    Grilled Shrimp

Amazing food and ambiance! Our waiter Gadson was great!! Definitely try! One of the highlights of our trip;)

Great ambiance, good service, large menu but small portions. Up into atrani you'll find this restaurant on the right. It's menu has a good selection of homemade pasta dishes. Most involve fish or seafood (shrimp, mussels, etc) and the menu has very thorough english for those that don't know Italian. The portions are small and our local fish with veggies dish was a bit on the dry side but the flavors were good. Our pasta and mixed salad were also good.

    Risotto scampi style!

A Paranza has a wide variety of seafood and pasta. I went with my family of four, and we felt that the place was a little stuffy for our casual temperaments. The place has white table cloths and very kind staff. We ordered the stuffed zucchini flowers because we had seen a great review. They were stuffed with swordfish and other ingredients; however, the swordfish really monopolized the flavor of anything else. I ordered the risotto scampi style and absolutely loved my meal. My sister ordered the pasta with clams and loved her meal as well. My mom ordered the grilled fish special, while my dad ordered another type of fish. Their meals were almost comically small, but they said they were delicious. Unfortunately, the small size of their fish entrees left them hungry. With that said, I highly recommend the primi dishes since they are a good portion!

Glad I did cause it had options I like. (calamari, french fries, fried mozzarella balls)! (And for travelers, be forewarned. When they say calamari it's full on tentacle and the other pieces. So if you're expecting just circular pieces, don't.) I love each individually and got all in one place! They should put it on the menu permanently. There are a couple stools and tables to sit outside. The ladies serving me were nice and funny. I had to give it 3 stars cause the calamari wasn't very hot and the mozzarella balls were just that, mozzarella balls where they were fried but they weren't hot and the ball didn't melt at all. Only the outside seemed to be cooked perfectly. Besides the fries, which were great, everything else was just kinda luke-warm. All in all it wasn't bad and I'd probably try other ones if I was there. There were 5 other people that were eating there and they all seemed to really love what they were having! It's kinda off the beaten path (you have to take the path to Piazza dei Dogi to get to it). There is another place in Piazza Duomo that people went to but I don't recall seeing as many options.

My husband and I were recommended this place by our host, whose Amalfi apartment we were staying in. She told us how to find it, walking around the mountainside from Amalfi to Atrani, enjoying the gorgeous views along the way. The walk itself was super easy and finding the restaurant was too, once we figured out that we need to take some steps down from the main road. The food here is incredible and "no-fuss." Delicious, fresh seafood and cheap wine... what the Amalfi coast is all about! Order the calamari, my mouth is watering just thinking about it now...

The lights are pretty and there's good atmosphere outside. We were brought Aperol spritzes upon being seated. My companion had the fish tasting menu and liked it. I had pasta--lemon sauce on linguine--it was so good! Serving sizes are bigger than in some restaurants in Italy. These are not huge American portions, but somewhere between American and Italian. The prices are fine. There's a 5-euro cover charge, but we got those spritzes and bread, so... fine. We were charged 2,50 euro for water each, but we only had one bottle.

We started with an amuse-bouche (compliments of the chef), which was a parmesan cracker with ricotta. We shared two appetizers among the four of us - a tuna carpaccio in citrus fruit and poached eggs with black truffle. The poached egg came in a sauce that was totally delicious and mop-able with bread. The tuna was fantastic and very light. For the main, our table split the pasta stuffed with burrata and black truffle and the risotto with red shrimp in lemon sauce. Absolutely incredible! The risotto was soooo refreshing and light and cooked perfectly. The truffle pasta was full umami flavor and a flavor party. We ended with delicious desserts, my husband got the hazelnut coffee which he loved and I got a lemon assortment. This had a lemon cream brulee sort of preparation which I loved. The wines here were also fantastic and the service prompt and great!

They don't have anything marked GF on their menu but the server walked me through what I could have. My friend and I started with the La Caprese and they provided me with a GF baguette. For my entree I had the zucchini GF pasta. The pasta was good but the sauce was a bit overwhelming. It wasn't my favorite. My friend ordered the La Genovese with GF pasta and it was really enjoyable. They only had 1 GF dessert so we opted to get the lemon sorbet. They also brought out a few GF candies as well. Overall the service and views were really nice but I wasn't a fan of my entree.
