    He is missing hair

This place was recommended to us by friends. We were able to get a quick response for a consultation and meet session. So far so good. My dog is fearful and reactive of other dogs. Knowing this Jennifer recommend we put him into her daycare and that is where it all went downhill. After the first day, as soon as I got home I noticed there were scratches and hair missing on his face, which shows neglect. I had to then text Jennifer for an answer since she did not give me one until I reached out. The more I would take him to her daycare the worse his anxiety and fear towards other dogs got. I had reached out to Jennifer multiple times to get a session with her to for help on his leash aggression and anxiety and the responses I would get we're "definitely let's schedule something" and never did anything from her end. Based on my experience I would not be recommending this places. Part 2: in response to Jennifer: Let me clarify your so called "records".. it's very impossible to be a client from 3 years ago given my dog is only 1.5 years old and hasn't been alive that long. Also, I have not lived in the area more than a year. That's your first mistake. Second, since my dog is with me day and night it's hard for him to belong to a different owner. Lie #2 Thirdly, my dog didn't come or has never had scratches cuts or bruises on him EVER, being at your location is the only times he has come home with them. Fourth, we only had one session with you ever. And I took my dog to your daycare for 3 months straight, to get his behavior and anxiety based on your recommendation that by going to you consistently, he would get better. Lastly, if he was not progressing you lied and continually lied that he did sooooooo great and had fun every time based on your status report you would give verbally the few times I saw you. Because more than half the time it's was your daughter assisting with drop off and pick ups. My last straw was just seeing that my dog was pulling away from you to not be at your "fun" daycare and according to you all the dogs "loved" him. Seems like everything said here is contradictory to what was said in person. I'm a person to believe in giving things an opportunity but not when my dog is miserable and it shows on his face and attitude.

Teddy had his first grooming today by the Marvelous Miss Jane at the new Penryn location. He had a wonderful time and looks amazing. I seriously love the fact that they take one dog at a time and gave him the full spa treatment. He looks just as I expected but cuter. We talked about length, what to do with his tail and how to highlight those ears. Jennifer Wilson even gave me points on how to get him to stop barking when he wants my attention. He learns fast and now it's on me to keep it up. When I picked him up they did a quick mani pedi on my senior chihuahua and she didn't hardly fuss. I am so glad they have moved into our little neighborhood. If you are looking for an amazing grooming salon, stop here first. Thank you Jane and Jennifer for making this a great experience. We will see you again!

I absolutely love that I found the cutest place to board my dog. Jennifer is so wonderful, I felt really confident leaving my dog here for 9 days. What I love most is that she has a huge property where the dogs are free to roam and make friends with the other dogs visiting or they can settle into the shade for a quiet rest, like mine likes to. Jennifer posts videos and photos to her instagram account, so you can check in on your dog! She even has he cutest donkeys. The place is just gorgeous...and you can tell Jennifer and her family really love the dogs!

It took me a long Time to find a Dog Boarding place I was comfortable with. I did a lot of research…read moreon all of the local options. Like many others my dog is a member of my family... One of my children... A for baby. Camp Lisa Dog Boarding came recommended by a friend. After speaking with Lisa I was impressed with not only her professionalism but The questions she had for me. This showed me that she truly cared that the dogs she took in were a right fit for her boarding facility. Upon arrival I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It was a luxury hotel for dogs. The facility offers radiant heat flooring, beautiful large expanded dog runs that are always open for the dogs to roam yet protected from any predators, with a constant fresh air flow, relaxing music, clean water, and much more. Lisa takes the time to get to know the dogs personality in order to match them up before putting them in their own space with other dogs. This was very important for me as I did not want my dog to be without "friends". The years of experience and knowledge Lisa has I found invaluable. The passion she has for animals shows in her work and in her beautiful facility. Hands-down this is the best Dog Boarding option in the Tri-County area if not further. I could not recommend this place more. I'm fairly certain my for baby was a bit disappointed when I picked her up and she was having the time of her life during her stay and will be excited to return when I plan another trip.

The reviews here seem to be glowingly positive and I wanted to support a local business. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed. My concerns and reason for visit were consistently not taken seriously. For example, when I brought my pet in with upper respiratory issues, I was told "it's not that bad." Well, if ignored, it is actually /is/ that bad. Repeatedly, I sensed a hesitancy to treat my pets' issues proactively, and found the bedside manner here to be sorely lacking. I brought in my pet with symptoms consistent with an upper respiratory infection. Instead of any antibiotics, I was prescribed steroids and an inhaler, which were consistently ineffective. Unfortunately, I allowed this to go on for far too long at this vet and should have listened to my instincts. Three months into this treatment (still without antibiotics), I was told that since my pet didn't respond to steroids, "it's probably cancer" and told to get in with a specialist asap (and that it would be many thousands of dollars). I'll admit I do not have a PhD, but this doesn't seem like very scientific diagnostic criteria to leap to cancer. I fully acknowledge that the realm of veterinary medicine is vast and we still don't know that much about the body in the grand scheme of things, but being consistently ignored and then leaping directly to cancer seems like a stretch. I sought a second opinion at my previous vet, who agreed that leaping to cancer without diagnostics was kind of cruel to my mental health. They promptly issued antibiotics. I also scheduled an appointment with internal medicine elsewhere out of fear from hearing the "cancer" word thrown around. Sure enough, there was a bacterial infection that should have been treated with antibiotics. Due to the delays and not prescribing an antibiotic, the bacterial infection was allowed to go on far too long, resulting in bony destruction. Despite the vet claiming I needed to urgently get my pet in with internal medicine, we still experienced lengthy delays getting copies of my pet's medical records--unfortunately, many internal medicine specialists will not schedule an appointment with you until they've received the records from the prior vet, which just led to further delays. The poor communication, poor attitude, and poor bedside manner further tanked my opinion of my experiences here. Dropping the "cancer" bomb on me with no diagnostics--rude and poorly handled, honestly. I also felt like there was a consistent attitude against me wanting to see the pricing before agreeing to treatment. It should be noted that I agreed to the treatments, however, we all know that in the veterinary and medical world, sometimes there's sticker shock when you see the price. I'd prefer transparency. Asking to see the pricing before committing to expensive treatment seemed to earn quite a few huffs and puffs from staff and the doctor. Overall, my biggest lesson learned here is to get a second opinion, particularly when the symptoms are downplayed for far too long and then the diagnosis suddenly leaps from "asthma" to "cancer." Trust your gut. This is just one example (definitely the most expensive) of my experiences here, but they were consistent enough for me to feel that this was a pattern.
