I have been going here off and on for several years. I have not always loved it, but there aren't many places in the area that accepts insurance. About a year ago, I went for a massage, and while I was on my stomach, the masseuse stopped working for a little bit, so I turned to my side to look and he was next to me on his cellphone. He said he was sorry but that his wife was having an issue. Ok. Didn't really give it another thought, except that it must be serious if he has to communicate with her during this time. I went back again several months later and got him again. And, it happened again....as soon as I turned on my stomach, he was at the same exact spot, next to me, on his phone. So, I was pretty much horrified at this point because I was concerned he was taking pictures/video. When I turned back over on my back, he tried to put a towel over my face, so "I could relax more". I told him no, and just waited for it to be over, which ended just a few minutes later. I am quite certain he was going to take pictures or video of me on my back with a towel over my face. When I left, I went to the car and was really upset so my husband went in and confronted the owner. He accused the masseuse of taking pictures/video of me and that it happened the last time I was there as well. The owner agreed that he should not have been on his phone (on two occasions) and assured us he was a 'good guy" and that his wife is having issues. They offered me a free massage and said, "Usually when something like this happens, we offer a free massage". I am writing this on 4-12-25, so it's been almost a year, but I have never been able to shake the feeling that I should be telling this story. It was upsetting and a year later, I am still shaken. I should have pursed it further, but I was so horrified and sick to my stomach, I just wanted to get out of there and not talk about it. With all this being said, I just looked on their website and he is not listed as a masseuse, but is still in a group photo. In addition, he now has his own family wellness center in East Lansing. Even though he doesn't seem to be at CW anymore, I am writing this review because I think they knew he was creepy and didn't do anything about it. They didn't seem overly horrified at this accusation, defended him as a 'good guy' and said they'd talk to him and actually wanted e to return for a free service. This person took out his cell phone on two different occasions during a massage and they're not going to walk him out the door immediately? He stayed there for some time afterwards and I never heard back from them at all. I should have called the police immediately so it could be verified (either way) on his phone. I understand this review is serious, but it is written so you know what happened at this place and how they handled it. I have no idea what/if anything happened, but I hope to God there's not a video of me out there somewhere. What he did was unprofessional at best and created a serious concern about privacy, safety and every other single thing in the world. Note of interest: Looking all over their website, they don't seem to have a cell phone policy for their staff, so maybe they condone this. read more

Went there as a Birthday gift with my husband in August of 2021. The massage was okay and upon checking out my husband paid for them. Six months later we got bills, so called and shared the payment info to which we were told they would get it fixed. Fast forward almost 3 years we are still getting bills for the massages about every 6 months. We have made several calls and sent letters, yet they are continue to send us bills , which we do NOT owe. read more

I have now had two different appointments canceled. Both times i was informed when i showed up for my appointment. This last time they said they tried calling me. They did not leave a voicemail to let me know. 36 minutes after they attempted to call me they sent an email AND a text to confirm my appointment and to remind me to show up 10 minutes early. I even confirmed my appointment via email and no phone call after that. I am no longer going to even attempt. I am so beyond frustrated and can no longer waste my time.
