My partner and I both bought a Groupon with this company. He had to call and email a few times to get a response. He loved his moving experience with this company. I, however, called 5 times, left voicemails, and emailed with NO response. I had to cancel my Groupon and go with another company. It was really dodgy so I would be really on top of contacting them the weeks before your move. read more

Don't hire these movers unless you want to waste hours of your time and have them pack your things incorrectly. Who puts 2 tvs on the BACK of the truck? And yep, they fell off. I'm currently driving to my destination and have no idea what I'll find when I open the boxes to check them. From what I'm seeing on these reviews they're not even insured, so if they're broken or damaged in any way I'm completely screwed. They showed up late. Dustin brought his brother as the second person and he walked off the job because he's hard of hearing and felt Dustin was being mean to him. From what I'm reading it seems he was probably correct about that. My options were to wait for him to drive to Tacoma and get someone else. Which would have taken well over an hour or have him "go around and find someone else". He brought back a homeless man that he found a few streets over. Wish that man would have been the lead guy as he worked harder than the other 2. I also got charged an extra $100 and my friend and I had to move boxes while he was gone finding someone to try to hurry the process along. I didn't get paid for moving my own things but had to pay extra? He kept bragging about having "all 5 star reviews", which now I wish I would have let him show me so I would have known that I'd just been screwed over. I've moved MANY times and even I know that you don't put 2 large flat screen tvs in last. You put them towards the front and put them between some heavy objects. Especially when one is a plasma. He took pictures when they fell out, but I'm wondering why when I know I won't be reimbursed if they're damaged. He also blamed me for having "too much stuff for a 2 bedroom apartment". Oddly enough I had the same amount of things for my last move, minus one tv and had zero issues. But my entire car is currently filled with things that "didn't fit". And Dustin I dare you to even reply as I'll go into even more detail about this nightmare of what you call a move. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "COMPANY". Shame on Uhaul for even working with them. If I could give them zero stars I would. But it makes you give at least one. Negative stars in my opinion. Oh, and had he packed the tvs correctly he wouldn't have fallen on his ass. I am giving a 5 because I hired them 1 week before the move and they were a ton of help. Firstly, these are not - don't worry madam everything will be taken care of type of moving company. They are more like some uncles who provide the extra muscle to move heavy stuff. They were no young but they were efficient. Their business model is they meet you at your location and help load and unload your u-haul. I needed them because I got a massage chair and piano. They charged me about two guys at $100 per hour (required 2 hours) with additional ($150 for piano) and ($100 for massage chair). Because I helped me a bunch, they were willing to negotiate the price. Con - They don't provide insurance against them damaging stuff. They use their own health insurance incase they get hurt. There might be cheaper alternative - apparently someone offering $60/hr. Their communication style isn't gentlemanly (banter between employee and employer might not be everyone cup of tea) but they are fair and work hard. They don't provide a quote but more or less get me an estimate how much it would cost to move a certain amount of material. Because I was involved with the move - I was okay with hiring them for 4-5 hr and complete the rest on my own. Pro- They were helpful, they didn't goof around and packed the u-haul for me. The extra muscle was helpful and I am thankful they helped out. Their rate is reasonable compared to other people I called There is a discount if you pay in cash. read more

Dusty charged us for an extra hour and broke our washer. When we reached out he was very defense and unprofessional. We agreed that he pay us back for the extra hour he charged and give us 75 dollars for the washer (after he refused to get us a new one). We have still not received anything from him. I hired A+ movers through U-Haul in order to move my elderly mother and her friend from two separate apartments in one location to a two-bedroom apartment at another location. Dusten contacted me promptly, and maintained contact with me by phone right up to the start of the move. Dusten and his helper were EXTREMELY courteous, hard-working, and efficient throughout the six hour move. They checked in several times to make sure things were being loaded to my satisfaction, and upon arrival to the new location they made sure that items were being placed in the proper location. I highly recommend this company and I will re-hire them in a heartbeat if the need arises. read more

My moving company canceled on me last minute,I called a few company's but couldn't make it until the next day I called Dustin and he had just finished a job he came over on a abnormally hot day with Angela they worked really hard to unload a truck with a long carry ,they never complained once they both just worked so hard ,Dustin knows his biz and Angela at first I thought because she is a girl wouldn't work hard i was wrong she worked just as hard as Dustin very impressive..Thanks guys and you're rates are more than fair . read more

A+ Movers would never hire them again , first they showed up late , left 25 miearly after i paid for full 4 hours, through Uhaul! They are older guys that barely was able to pick our heavy furniture. They couldn't get our king mattress up ours stairs to ur bedroom , so they folded it in half and put a rope around it and still had to ask my husband to help them . Which is why i hired them in the first place , my husband has serious surgery and could not help them . They still called out to him on several heavy pieces to help ! I also had told them on the phone that i was only needing their help with heaviest items, they could have said at this time that they would not be able to do this , or at least get a third person to help them . I had to ask them to wait for our son to get there to help them as they were wore out and tired to finish . Lastly they ruined our mattress , it now has a huge long raised bump in the middle! They tried to say it was already like that and was a old mattress . The mattress was barely 2 years old and really does it matter they ruined it ! To replace it was 1500-2000 on sale 1500 . I said just refund us the 500 it cost to hire them and nope nothing , Uhaul got paid a percentage also and no responsibility. They were not insured nor bonded ! read more

I was initially given a verbal quote for a move and when I requested it in writing, the response was that they did everything over the phone and without seeing what was being moved, they could not give me an accurate quote. I insisted that an appointment be made because I needed the quote to be accurate and in writing. While Dusten agreed to the appointment, I was getting push back. He requested that I text him the date, time and location of the appointment to meet me at my storage unit. I did not receive a response to my text confirming the appointment. I was uncomfortable with the unprofessional demeanor so I canceled my appointment the next day. read more

We hired Dustin and Angela to move my elderly mother's belongings into a U-box for an interstate move to live with us. At the last minute she went into the hospital and we had to put the move on hold. They had no problem rescheduling for us, and when she recovered and we were ready to move her, they were available within one day. They had to pack as well, and were so fast and worked hard loading it up. Their rates were also very reasonable. I've moved numerous times in my life and have experience with all kinds of moving companies, including the big outfits. These guys were the best! read more

Everything went well until I tried to add an extra hour to their time. The moving help app was not clear and I ended up adding $270 more than I should have. Dusty first said he will bring me cash the next day, I agreed that it is "ok" for him to give me $240. The next day he called and said that he will send the money through Walmart. After he sent me the code he mention that it is only $200. I paid him for every minute he worked, and I paid to move a piano. This is how he treats his customers. I would not recommend! read more
