Being new to the area, it's difficult to find some services, one being a new nail salon. I usually just get a pedicure and for a mani, I like just the tech to clean my cuticles and buff nails. You'd think it be simple. I called A+ Nail for an appointment, the gentleman I spoke to and I agreed on 1:30pm. I showed up a few minutes late. Upon arrival there were four or five technicians working on people, so they sat me down at pedi chair and this is where the problem started...I waited a good 5-8 mins before someone came to start pedi. Once pedi began, I was again to wait for a different tech to come finish pedi and paint my nails. While waiting, I observed a tech taking care of two people at the same time. ?!?!?! I'm totally confused why they'd do something like this. I feel they take on too many people for the amount of techs they have. I would not go back, just wasn't a good fit for me. read more

I have terrible, weak nails that peel and break. Normal polish usually chips within a day, and even more durable options like dip tend to lift within a week on me. Until, that is, I went to A+ Nails! It's been two weeks since my dip manicure, and it is holding strong despite more-than-normal use-- I've been painting and updating my house with these nails, and they still look great! A+ will now be my go-to nail place. The salon is not the most up-to-date, but the nice staff and high-quality work make it worth a visit. read more

I was a walk-in. They took me right away. Lots of color choices. Nice massage chairs with plexiglass patricians. I got the most amazing, hot stone pedicure and calf rub ever! I left feeling happy and pretty! Excellent price of $40, I'm sold!! I'll be back! read more

Went for the first time today for a pedicure based off of Yelp recommendations for salons in the area. I called ahead and made an appointment a few days ago, and was promptly seated in a chair when I arrived. The space was clean and they allowed me to bring my own polish. I enjoyed the classic pedicure. The entire service was thorough and pleasant. I will be back! read more

I needed my nails done and checked Yelp for a suggestion. This place had mostly positive reviews so I made a appointment. They are a busy little salon but got me in quickly. It's very clean and staff welcoming and courteous. I chose dip for the first time. It took a bit over an hour. I'm very pleased with the results and will go back to have them redone. read more

I relocated to Okemos a couple years ago and hadn't found my nail place...until now. This place IS A+. Lots of pedi chairs for a bridal party or an outing with friends. The prices are affordable (photos of price lists are accurate), and the value was tremendous compared to other spa pedis in the Okemos area. If you are COVID-19 concerned, everyone is wearing masks. Employees and customers. They have thick plexiglass hanging from the ceiling at each pedi station for added protection. Had the most amazing spa pedicure from Landon a couple weeks ago. He was talented. I had a broken toe nail that was too low in the nail bed to cut off. Landon is a craftsman. He worked carefully to smooth the break so the polish looked perfect. Also, I have nerve pain and am always embarrassed because my feet will twitch uncontrollably. Landon was gentle and patient, for which I was grateful. This was the most comfortable I've ever been during an appointment. Best spa pedicure! This is my go-to for nails! read more

Quality of manicure was not good. Gel polish was several layers thick. Had to go to another salon to have it removed. Went back to A+ first and owner rudely shoved money at me and told me to leave. Will not go back there again. read more

Came here and this couple was nice had a nice pedicure, they had a little language barrier but was nice.

Mindy and Landon are amazing! I always come to them to get my nails done and every time I show them a picture of what I want done they always try their best to replicate it as much as they can. I highly recommend going to them to get your nails done! read more

Couldn't properly remove a small ingrown toenail and actually ended up infecting it. Regular pedicure and manicure was not good and took 3.5 hours total, because the shape was not right and because of inexperience I'm guessing. Eventually I had to go to a foot doctor and they had to remove half of my toenail because the toe infection was actually so bad. I tell all my friends NOT TO GO HERE. read more

The techs were nice but I wouldn't go back. They weren't clear on what the price would be and it ended up being $5 extra which isn't much but slightly annoying. I also asked for them to clip my nails but they didn't understand me and they didn't actually do it even though they said they would. They used a dremel nail file to take off gel nail polish. I'm not sure if that's standard because I don't go to salons that often but it hurt and my nails are very thin and chip now. I usually have very strong nails that I can grow out very long and now they're super brittle. read more
