Even though my friend and I had an appointment, people that got there after us actually finished before us. The owner of the salon started my pedicure and actually cut my ankle with one of the utensils. She passed me off to someone else to polish. I was in a hurry when I left and didn't see the blood until I got home. It was too late to go back so I went back the next day and showed her. After telling me she would make it right the "next time" she took $15 out of the register and told me to go buy cream. I will never go back there. Terrible customer service! She should have made it right THIS time and refunded my money. I payed $55 for the pedicure plus a $10 tip! read more

Called for a nail appointment and was able to be seen right away. I have been looking for a nail salon for my wedding nails and this place is right by my office. The salon is very clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a lot of shellac options, so I picked a glittery red, not a normal for me, but it came out very pretty! They also offer full acrylic sets and dip. My mani came out to $35 which is very reasonable and she did a great job cleaning up my nail beds. I went ahead and booked my bridal mani/pedi appointment after we talked about different options, so I'm very excited to see how they turn out! I also booked a mani/pedi for my Mom also. read more

Quick friendly service. Very clean and nice facility. Made an appointment and walk right in.

Do not go to this horrible salon. I always bring a picture of my request and they in turn give me their interpretation which is horribly wrong. I should have stopped her but I didn't want to make a scene. When I told them of my disappointment, they asked me not to return and I was hurt. I paid her in full plus tip. They cannot do designs. They just want to give you their interpretation and usher you out the door. They are not professional and I know they have no understanding of diplomacy. Save your time and money a seek more professional and talented nail techs. That girl Lyn, I waited over months for her on maternity leave. I tried a few different salons in the area before finally discovering one that could do a decent job. I was always so disappointed, I was beginning to wonder if I was being too picky. Dianna has become my all-time favorite nail artist and gives the best pedicures as well. No matter how short my nails are, she manages to give me what I'm looking for and even goes the extra mile to do what seems impossible. She always stops to make sure I'm liking the way my choices look on me too. This is very important to me. Of all the manicurists I've ever seen, she is the gentlest on my incredibly thin natural nails. She works magic on my calves and feet with her pedicures. Especially with those hot stones! This salon definitely follows all of the necessary sanitization procedures. I'm so picky about this! It is the number one thing I look for in salons because humans are gross. I will worry for days that I'm going to end up with a nail infection, if I spot one mishap. I'll actually get false nails removed early just to ease my mind. This is the only place I've been to that leaves nothing for me to worry about. They even helped me understand I don't need to worry about germs in the polish used on others. The atmosphere of this nail salon is really welcoming and it feels like seeing old friends. I got my last pedi at the height of my morning sickness from this pregnancy. I chose a scrub with a scent that my senses decided they will no longer tolerate and the nausea set in hard. Mid-polish! When I had to leave the pedicure to vomit, I returned to nothing but congratulations on the pregnancy. They finished up my toes and I was back in a few days to get a matching mani. It's a nice, pampering experience and we all need that once in a while. They also do waxing and there is an eyebrow specialist. I haven't tried either due to super sensitive skin but they seem pretty busy when I'm getting my Manis in the early afternoons. I highly recommend! It's not easy to find manicurists as professional, efficient and friendly as these folks. Save yourself the time and frustration and just go to ivy. read more

I had to legitimately file my own nails bc she was leaving them with dents and holes in the tips. the service was so bad I actually felt like I couldn't have them finish AND THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME $50 FOR UNPAINTED TRASH NAILS. I took my daughter and I to get manicures and pedicures, for myself the lady cut my cuticles far too down and I am experiencing pain on just about every nail bed. I've never experienced this before for any other place I've been to, my daughter nails were not painted properly and already are starting to grow out, we just had them done 2 days ago. And of course, I have to give a special shout out to my go-to nail tech, Padee--she never ceases to amaze me with her articulate and detailed artwork on my nails. I won't trust anyone else but Padee with my nails -- well, unless she is out for some reason -- then I know with any of the other nail techs that I will still be in good hands. :) The whole salon is very talented and willing to work with each client about what she or he wants and ensure they leave satifised. 10/10 recommend Ivy Nails. I took my daughter her for a mother daughter manicure and pedicure for her wedding day. I'm from Pennsylvania and picked this place because of the good reviews. When I got to Michigan I noticed that Ivy Nails and Spa was further than I anticipated and there were many more nail salons closer to our hotel. I decided to keep the appointment and I couldn't have been happier. We were welcomed with warm smiles and could not have asked for a better experience. I wish we lived closer! It was the best pedicure I ever had and the staff was helpful in picking colors for the bride's French manicure on her beautiful full set of nails that were trimmed and shaped perfectly. The lady that did my gel fill spent over an hour on my nails, fixing the crap job from a previous salon & did exactly what I asked her to. & she kept stopping & asking me if I liked them the way they were or if I wanted something changed. I've never been so obsessed with a set of nails, & I've never had a nail tech be so focused on me & my nails rather than rushing through to start on someone else. My favorite place to go! Everyone makes you feel so special when you come, addressing you by name, and catering to your every need from the second you step in the door. Prices are a little more on the higher end, but I would pay that price for the quality I receive any day. Diana is my favorite, but everyone is awesome there.
