when I went to pick it up and the chest area would not fit. I let them know that I could not wear the dress like that so they removed the cups. Overall, I am disappointed with the service I got. I bought an expensive dress, paid a lot for alterations at amazing alterations and now have a dress that is completely ruined and was difficult to wear on my wedding day due to the length.

They did an amazing job with my dress and didn't push for the "form fit" and more alterations than I asked for. It does get a bit nerve wracking when they bring out the scissors and start cutting your dress, but don't worry they are professionals and know what they are going. Everyone I met with was super fun to talk to and are knowledgeable in their business. When I asked them to add a modestly panel to the front of my dress so they added a piece of lace to my dress that looked like the designer meant to to be there. It looked amazing!

The lady said it will be $42 plus tax (seemed excessive, but still cheaper than a new jacket). Picked up the jacket and everything looked great. Literally took it home, put the jacket in a garment bag and headed to a meet. Took the jacket out of the bag at the meet and 20 minutes later the zipper fell apart. My daughter only zipped it up once!! Took the jacket back and the lady said she would not repair it. We told her we literally got one zip out of it. She wanted us to pay another $42!!. She charges a premium and doesn't stand behind her work. Buyer Beware!!

So Sad....had high hopes for this place. No ratings so I thought I would like to give it a chance…read more Being very new to Washington I needed an alterations person. My daughter was to be a bridesmaid in my son's wedding. Having ordered the dress directly from the manufacturer we paid a pretty penny for it. Let's just say in excess of about 200.00 it is a long 2 layer dress with beading over the entire dress. I wanted an "Expert Tailor" since we had paid so much for the dress. My daughter being VERY particular about her looks would not be happy unless it was done with quality workmanship. When we arrived at the shop we were thinking it would be good because the store was clean and she seamed to have lot's of items she was working on. It was about a month before we were leaving for California which is where the wedding was. We told her that we needed the dress hemmed and taken in just a bit. I pointed out to her that the dress had ALL of the beading and wanted to make sure that she finished the edging so that the beads wouldn't fall off. We also had 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of yoga pants that needed to be hemmed as well. She said no problem. When she wrote up the tag for our order the total bill came to $159.00 I was a bit surprised but thought I would not pay her til we picked it all up. And I felt that for the extra work on the beading I didn't mind paying a little more. I expected it. She asked when we were leaving for the wedding and we told her the date. She wrote the pick-up date to be 3.5 weeks after we dropped it off. So to be exact, 4 days before we were to leave. I asked her if we needed to call or just come by. She said "no it'll be ready, just come". Thought ok.....she needs more time again bcuz of the beading. Fast forward to day to pick up. We show up and when she sees us get out of the car she gets out of a car parked in front of her store and runs in in front of us. I say "hi, we are here to pick up my daughters dress" she looks kinda confused and I tell her the 1 with the beading. She says "oh yes, I am not finished, give me maybe 5 - 10 more mins". We say ok and wait. She says she is finishing up the zipper. 10 - 15 mins. Later she hangs the dress on a Hanger and comes over to us. I ask and the 2 Pais of pants? She says oh yes and proceeds to "look" for them until I point out they were hanging on the other side of the room. She turns to us and says "oh, these are not done can you come back in 2 days, which was a Friday, and I will have them done. Soooo, we leave her shop and I tell my daughter As soon as we get home, put the dress on, I want to look at it. You'll see in the pictures this is the work she did on the $200 dress. The pictures were taken before we left for California. What was I to do it was the Wednesday before we were to leave on Tuesday and she is CLOSED on Sat. And Sunday. To summarize DON'T use this business for your expensive alterations and don't expect your item's to be done when she says they will be.
