The table was heated which was very nice, I felt nice and cozy the whole time! I had Alicia and she was fantastic! She asked me what my needs were at the beginning and then checked in with me. I first started going to Vada when she was at a different spa years ago, she's absolutely wonderful! It is so nice that Vada has her own spa now! I've had a number of services from waxing, to massage, to pedicures and have never been disappointed. I went in and got a brazilian wax a couple of weeks ago and it was not a pleasant experience (or the week after as well). I first want to say that I have been getting brazilian waxes for 8 years now (about every 8-12 weeks) and have never had an experience like this. 1) I prefer salons that have you wear underwear during the service, however her service is not wearing underwear at all, and she was NOT careful with...moving my stuff around...and it was quite uncomfortable. 2) she went over the same areas (with hot wax obviously) at least 5 times and I swelled so much that I had to ice the area for 2 nights (if your wax doesn't pick up all of the hairs after 1-2 applications, then get new wax). 3) for the next week I itched as if I had shaved myself like I did in high school, it was awful! I have never felt itchy after a waxing before. 4) my hair grew back very quickly. I gave 2 stars (I would rather give 1.5) because Vada was very nice and her other services might be wonderful, but as for the wax I will never go back or recommend. read more

I was ridiculously nervous about getting a Brazilian for the first time...I couldn't have chose a more professional place to go! Vada made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. I found even more comfort in knowing she was a nurse in her younger years! She is very knowledgeable about the skin and body. That reassured me she knows what she is doing! She was constantly making sure I was comfortable. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my spa service needs. Vada is a wonderful lady and her prices are right where they should be!
