I got a haircut from someone that really was prepared to do a different cut for me without being pushy. She showed me photos, and also explained that since my hair is thinner, it won't be exactly like the pictures. I was so thrilled to see the process and of course the final look. Definitely a new customer!

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience at Mirabella after years of positive…read moreexperiences with this salon. I booked a full highlight and haircut for noon, and on the morning of my appointment, my stylist asked if I could move to 2 PM to better accommodate her schedule. I agreed. After processing my highlights, my hair was washed and toned. My hair is very fine, but I have a lot of it, and it tangles easily. She then spent nearly an hour detangling my wet hair with an extremely fine-toothed comb, which I have never experienced a stylist using to detangle wet hair. At no point was I told I would be charged an additional fee for this or that the time spent detangling meant there would no longer be enough time to complete my haircut. After about 2.5 hours, my appointment was abruptly ended because the next client was waiting. I was sent home with my hair soaking wet and uncut and told I would have to come back another day to finish the service I had originally booked. I was then charged $225: $140 for highlights, $25 for additional product, $25 for toner, and an unexpected $35 "detangling fee" that was never discussed with me beforehand. I called the salon twice afterward because I was so frustrated with how this was handled. My stylist later explained that she couldn't finish my appointment because she had already pushed her next client back 30 minutes. I found that particularly frustrating considering I had moved my own appointment by two hours that same day specifically to accommodate her schedule. I understand that appointments can run long and additional product can cost more. What I don't find acceptable is adding an undisclosed fee and ending a booked highlight-and-cut appointment without completing the cut or even drying my hair because the next client was waiting. I was offered another appointment to come back for the haircut, but after this experience, I have no desire to return.

This woman knows so much about skin she should be a doctor, but then again, she is too smart for that. I knew my pores were clogged so I she did an extraction facial for me. She knows all about skin care lines good, bad you can ask her anything. She mixes her own combination of professional products to give you the very best for your skin condition & type. She asks questions before she starts and she gives great advice. I always appreciate someone who takes the time to observe, listen & give suggestions, it indicates awareness. She does not try to sell you skin care products and she is not a rep for the commercial lines, she is the real deal and loves what she does. I just wish I could take her back to California with me because I would in a heart beat. Rosacia, Acne, surgical scars, pitted skin, she has seen it and has worked on it.
