Camp Lisa is an amazing boarding facility! The cage free concept allowed my Skylar pup to feel comfortable. The kennels are great because they allow access to inside and outside zones. Skylar was carefully placed with other dogs that were her size and age. When we picked up Skylar she was happy and appeared clean. A couple days later, I took her to a vet appointment, and she was very social with other dogs. This was not like her at all! Camp Lisa actually helped my dog become socialized. I will be bringing her back to Camp Lisa! I have recommended this place to friends. I feel lucky that this place is in our community. Thank you Camp Lisa for making sure our Skylar was well cared for! read more

If you're looking for the best quality boarding experience for your dog, Camp Lisa is excellent! Lisa's prices are affordable and she really knows dogs! This is the best facility around! read more

I just called to see if I could board my dogs here for a weekend and when asked my dogs breed, was told that they don't accept any bully breeds and that my best bet was to board her at a veterinary hospital. I hate that my dog is judged before ever even meeting her or being given the opportunity to do a test day to see how she does. I've attached a photo of her at her doggie day care, cuddled up with a cat and laying down next to a boxer with degenerative myelopathy just to show you how sweet she is. I hate that they judged her based on her breed. read more

So happy we found Camp Lisa! Sedona gets a vacation when we get a vacation! We were fortunate to find Camp Lisa on our way to Reno as Camp Lisa is right off I-80. Beautiful property for boarding. Large room where dogs can mingle and play and roam outside with other dogs! She is always happy to arrive! Cageless boarding with wonderful staff who love the babies. Dogs of all breeds and sizes all there in separate areas by size and age. Lisa is wonderful with them all. She doesn't accept all dogs. Dogs must come in for a meet up with Lisa to make sure your dog will fit in with her large pack. No aggressive dogs. Shots must be up to date to. She requires this to protect all the dogs. So far Sedona has been there several times and I feel so happy she is having fun and not in a crate like the majority of dog boarding places. We highly recommend Camp Lisa! read more

I boarded my Great Dane here recently and it was a great experience for both him and I! He's a rambunctious 15 month old who can be more than a bit of a handful sometimes. My husband and I were nervous leaving him in someone else's care for the first time. We actually checked out another boarding place that was, basically, what nightmares are made of. When we walked into Camp Lisa all of our fears washed away. This facility is so clean, spacious and professional! It is a business ran by someone who cares. When we picked up our boy after 2 days he was a happy boy. He slept so good that day after having fun running fences beside other dogs. I never thought boarding my dog could feel so safe and secure. I have already booked him for another few days next month. I am so happy to have found such a great babysitter for my pup! read more

This was my first time leaving my Frenchie at a boarding facility, and I don't trust him with very many people, so I was anxious the night before dropping him off. I left feeling SO reassured and my anxiety completely disappeared; I knew he was in good hands :) The staff was extremely respectful, friendly, and down to earth. The day I picked him up, he looked like he was having the best time with the other dogs. I brought him home and he slept most of the day; he was exhausted from all the fun he had!! I will definitely be bringing my dog back here! Thank you Camp Lisa! read more

We feel so fortunate to have found Camp Lisa for boarding our GSP. We have tried many, many other boarding places and none of them can even compare. Her place is clean, allows the dogs to go in and out as needed and gives them safe playtime with other dogs. Our GSP loves the outdoors and needs daily exercise and mental stimulation in order to tire her out and we can tell when picking her up that is exactly what she is getting here. We love that she can come in and lay down during the day if she wants as well. Would highly recommend read more

It took me a long Time to find a Dog Boarding place I was comfortable with. I did a lot of research on all of the local options. Like many others my dog is a member of my family... One of my children... A for baby. Camp Lisa Dog Boarding came recommended by a friend. After speaking with Lisa I was impressed with not only her professionalism but The questions she had for me. This showed me that she truly cared that the dogs she took in were a right fit for her boarding facility. Upon arrival I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It was a luxury hotel for dogs. The facility offers radiant heat flooring, beautiful large expanded dog runs that are always open for the dogs to roam yet protected from any predators, with a constant fresh air flow, relaxing music, clean water, and much more. Lisa takes the time to get to know the dogs personality in order to match them up before putting them in their own space with other dogs. This was very important for me as I did not want my dog to be without "friends". The years of experience and knowledge Lisa has I found invaluable. The passion she has for animals shows in her work and in her beautiful facility. Hands-down this is the best Dog Boarding option in the Tri-County area if not further. I could not recommend this place more. I'm fairly certain my for baby was a bit disappointed when I picked her up and she was having the time of her life during her stay and will be excited to return when I plan another trip. read more

Lisa provided excellent care and accommodations for our dog. Her kennel has well designed cover and easy access to a large run for your furry friend. A real plus is her obvious knowledge of animals and how to properly care for them. You can't go wrong boarding your animal with her! read more

I needed last minute day care for my min pin. I called Lisa's minutes before closing. She explained what I'd need to do, then she'd look for my application online. In summary, I was able to get my dog boarded the next day, easy location and very reasonable rate. The facility is clean, organized and she is very much in control. A good, clean, safe place for your fur baby.. read more

Camp Lisa is a hidden gem. I had been looking for a new cage free dog boarding for our dog after a bad experience at a previous cage free place. We recently left our dog at Camp Lisas for 8 nights. I'm always nervous when we go away. I called and checked on him after a couple of nights. Lisa made me feel very comfortable and assured he was doing great. Because of this I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. I did not feel I needed to check on him for the rest of my vacation.. When we picked him up he was pooped out from all the activity. I am very happy with the overall experience. Happy dog=Very happy owner. We will DEFINITELY use Camp Lisa again. read more

Camp Lisa - This is my dog so exhausted. It took him over 2 days to recover. :-) - Pet Boarding Near Me - Newcastle, California

Camp Lisa is bar none the best boarding facility we have taken our large dog to and now I won't take him anywhere else. I know that when he is at camp he is safe, having a blast, and coming home tuckered out! The dogs have great indoor and outdoor space and cage-less boarding works so well for our social pup. I couldn't recommend a better boarding or daycare service! read more

We have left our dog at Camp Lisa several times now and we have been so happy with the care and attention she has received. The staff is positive and professional and takes notes on any special instructions or diet need you may have. They are great to show you around and exactly what your dog will be experiencing and they are wonderful to answer any and all the questions you may have. We are leaving our dog for two weeks this month and we have several trips and events planned this year where our dog will be at her home away from home! Thanks Camp Lisa! read more

We are so thankful to have Camp Lisa in our area. We tried several places for boarding in the past but were not happy with the experience. We were looking for something better for our fur babies. I heard from several friends and neighbors who raved about the staff at Camp Lisa. We were very impressed with Camp Lisa during our initial visit and knew this was the place! Our dogs have such a blast there when we go on vacation, and are wiped out from all of the play time. We love knowing that they are in a safe place, are enjoying play time with similar personality types, and are well taken care of while we are gone. I cannot recommend Camp Lisa enough! read more

We would definitely give Camp Lisa cage free boarding 10 stars if we could. Lisa and her assistants, Tyler & Casey, are upbeat, happy and lovingly take care of our three pups - Camp Lisa has been a real Godsend for all of us. What a wonderful clean, odor-free custom facility! Kodi, Riley & Bailey simply love it there!! They get the chance to socialize with others similar-size pups in a safe environment... we're very protective of our little ones and have been dedicated to staying with them the last 2-1/2 years. It's been hard letting them go, but we knew it was time... somewhat like having our first child leave the nest - very frightening. But leaving them in the care of the Camp Lisa team has been a real treat for us all. Our community needs more places like this to leave our beloved pets, confident that they are in experienced, loving hands. read more

Camp Lisa is amazing. My dog always has so much fun there. He gets excited when we start driving down the road to camp Lisa. Love that he doesn't come home stinky like a regular kennel. My dog is very fearful of new settings so I wasn't sure how he would do being boarded. Lisa and Tyler worked with me to develop a plan of how to introduce my dog to the facility. We did 2 trials (one during the day and an overnight). They reassured me that he would be fine. On the day I was supposed to drop him off for my trip, he had some intestinal issues. Lisa once again reassured me that everything would be ok. And she was right. He did great. I now have a place to send him when I need pet boarding. I can't recommend them enough! Lisa is so good at knowing what the dog needs and working with a nervous pet owner like myself!! This place is very clean, all the dogs seem happy and well cared for. read more

This was our first ever boarding experience for our dog. We met with Tyler in advance to make sure this was a good fit for all parties. Tyler was helpful... seemed like he loved the dogs and wanted to be there. We left happy and confident our dog would be in good hands. The time came for us to drop off our dog and Lisa "greeted us". Never having boarded our dog before we didn't know what to expect. She quickly took our dog, put him in the kennel. We went to say goodbye and she told us we should have already done that. Unfortunately the drop off experience was cold and honestly, uncomfortable. One of my daughters was actually crying from the experience. We left unsure if we made the right choice. Then came the time for us to pick up our dog and we were so excited to see him. We were greeted by Lisa out front with our dog on a leash... she was (in a very rude way) telling us to put our dog in the car. No please. No thank you. It was very uncomfortable. Our dog was happy to see us and he looked happy and cared for, however we will not be going back based on the lack of people skills/rudeness we received from the owner. read more

We went on a two week vacation and had our dog Cooper boarded at Camp Lisa. The staff is very friendly and cares a lot about your pets. Our dog was so tired from playing with with his buddies he sleep for two days. I called a few time to make sure he was doing good They told me how he was doing and and breeds of dogs he was with . They put him with dogs his age. I don't think he was not ready to leave. We will be us Camp Lisa again! read more

Camp Lisa staff are great and my dog loves it here - I've used them for my out of town trips for 10 months or so now. Beautiful facility and my dog always comes back tired and happy. Lisa was wonderful. I am very picky about who I keep my dog with as he had never been boarded and I would take him back to camp Lisa again. My two dogs have stayed at Camp Lisa a multiple occasions. I just picked them up today and they had an amazing Christmas stay with Lisa! Amazing dog boarding facility, recommended by a friend who uses this place routinely!! Family owned and run business on owner's private property. Lisa, Tyler, Cody, & Casey all amazing with the dogs and great at matching them with other dogs during their stay. Cleanest dog boarding facility we've ever seen!! No smell of urine or excrement inside facility or on dogs - even after a 9 night stay!! Staff super responsive to this nervous owner who had never boarded these two dogs. Max & Murphie seemed happy and well cared for upon pick up after their stay! So grateful for their diligent care and timely responsiveness to texts while we were in Florida for our daughter's college graduation. We were nervous to leave them since we usually RV and have them with us. This facility is worth the time to check out, reasonably priced, and Lisa offers a military discount (super gracious - thank you). Also great for day care for dog socialization. Beautiful and well thought-out facility!!! Thanks again all for everything!! read more

Camp Lisa is AWESOME! We have a 4 year-old female GSD who had never experienced cage-free boarding, so we really didn't know what to expect & although Destiny has boarded elsewhere & gets along with most dogs, it's always nerve-wracking @ a new place. Lisa put our minds @ ease by meeting with us & Destiny ahead of time. Destiny did well & we were truly impressed by the cleanliness of her facility & the space with which the dogs have to run, play & rest. We knew right away that this would be our new favorite place to board her. Lisa has very comparable prices, is highly knowledgeable & instinctive of dogs & their behaviors & truly seems to care about each & every one of her guests. Her property is very well-maintained, easy to find; located off of Newcastle Rd. & can be admired from I-80 as well. All I can say is, WE WILL BE BACK! THANK YOU LISA! read more

I have been bringing dogs to Camp Lisa since it began, and it has always been a very happy and safe place for dogs. Lisa is careful to take breeds and individuals who "play well with others," and who enjoy the freedom of a big green lawn and a bunch of nice doggie pals. She feeds high quality food and is very aware of each individual client's health and happiness. She has the space and facilities to separate out older or smaller dogs who are happier with their specific peer group. I would recommend Lisa's care to anyone who loves their dog! read more

I highly recommend Camp Lisa. I take my one year old here and feel very comfortable that he is in the best hands when I leave. Lisa is very knowledgeable with with dogs and their needs. The indoors is very clean and spacious. The floors are heated to keep him warm at night. The outdoors is very large with lots of room to play and run. I love that fact that she matches him with other dogs of his energy level. When I drop him off he is very excited to go inside, good sign he is happy to be there!!! A bonus, this is Lisa's home and property, so she is there unlike other boarding places that leave at night. read more

I had previously met with Camp Lisa and a number of local kennels in the event I needed to board my border collie dogs. Camp Lisa was very impressive. There were no smells of urine, the dogs are cage free, the building where they are housed in was amazing! This place far exceeded the other kennels. This weekend I found myself in a panic when I needed to go out of town unexpectedly. I quickly called Camp Lisa and she worked with me to get my paperwork completed, vaccine records in order and all done in time to drop off my pups before they closed for the evening. When I picked up my pups the following day I was so relieved to see how happy they were, they were not stressed, they seemed to have enjoyed themselves and that made for a VERY HAPPY mom! Thank you Camp Lisa for caring for my precious pups and taking such good care of them. We will be back! read more

HI have just picked up my 12 year old Lab / Pointer mix from his 2nd visit at Camp Lisa. Once again, he was happy, healthy, and really looked like he was having a ball with his pals. Coming into his visit he had experienced leash aggression in the past and really didn't do well with other kennels. Lisa quickly made sure he was comfortable and part of the pack. She seemed to know all the dogs and their individual personalities which is certainly impressive. I would highly recommend this for dog owners who's pooch does better off leash and free. read more

So we had a medical emergency come up and I knew we would be a few days in the hospital. Our fur friend needed to be boarded and we have always had great experience with Camp Lisa. I called and she was willing and able to take him in right away as I rushed to the hospital. Came back a few days later after discharge from the hospital and everything was as it should be. Dog was happy, clean and treated as he is at home (spoiled). She didnt charge me anything extra or outside the normal rate. Camp Lisa was a blessing for us and I am so thankful for her. We have been taking our dog to Camp Lisa for a couple of years, from over nights, a few days, or once for three weeks. She is great, dog is happy there. The place is clean and spacious. Lisa is a nice woman and takes good care of us. Camp Lisa is the BEST and our young Golden loves it there. The facilities are clean, the staff friendly, and they all truly care about all of the dogs. There's both indoor and outdoor areas where dogs are well taken care of. The main indoor area is temperature controlled for both summer and winter. We've used them for day and overnight boarding and never worry about our dog being treated anything but wonderfulyl. BEWARE! I have left my dog with OTHER free range boarding places and it has always come back happy and excited. My dog loves other dogs, people, etc...HOWEVER, I recently left my dog at Camp Lisa for a number of days and it came back extremely different and very fearful. I immediately knew that something was wrong. I spent several days trying to figure out what was wrong and it wasn't until several weeks that my pup returned back to its normal self. After reading reviews of her kicking dogs and observing how she treats people, I would caution ANYONE against boarding their dog at this place. Take the way that the owner treats people as a tip of the iceberg as to how she might treat your dog. No way! read more
