Really?

A good place. Plenty of parking and an unlikely award of one the best pizzas in the world! Pizzas are ok with soft runny top on thin base. Fair chicken and ok porketta sandwich 7/10. Consistent serving. Plenty of inside and outside seating.

I don't want to be mean but this wasn't worth $35-$40. The cheese didn't stick but the cheese was good. The cashier seemed new, and they were about to close but the cashier/host wasn't really helpful but was very polite and attentive. The restaurant itself was pretty big with many seats and a bar. I probably won't go during dinner again? I don't know but it was ok.

This place is a hit! We glad we listened to a recommendation and found this place. We had bruschetta which really good! The pizza we had Diavola, Prosciutto with Arugula and pepperoni. Everything was so good but my fave is Prosciutto with Arugula. The dough, taste and feels like am in Napoli again. We also ordered the lasagna, but I think it's not for our party. It's not bad but we just have high expectations. The staff were wonderful, really fast and they are there in the right time. The place was has its own character and charm from the outside to inside. Sittings are available outdoor and indoor. For sure we will go back!

Most authentic Italian pizza in the DMV. The numerous awards are well deserved. I ordered a 12 inch Margherita pizza. Great balance of sauce and cheese. The crust was crispy, not too thick, and brought me back to the years I lived in Italy. The flour is even shipped from Italy! The 12 inch feeds one person quite easily, but can also be shared for 2 with an appetizer. Service was friendly, genuine, and fast. Vibe was casual. While I only ordered pizza, I'll be back for happy hour! The wine selection looked impressive, and happy hour applies to whole menu!

A Modo Mio offers many food specials. For example, on Tuesdays, that's when we stopped there for dinner, all their pasta dishes are 1/2 price. However, given that they ranked 32nd among this country's top 50 Pizza restaurants, I had to order a pizza. And I'll get to my pizza after I discuss some other things, because it all plays together. Also, during my visit, I kept drawing comparisons between this place and Pupatella, a local Neapolitan pizza juggernaut. The Big Question to answer is why A Modo Mio got a spot on the Top 50 while Pupatella didn't even make the cut. Access is easy, and parking is good. There are lots of spaces that wrap around the restaurant. That's in contrast to Pupatell, which has limited parking and where I always wind up using the Safeway lot across the street. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating. It also has a long, well-stocked bar where you can sit to enjoy a beverage or a meal. Pupatella doesn't have any of that. When you arrive, you're greeted by a host who shows you to your seat. A very short while later, a waiter shows up and does all the things waiters do. At Pupatella, you wait in line to place your order, then find an open table. TLDR: Your dining experience, outside of the food, is much more civilized and relaxing at A Modo Mio. The pie that earned their 32 out of 50 ranking was the Sicilia. But I ordered a 12" Casertana because I'm not crazy about eggplant and like sausage. The pie arrived a short while later, piping hot and loaded with sausage. The taste was sublime and delicious. My only complaint was that the basil was added before baking, and I prefer that herb when it's not reduced to ash. So back to The Big Question, is the A Modo Mio pizza *that* much better than Pupatella that it earned a spot amongst the Top 50 while the other one didn't even make the cut? Frankly, it's not. It is good pizza... possibly great pizza. But that's also true of the other place. What sets A Modo Mio apart from that other place, and the answer to the Big Question, is that the criteria for generating the Top 50 list included more than the pizza. It also took into account: - Hospitality and Service - Ambiance - Beverage Program. Beyond the pizza, A Modo Mio has those things in abundance, while the other place pretty much has none. TLDR: Comparing pizzas side by side, the two places are on par. However, if you take into account the entire dining experience, you will be much happier with your pizza here, as opposed to that other place or most other pizza restaurants in the DMV area.

We keep coming back for more!! Amazing seafood pasta, al dente of course. Great pizzas, thin crust and light sauce and cheese like in Italy, great coffee (try the cold one shaken and served in a martini glass, can't remember the name), great Tiramisu. Everything here is delicious!

Meatball and eggplant pizza

I thought the pizza was pretty good, but a couple of them were a little more floppy than I would like. We saw four different pizzas to share meatball egg, eggplant, pesto, and prosciutto. My favorite was the prosciutto with the fresh arugula. I also enjoyed the pesto and burrata. We got the roasted broccoli and there's nothing special. Comes with free bread and olive oil didn't really enjoy it, since the bread was hard. We were there for someone's birthday and we got free Panna cotta and an ensemble to sing happy birthday. It was really cute. It was a good vibe to enjoy dinner together with friends.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the DMV. Authentic Italian food, exquisite and heavenly pizza, great melone con prosciutto, good minestrone, delicious seafood pasta (mussels are the freshest and best as well as all the seafood), best tiramisu and the Nutella pizza cannot be described because it's too good - just eat it! Of course these are my personal favorites and my family also went crazy for the gnocchi lasagna and everything else they had, they ordered again two days after - the exact same dishes. I understand then because they leave far and now they want to come back not just to see us but to go back to A Modo Mio the ambiance is fun and relaxed and the service is laidback efficient and friendly. Feels like home.

The pizza here is so tasty! We got a pizza that was half Arlington, and half Casertana, both great options! The food came out pretty promptly. The drinks were also strong in a good way. They give complimentary bread, which was nice to eat since we were all really hungry. Service was very helpful and great! The restaurant is a bit congested but it has the vibe of an old diner, which I liked. Their Happy Hour deals are great too, so would love to come back and try other dishes.

Pepperoni pizza

The flavors were there but the execution wasn't the greatest. I don't like my pizza to droop when I pick it up. Maybe if the crust were a little thicker with less grease it wouldn't droop. Sauce was watery but tasted good. The outer crust was perfect. I understand they purposely make it this way, just not my preference I guess.

The pizza that they make here is real authentic Italian Pizza. Everything from the dough, sauce, and imported ingredients. We ordered their supreme style pizza, and it was clear that they added way more veggies than what you would normally find on an average supreme type of pizza. I've had my fair share experience with authentic style pizzas, so you can take my word for it. We loved the supreme pizza that we had in the restaurant, we ordered a second pepperoni pizza to take home. My kids couldn't even wait to dig into the take home pizza, but I hope it is still as fresh if we re-heat it for tomorrow. We will see if the pizza even lasts that long in the fridge! The service was genuine and very friendly, and we all look forward to returning to ths restaurant soon.

I love this place, probably my favorite Neapolitan pizzeria in DMV. I like the variety of options, good sides and desserts as well. The staff is also very cheerful. They have specials on everyday with some days with half off pizzas. Check the website for details.

The quality is consistently excellent, and the pizza genuinely reminds me of being in New York. In fact, someone visiting us from New York tried it and absolutely loved it, which says a lot! We typically order online and pick up, and the entire experience has always been seamless. The online ordering process is easy, the pizza is ready on time, and our orders are always accurate. The staff are friendly and attentive when we arrive, and they're also very responsive whenever we call. The portions are incredibly generous! Their large pizza is huge, with slices that remind you of a classic New York pizzeria. One large pizza can easily feed four people if everyone has about two slices. We also tried their Brussels sprouts, and they were really good! They're a great addition to the pizza order. Between the authentic New York-style pizza, consistent quality, generous portions, and dependable customer service, Andy's Pizza has become one of our go-to places. I ordered a Margherita pizza for $13 and was not disappointed. It is a personal size pizza with 6 slices. To be clear, the pizza is high quality with fluffy dough and flavorful tomato sauce. The basil leaves were generous. The only reason for 4 stars was that there was so little mozzarella on this guy! For the pricepoint, you'd hope for a bit more. The mozzarella also is self contained so when it's gone, you feel like you are eating a marinara pizza... which isn't fun. So if you are a cheese lover, would pass.
