Smart Fire Protection promptly responded to my request for service on YELP on a Saturday and…read moreprovided a fast quote. We had a leaking sprinkler head, which had caused water damage to an area of the garage. We shut off the water and had to work with a mitigation team to remove the wet dry wall and the ceiling around the sprinkler head to confirm the leak was coming from the sprinkler head itself. It was a stressful situation for someone encountering this type of a situation for the first time. Smart Fire Protection said they can come out to the house same day, which I really appreciated. The rate was higher than expected but I figured it is due to weekend pricing, and it was not unreasonable. We wanted to get the water turned back on sooner vs. waiting until Monday. Jose was professional and courteous and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. I learned a lot about the sprinkler system. He replaced the sprinkler head, checked the pressure gauge, pointed out some calcifications in the pipes to keep an eye on. He flushed and recharged the system and recommended we check back in for an inspection of the overall sprinkler system throughout the house later in the year. Overall a great experience and worth recommending!

While they were not the lowest, they were the most responsive and knew their business well. We had them do the work and while they were here, they also did the Annual and 5 year Fire inspection, which included the sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, Exit and Emergency lighting. The provided a written report and provided guidance needed for compliance. Their crew was professional, friendly and also knew the business. They cleaned up after themselves. Bryson's expertise was apparent, but just as impressive was his easygoing demeanor and exceptional customer service. I'm a roofer and I recently installed a brand new tile roof system on the home of a customer who…read morewas a bit of a handful... While we were putting a new roof on for him, one of the cosmetic covers on my client's fire sprinklers fell off of his ceiling and hit the ground... I knew it wasn't our fault and it was an improper installation, otherwise it would've never fallen off the ceiling throughout the course of a regular roof installation, but homeowners don't know that, and technically, it was (Presumably) my men hammering that made the improperly installed cosmetic cover fall off.. (and of course it was 22 feet off of the ground on the highest voltage ceiling, you can imagine someone having).. I thought about doing it myself, but not only could that be considered a violation of my license, but in addition to that, I am not trained in handling fire suppression systems... Everything in me was thinking " I've been in skilled trades since 1991, there are very few things I don't know how to do, it's just a cosmetic cover, I'm sure I could just repair this and snap it back on." but then I thought to myself, "No, that's not right... how would I want another contractor to treat one of my family members ? ..the right thing to do by this client would be to hire and pay for the best, most reputable, licensed bonded, and insured fire suppression company I can find to take care of this the right way." So that's what I did... I got three bids from the three top rated companies... One of them was only about $70 parts tax labor out the door.. but I wasn't interested in a cheap price, I wanted the job done right- so contracted with Kerry and Firehouse. Reason I did that is because I wanted it done right, plus, I'm the best in my field, and if I'm going to send somebody into one of my clients houses, and they're going to be an ambassador for me, I want the best. Kerry did not disappoint... Everything was exactly as I would've expected from someone with his reputation. I was very pleased, and even my problem client was pleased. Kerry is a pro through and through, as is his right hand man who was with him. Kerry knows how to roll with the punches, and get the job done right, by code, the way it should be done. Thank Kerry

Action Automatic is the go-to team for fire sprinkler system services. After moving into my house,…read moreI asked them to check my fire sprinklers, and they discovered that the alarm bell on the exterior of my home was not working which would be critical in case of a fire. This bell is important because it alerts neighbors if the sprinklers inside the house are running. Keep in mind that prices for this type of work will be higher than for standard plumbing services, as fire sprinkler systems require specialized expertise. A year later, I called them about an odd late-night knocking in my pipes and a humming from the electronic switch in the garage that controls the fire sprinklers. Although they didn't need to come out for a visit, they were very patient, answering my questions and coordinating with the plumber who was at my house. They even offered some suggestions, which ultimately led me to try some other ideas. I was eventually able to trace my problem back to an issue with my pool autofill system.
