I went in for a fill, it had been 3+ weeks. I was told all the acrylic needed to be removed and new put on. I thought "Ok they look kinda rough". the technician proceeded to take off the acrylic and then started to clip down my long natural nail to put tips on. he got 2 before I stopped him. then after I told him I wanted rounded, he made them square and then cut them again to round them off. I have the shortest nails I've ever had. I won't be back and charged me $45. read more

Literally the fastest, most expensive , and worst pedicure ever . I asked for the deluxe pedicure and the paraffin wax she did not even let harden and I had dry wax on feet when I got home. It was $70 and not worth half of that . I will never go back ! read more

I went to get a mani/pedi for my wedding nails. The woman doing my nails cut the cuticles so short on my toenails that I wound up with an infected toenail. I wanted a couple add-ons (chrome, cuticles trimmed on fingernails) and she informed me of the prices, in which I agreed. She then stated, "Oh, you want to spend a lot of money on your nails today," to which I responded that these were my wedding nails and I wanted them to look nice. She filed my nails so narrow that the finger nail beds were painful the following 3 days. She also tore at my finger cuticles and I left with 4 bloody fingers. Not to mention, this appointment took 2+ hours, and the chrome on my toes is wearing off less than 36 hours later. I do not recommend Lynny nails. read more

Love this place. The nail was done by the salon manager, quashing, this is the second time he's done my nails. The first time was ombré, which was equally beautiful, though I love this dip so much more. The are meticulous, how do I know? Bevy I had 2 strokes and Quaa was gracious and thoughtful, that he would get off his cake and come around from the desk to file my nails and painted them. I told him that I had strokes and he was ver accommodating, just got me. That what you call a service beyond his job. Knowing I don't hsve the kind of mobility like my right Hsnd. He would do whatever they needs to accomplish the whole nail experience. Thank Quaa I will alway be coming to this location only. read more

Not the best experience. Went in with my daughter for manicures and pedicures, we both were very rushed and made to feel that we were interrupting their day. The woman who worked on me was very rough both with the pedicure and made me bleed with the manicure. My manicure lasted less than 24 hours, very disappointing as I paid $155.00 for both of us. I came in today with a friend and was happy with the customer service. My set was done fast and looks very good. Technically there are no problems with my set. The problem is it's not what I asked for. My nails looked well done and I appreciate the effort. When I was sat down I asked the tech if he could do these nails for me, he said yes, I told him if he could not I have other ideas to do he reassured me he could do it. The set I received was not close to what I asked for at all. I did not want to hurt the techs feelings so I paid him and left. I now have to go to another salon later in the week to get a polish change to something I actually want. read more

I went in to get dip with tips, when they started they said if i wanted my nails long I couldnt get dip. Which I know I can, so I agreed to just do acrylic even tho it kills your nails. They eventually ended up coaxing me into getting Gel powder. Everything was okay until they put gel nail polish on instead of normal polish ($10 difference). Then it cost me $5 to get almond shape. I love my nails and they look great, a little thin but I just wish I was able to get what I orginally wanted because I ended up spending $60 when I shouldnt have spent that much. I recommend getting your nails done here just make sure you know what you want! read more

I am so happy to have found this nail salon! It is beautiful! They have wonderful, talented nail techs that do not disappoint! I went to Jenny and she did such an amazing job on my nails. She kept the little length I had on my nails without filing them down too much and she took the time to find a color similar to the one I showed her in a picture! I called for an appointment that morning , and they fit me in right away. The interior was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The technician who did my pedicure was amazing and I'm kicking myself for not getting her name. Also I'm not sure what kind of sorcery they use there but my pedicure was over 2 weeks ago and my toes still look perfect. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm visiting Grand Ledge! read more

I came in with my best friend the day before her wedding. We had made appointments for two full sets. We got there and they had written down a full set of acrylic and one shellac. I was willing to walk out and do my own nails because the man who greeted us got a little short when we questioned why we only had one set. Long story short they fitted in my full set. My tech was an older lady, she was very curt and to the point, it was a little intimidating as I've never had a set of acrylic nails. She barked orders at me and really rushed through the application process, I know enough about nails to know that you push the cuticles back before adding the extension and she didn't so now a couple weeks later, they look super grown out and thick. I personally wouldn't come back to Lynny; but I gave them two stars because my friend's nails looked amazing for her wedding. read more

I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews because I work in the service industry and I know that people can be tough on businesses for no reason. However; I think if you are going to spend $100+ on nails, you should leave satisfied. I have had a couple of bad experiences here but they are close to home and we leave for Florida this week, so I tried again today. I called a week ago and made appointments for my daughter and I: "two pedicures, two manicures, and an eyebrow wax for me," is what I confirmed on the phone. Even with an appointment we had to wait with our feet in cold water for 20 minutes because they were overbooked. They rushed through both of us and I could tell they just wanted people in and out. My daughter got one color on her toes and told them she wanted a different color on her nails. But when she went to the table, the girl just put the same color on without asking what my daughter wanted (she is 7 so she felt too nervous to correct the nail tech). When I got done with my nails I said "I just need eyebrows too." and she said "well did you ask for that in your appointment??" As if I just decided on the spot to add more work for her (this happened last time I was here, too). She was not happy when I confirmed that yes, I did schedule eyebrows as well. She then rushed through my wax and hurried me out the door. I completely understand being busy and overwhelmed. But this was not an enjoyable experience. read more

It is pretty inside. But, I went in for a very simple dip nail removal and the girl did a terrible job. She sanded off the top with her drill and then had me put my hands in a bowl of acetone and cotton. She then told me to just move my fingers around until it came off and that was it. There is still glue and spots with color on them. Wish I could upload the picture to show you how bad my nails still look and how obvious it is that there is still stuff to be removed from my nails...it's on Google though. The girl was unfriendly...yanked my arm and scolded me for sitting in the wrong seat. Super disappointing. read more

My experience at this salon was amazing. It was clean, neat and very professional. Lynny does a beautiful job with nails. They look so real; not heavy or thick. Went there twice and both times I was waited on by a male who seemed to be the owner possibly. Both times I went he destroyed almost all of my fingers with the electric file making them bleed in multiple spots from cuts which took until my next fill to heal. Will never go there again. read more
