We used Ahron a few years ago for a tune up on our old garage door. When it was time to replace our door we reached out to him again. As always, Ahron was quick to respond and dropped by soon after our inquiry to talk through options and price range. He works on his own, and does an impeccable job. I didn't know it was possible - but we LOVE our garage door. Ahron helped us nail down exactly what we wanted and we're super happy. I would confidently recommend A.M.B Garage Doors to anyone. In fact our neighbor used him just a few weeks later for a new opener. Super nice guy and funny too! read more

I won't be calling any other garage door company from now on. Trust me, just call this one. I got inspection/quotes from a few other garage door shops before Isaac from Instant Garage Door Repair (AKA A.M.B. Garage Doors, they merged apparently). They all found the very obvious issue (door arm was missing) and said "yeah we'll need to replace the entire thing". Isaac actually open/closed the door a few times, looked where it might be catching or rubbing, checked the roller wheels and springs, door alignment, etc. Isaac very clearly knows garage doors -- and he delivered. He was able to service the main maintenance in like 40 minutes; it went from being impossible for my partner to open/close manually to being almost no effort (and it's a heavy door)! In addition, there was a broken and missing piece of plastic where the door arm normally connects... he was able to CUSTOM CRAFT a small piece of metal that fits perfectly into where the missing piece was, removing the need to replace the otherwise-functional system! All of this ran us half what other places quoted us for the full system replacement, and none of them even talked about realigning the door or upgrading rollers or anything, and he did it without needing to schedule another day. read more

My garage door problem had nothing to do with the garage door and everything to do with operator error! It was all my fault and he was kind enough not only not to laugh but not to charge me!! read more

Grant came over in the appt window, quickly diagnosed the issue, laid out the options for me with pricing, then had the new opener installed within an hour. Great service and I will call them again if I ever need support. read more

If only all service technicians were as awesome as Ahron. We had a spring break on us, and he came out within the hour after I solicited for a quote. Took care of the problem, taught us how to maintain the door going forward, and stuck to his original quote. On top of that he left me some HD440 and helped my wife sync up her new garage door clicked. 100% would work with again. read more

I had scheduled another company to come and replace an opener on Tuesday afternoon. I received a message that they would not be out until Wednesday morning. I cancelled them and called A.M.B.. Ahron said he could come Wednesday afternoon and install a new opener. Within the first 5 minuets he let me know that I did not need a new opener just some adjustments to the sensor. He inspected both doors and openers, lubed the trackes, made nessasary adjustments for way less money than a new opener cost. He was pleasent, honest and professional. When I do need a new opener I'm calling Ahron and so should you. read more

A easy 5-star review for Ahron. My garage door spring is broken And I got a reasonable quote from Ahron. Ahron responses to Yelp messages very fast. He answered lots of my questions during the fix. I would definitely recommend him to my friends. read more

AMB Garage Doors is THE only garage door company that I will use from now on. After receiving no call backs and/or no shows from other garage door companies, I am so thankful that I found AMB instead! It was almost a blessing in disguise that the other companies never called me back because if they have had, i would have never found AMB. Ahron, the owner/technician of AMB Garage Doors is honest, courteous and extremely knowledgable. In addition, he is fully licensed, bonded and insured. He decided to start his own business in 2015 after working for other garage door companies in the past. I admire and support small businesses, especially brand new, good businesses too! Anyways, I called AMB on a Saturday to get a quote on replacing a very old wooden garage door (manually open) and installing a garage door opener as well. Turned out, Ahron was on his day off, but was in the area, so he said he could come take a look and give me a quote! What a guy, giving me a quote on his day off!! He gave me a couple of brochures to choose what style and material of garage door I would like as well. A couple of weeks later, Ahron came and installed a brand new garage door as well as a brand new garage door opener. You could tell he really takes pride in his work and is very meticulous and does a quality job! The brand new garage door looks great and the opener is smooth. In addition, AMB uses LiftMaster garage door openers which are the best and are a contractor brand (not a Home Depot/Lowes product). Ahron and AMB Garage Doors is definitely your go to garage door company. He is prompt on calling you back, something that other companies have trouble doing. In addition, EXTREMELY reasonable on prices. Don't waste your time with other places and call AMB. I am so happy that I found this company!! read more

Ahron is the rare, professional, old school expert who is, both, extremely good at what he does and so personable and friendly that it makes needing his help with a garage door something to look forward to. He does the job right in the first place while actually standing behind his work to provide extra satisfaction and peace of mind. It's hard to find a great person and a great professional in one contractor, but he is that and he sets the bar high for all contractors. My two experiences with Ahron were, predictably, fantastic. Don't even think about hiring anyone else. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with AMB! I've been needing to replace my garage door openers for a while, but nearly every business I call needs to schedule an appointment just to provide me with a quote, and they can only do it when I'm at work. I found AMB on yelp and saw the great reviews and decided to call...and now I understand why they're so highly rated. Not only did Ahron provide me with a very reasonable quote over the phone (after confirming my install was straight forward), he even worked in the install for that same day, which was beyond my expectations. I appreciate that his pricing includes installation, so there really was no surprise or hassle. The installation was seamless. He replaced two openers in less than 3 hours, and even stuck around to show me how to connect the openers to my wifi and configure the new remotes. Ahron is very personable and respectful, and I would trust him to work on my garage even if I wasn't home. I will be calling AMB for any and all garage needs in the future. read more

Had a problem with my garage door not opening with my remote. Called AMB Garage Doors thinking it was an electrical problem. Aaron came out and diagnosed the problem immediately! It was not electrical but a broken spring. He replaced the spring mechanism in short order and it is working perfectly again. He provides a 5 year warranty as well. I am very impressed with his knowledge and great work. Highly recommend this company. read more

One of the struts was cracked and not apply enough pressure to fold the panel, causing problem to open/shut my garage door. Ahron did a great job fixing it. I like the way he deal with customers, honest, transparent and informative. We discussed the problem, solutions, details in rate and warrantee according to the video I shot, and he did exactly what he promised to do, got the work done with no surprise. He also helped maintained the spring for free and reduced the noises. I will definitely use Ahron's service again. read more

Amazing service with a reasonable price. We just had our garage door fail - hinge went bad. Aaron fit us in that evening and spent an hour remaking the hinge to temporarily work while he ordered another. Our garage door was not standard and we were very lucky he could find the part within a couple days. The regular hinges did not fit our door. 2nd visit he was able to replace the worn hinge with a new one, tune up our garage door tracks and screw drive. Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Goes above and beyond. We'll be using his company from here on out. read more

AMB responded to a garage door emergency promptly, diagnosed the issue quickly, and fixed it competently and at a reasonable price. I called Aaron on Friday afternoon after my garage door wouldn't close. For security reasons, we needed the problem solved quickly. Aaron came out within 30 minutes of the call to our location in West Seattle. Aaron looked over the situation and figure out the problem. He explained to me in clear terms what he was going to do and what the cost would be. He fixed the issue in less than an hour despite encountering unforeseen issues. Even though it took longer than it anticipated, he did not charge more than the original estimate. I highly recommend AMB for garage door repair. read more

I am so happy I found A.M.B. Doors! The company is honest, fairly priced, timely, responsive, and does good work. Ahron responded promptly to my email inquiry in which I described the problem. He provided his very reasonable pricing for a tune up and also explained that he could not give a price for repair work (I had a loose/disconnected cable) until he saw it gave me a free estimate. He responded promptly to multiple emails in which I sought assurances on possible pricing and he explained a few different scenarios to me through email. We scheduled a Sunday morning appointment. He arrived at the start of the scheduled 2 hour appointment window. When he examined the disconnected cable, he told me he would reattach it without charging more than quoted tune-up fee. He also pointed out aging components of my garage door, but recommended I hold off on replacing them for now because they didn't look like they would fail soon and with my older style aging door, replacement parts would not be cost effective (makes more sense to get a new door that is not water damaged and comes with all new hardware). He even replaced a couple missing bolts without charging any extra for them. After the tune up, my doors when from sounding clunky to nearly silent. Thank you Ahron! I will recommend you to others! read more

Highly recommend Ahron and A.M.B. Garage Doors. Ahron replaced our old garage door and did an superb job. Great price, excellent work, and good communication! read more

Ahron is awesome. We had him do a door service earlier in May and he was through and made the squeaks and rattles disappear. Yesterday, we had a door spring issue and he was onsite in several hours with an extremely quick and reasonable replacement. He also gave me a quick garage door tutorial. I would super definitely recommend AMB for anyone's garage door needs. read more

Ahron is responsive, friendly, and clearly knows the garage door repair business. Also he does not oversell by trying to recommend unnecessary repairs or service. In fact, I thought it would be a good idea to replace both torsion springs since one broke and they were the same age, but he felt it was not necessary. I have used AMB in the past and confident of his availability and ability read more

A.M.B. ftw! Ahron has an A++ attitude and provides service way above par. He ended up using his own materials stronger than what came included with my opener that I pre-purchased. It was also missing a small part out of box and Ahron went out of his way to call the vendor, and arranged for overnight delivery of the part. He was genuinely concerned that he couldn't finish installing in the same day but came back as soon as the part arrived, which wasn't a fault upon him at all. There are so many more steps than one would think to a garage door install and Ahron exceeds in all of them. Highly recommend; super service and value. read more

A.M.B Garage Doors - Finishing touches, saved the day. @AMBGarageDoors - Garage Door Services Near Me - Seattle, Washington

When you find an honest company that values customer service, you stick with them. I had him come out because my garage door would not close. When he came, it started working again?! I was super frustrated that it started working and I had wasted his time. He was so kind and professional. He checked everything out and all was good. When it came time to pay him, he told me that he wouldn't charge me because the garage door opener was working fine! I was shocked. I offered to pay but he said to just call him if it acts up again! Now is customer service and I will refer him to anyone that needs his services. M Thank you! read more

Ahron is the best! Contacted him recently because I needed a new garage door. I backed into ours and it was severely damaged. He came out, explained why we had been having door issues for years. I didn't feel sold, everything he said made sense. We needed a new rail system also. Parts were fast and the work was done quickly and for a whole lot less than I expected. Garage door was BEAUTIFUL. Was. Until I backed into it AGAIN. It was ruined. And jammed open. I called him immediately, crying, so mad at myself. It was 8pm and he came right over to close it. Ordered what ended up only being a few panels and in a short amount of time I had another beautiful door. I like Ahron a lot but I hope to never see him again unless it's at the coffee shop. He's really just a super nice guy doing a great job. read more

Let's start with the fact that my wife opened the garage door - via the garage door opener remote, forgot that she did it, pressed the button again and then drove out, causing the garage door to close on top of the back of our minivan. That's the good part and something I will use against her for months to come. Now the great part. My wife searched Yelp and found Ahron from A.M.B. Garage Doors. He showed up within the hour. He checked out our door and did an HONEST assessment that the door didn't need to be replaced. He then fixed the minor damage FREE OF CHARGE and the only thing he asked was to be my "Garage Door Guy". He is 100% going to be that. I'm not posting this review to have all of you ask for free stuff but rather, it's very rare I come across people who are so honest to not try and sell goods and services I didn't need. I will be scheduling with Ahron in the next month or two for my garage door maintenance (haven't had it for over 15 years and we are overdue) or any other issues I may have. Ahron - you are a rock star and a breath of fresh air! Great job!!! read more

Awesome service! Ahron adjusted his schedule to come out and help install a garage door opener on the same day. He was extremely pleasant & professional - providing me with lots of tips how to maintain our doors and charged a very reasonable rate! He greased the doors & tightened all screws. We never knew the door could be so quiet! If/when we need service on our doors I'll definitely call Ahron again! read more

Our garage door tension spring snapped with a crash and a bang. Phoned a few of garage door places finding AMB/Ahron's number. I cannot emphasize enough how responsive AMB's service is. Having called in the late afternoon, he'd arrived early evening of the same day and fixed it within an hour, even in the middle of holiday season. He's super courteous and professional - it's his business, he really gives a damn. We'll use him again for sure, and highly recommend him to anyone else looking for garage repairs, door replacements etc. read more

This is a long overdue review. A.M.B did a FANTASTIC job when I needed my garage door fixed the same day. And with the need to have it fixed the same day, Ahron offered me different timing options to accommodate my schedule. And since my home was built in 1924, the garage door is not a standard fix. His experience came into play and he was able to do it as promised and with a very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend A.M.B. to anyone needing garage door repairs or maintenance. I will definitely be calling Ahron back when it's time to replace my garage door. read more

Our garage door spring broke and AMB came out same day. They were the most affordable from the few other companies I called (word of warning: avoid companies that aren't local). Service was excellent, and the bill came out to the same as the quote. If you want great work with no hassles or surprises, look no further. read more

I called them on a Monday, and they had the job done by Wednesday the same week. It was for a rental house, so timing was super tight, but He moved things around to make it work. I hired them strictly based on the Yelp reviews, and it was with it. I actually didn't meet Ahron at all - I had the place on lockbox and had someone else pay, but the work was excellent and they were super communicative. I would use them again, and I would recommend their service to anyone. They may not come in with the lowest bid, but you won't have any headaches at all! read more

I've had Ahron work on my garage doors a few different times over the past few years, and needed his help again this week. I can't say enough about his level of service and expertise. Always prompt, always knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with. The highest level of integrity. Will tell you about the different options you have in terms of solutions, starting with the most reasonable to the more expensive options. How many people do we know that only give you the most expensive option...?! Too many. Not Ahron. You will never regret calling him if you have any garage door issues! read more

Ahron is such a nice person. We booked his services using Amazon Home Services and he was very responsive and communicative, which I really appreciated. We had a weird situation where we had just moved into a new house, and only one of the two garage doors had an automatic opener on it. Turns out there was a complicated reason for that. Ahron took a moment to assess the situation and then was able to figure out a way to make it work. Ultimately he had to offset the opener so it wasn't centered, but added a strut to make sure that everything would be sturdy enough. He is thorough and provides a lot of information to his customers so they can make an informed decision about how they want to proceed. AMB is affordable, reasonable, thorough and communicative - everything I'm looking for in a service provider. Recommend. read more

Ahron was very knowledgeable and helpful. He didn't have the parts for my garage door, but he still made the effort to come out to check out the damage. He clearly showed that he loves his job and cares for his customers. He knew I was in a price crunch (and replacing full garage doors isn't cheap). What I liked about him was that he even told me, straight up, that he wouldn't be the cheapest option and he was fine with me looking at other companies (especially since he didn't have the garage model/brand that I had). I sadly didn't choose AMB (as another company had the panels for my same garage door, therefore having me not replace the whole door). However, from what I got from our meeting was that he's an honest businessman. The fact that he was OK with telling me that he wouldn't be the cheapest option proved that he cares for people's best interests regardless. With that said, whenever anyone I know needs help with garage related needs, I'll definitely recommend him to others. Heck, if my garage door opener ends up not working in the long run....I'll definitely give him a call. read more

Great service, fast response time, quick work and the invoice matched the estimate!

I've had Ahron out 3 times now (once to install a whole new system, another time to adjust the force, and the last time for a broken spring) and every time he's been amazing. He gives fair quotes, sticks to what he promises, and gets the job done quickly and professionally. I called him this morning and he came out after I was off work same day. He always throws in extra tips on maintenance and is very honest if there is a cheaper way to fix something or if it can wait longer. Thanks Ahron! read more

I simply can't say enough good things about Ahron of A.M.B Garage Doors. He's true to his word and did a fantastic job replacing not just my garage door but all the associated hardware AND helping me reinstall my garage door opener. He's an easy going, friendly, and honest guy (no up selling scare-tactics here), and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any garage door repair/maintenance/improvement work you need. Oh, all that AND his pricing is very competitive - seriously, he should be your first call. (Though on that note, he's heading out of town shortly for a few months so if you can't get a hold of him, don't take it personally. If your plans/project allow, I believe it's worth waiting for his return.) read more

What a great/honest company! My garage door opener hasn't worked in years and the last company I called wanted $800 to replace the motor. I called Aaron at AMB Garage Doors today and he came a couple of hours later. After only 10 minutes my garage door (which has been unusable for 9 years) was fixed!! His bill was only $39 so I gave him a good tip which he deserved! He just left my home and I couldn't wait to leave excellent feedback for him. What a great honest professional company!! read more

I had a broken garage door spring on a Monday morning. First of all, I didn't know that I had a broken spring...only that my garage door was broken. I called a bunch of different companies to get an estimate. All of these companies said they would charge $29 to come in and take a look. When I called Ahron, he was the only one that helped me self diagnose the problem. It took a total of 2 min. Long story short, I had him come in and fix the spring. He was able to come by within a couple hours of my call. He explained every single aspect of the garage door to me and was super patient as I asked him questions. Turns out I even had a bad door opener trolley. He even helped me see the problem by taking the trolley down. He did not need to do it, but he decided to go out of his way and help. Ahron is not the cheapest when it comes to garage door fixes, but he's great at what he does. Highly recommend! read more

Ahron is a total pro. He was quick to respond to my Yelp inquiry, offered to come earlier than our scheduled appointment, and made himself available to install shortly after our initial discussion. His finished work is phenomenal!! We went from a dented, clunky metal garage door to a gorgeous, silent, motorized door. We couldn't be more impressed with the final product or the excellent and friendly service Ahron provided. If you're looking for garage door work, this is definitely your guy! read more
