We are the Stewart's and moved to a Senior Park in Pinellas County Florida from central NY in 2012…read more We had no idea all the different kinds of bugs we would see. Our first encounter was seeing fairly large bugs running across the floor. My wife screamed and said "WE'RE OUT OF HERE!". I quickly call my friend who lives in the same park and he suggested to call Dave Sr. owner of "Bug Out" and gave me the number. I called and explained the problem and he immediately came out and identified them as Palmetto Bugs and quickly treated our house. He said it might take a few days but if we continued to see them call and he would come right back. My wife insisted that after one days she saw another. So to keep her happy I called and he came right back out and did another treatment. Then they were all gone and have been ever since. Recently we encounter very tiny bugs on the counter top so we called "Bug Out" and they came right out. Dave identified these as German Cockroaches and explained their origin and reproductive habits. Also they might have been brought in on some of the leafy vegetable we bought. Anyways he treated and baited with precision and now they are all gone. I don't normally write reviews but after recently receiving a flyer from a Big Brand Name bug company franchise operator making goofy statements about their service it inspired me to do so. Remember, anyone can buy a franchise if they have the money whether they personally are any good or not. The name may have a reputation but the operator doesn't. Dave Sr. explained that "Bug Out" is a family owned and operated business. We have now been loyal customers for well over 10 years. They have constantly expanded over the years but still kept the personal family touch and always take the time to answer any questions we might have in full detail. I can not say enough good things about Dave Sr., his son Dave Jr. and their whole "Bug Out" team. They are truly knowledgeable professionals in every aspect. They cherish their family and business as well as all the customers they serve. So if you do not have them, YOU SHOULD! If I could give them a "10" star review I would but unfortunately the rating only goes to "5", so "5" IT IS FOR CERTAIN ! My nickname is "BUFF", so at the age of 77 when I walk fast neighbors yell, "GO BUFF"!

I had won a year's worth of service at a Relay for Life fundraiser where local companies donate their services so participants buy up raffles in hopes of winning one of them. When I mailed it in with my information and address, I got a call from the owner who wanted to know more about the certificate because he'd never seen it. The individual who had offered this donation and signed the certificate was no longer working for the company. Rather than saying I'm the owner and didn't approve this, he said that it wasn't my fault and he'd honor the prize. Service was scheduled for them to come 3 days later and the technician arrived right at the start of a 2 hour window. As a business owner myself, that speaks to the integrity and professionalism of the business. Kudos Pete. And thank you. You have a customer for life who will refer others to you.
