We have boarded three of our dogs here several times, and we've been very happy with their service. They have beautiful grounds, and the staff spends a lot of time interacting with the dogs, which we really appreciate. They also allowed our dogs to board together even though they are very different in size, but they're buddies and do much better together. Our dogs are always happy when we pick them up, and that says a lot. Thank you guys for taking such great care of our dudes! read more

Boarding! As a very picky wiener dog mama, I don't trust just anyone with my little one--but All Pets Boarding has been amazing. Knowing my dog is somewhere safe, comfortable, and well cared for gives me real peace of mind. One of the things I appreciate most is how close it is to home, which makes drop-offs and pickups super convenient. The ownership and staff are fantastic--they clearly care about the animals and make the whole process feel easy and welcoming. Every experience has been smooth and stress-free, from check-in to pickup. My pup always comes home happy, which tells me everything I need to know. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy place to board your pet, especially if you're a picky pet parent like me, I highly recommend All Pets Boarding! read more

we take our 2 cats and we know they are well taken care of. Very nice place, very clean.

First time I ever had to board my cats - three of them. One of them is not social so I was concerned about how he would be. The Cat house is clean and comfy. No bad smells. Lots of TLC. They each had their own "Condo". When I picked them up, they were calm. When they got home, they were fine. Not traumatized at all. Great care!! read more

So disappointed; a huge expense, my two cat brothers are a smelly mess, and I'm not going back. They denied that I made a call from Budapest, Hungary, with a request to please brush out my cats before pick-up. This, after I was informed on that same call that they do not bath/groom cats and then telling me all they will do is brush them. Beautiful surroundings and the kitty condos themselves, but it's the staff starting with Reception that convinced me I had made a mistake by boarding my cats there for two weeks. Lot's of great reviews for this business, so you be the judge... read more

I had used them years ago for 2 of my dogs. Apparently they dug out of the kennel but I was not called about this. When I called that evening to set up a pick up time, the owner then informed me that they dug out... to clarify I said.."you mean they aren't there?!" No they had not been there ALL DAY! The owner just said "they will come back". My family and I set out to find them though no luck as it was dark now. We were back at it the next morning and checking local shelters and vet hospitals. We found out from animal control that my golden retriever had been hit and killed and my other dog was found laying next to him (physically unharmed though completely broken hearted as he was old and blind and my young golden took care of him and was his eyes.) If I had only been contacted right away maybe we could have found them.. Even after all these years, it still breaks my heart. The owner did refund my payment but nothing could replace our precious young boy. read more

It is good place to go, prices are reasonable and they help in last minute need, I used them twice, my only problem was, first time I got my dog back wet, apparently another big dog peed on him, second time he got injured at his back close to his tail, it got infected and cost me close to $500 in vet bill. I normally try not to leave my dog anywhere, but if I have to I will use their service read more

The young people are amazingly dedicated to caring for my Abigail! Highly recommend this boarding care!

I took my dog here because my usual boarding place was full. I went there with my dog a few days before to check it out. It was shocking how many dogs were there. Looked more like herding cattle. Several are together in a pen, which doesn't open to the outside. I brought and labeled my own food though they said I didn't need to and put each meal in a separate ziplock as they required. When I picked her up early I expected a few bags to be left over but there were more bags than there should have been. Did she not have a couple of meals? Unfortunately, I left before I notice that. I will not be back. Indifferent staff and very expensive for what they offer. read more

We found this place online to take our 11yr Basset Hound to for almost 2 weeks while we wed and honeymooned out of state. The only updates we received were from a caring & attentive employee Andre. He let us know Mia was stressed and not eating. We DoorDashed wet food & chicken jerky to help with her loss of appetite. When we got back, our invoice said on an attached note from Heidi: "Mia Barks way too much! DO NOT RETURN; Recommends rover or care.com where they come to you. Heidi" We received NOT ONE CALL about Our dog barking "way too much". As an older dog w/ Addison's disease (doesn't produce stress hormones on her own) I would think an animal boarding facility would have more caring people working for & looking after peoples animals while they're away. It looked like a sad dog pound or jail when we dropped her off and if she was barking for attention, why not give her a pat of take her for an evening walk that we paid for? I am not recommending or would think to return to this business. Their customer service and animal care need a lot of improvement. The added attached note was so rude and unnecessary. I honestly feel like our dog was neglected while we were gone. read more

I have taken my pup here whom I love VERY much and I feel good about leaving him here. He has stayed here about 4 times; and is booked for 2 future stays. They book me VIA Email correspondence which is convenient and keeps a paper trail. At this point the staff knows Skeeter by name and he gets excited to see them; its really awesome. he is always clean and unscaved when my husband and I pick him up. This place is located on a nice chunk of land and the people are super nice. I feel that they take very good care of my dog. I would suggest boarding inside rather than out; they get let out 2- 3 times a day for potty and play time( if you elect to let your pet play with others). One thing I do not like is that they let all the dogs play together; supervised of course... this just scares me; you never know the temperament of other dogs and god forbid if something happens. Anyways; they are worth a try for your furry friend and reasonable on price; I have a big dog; kenneled inside for about $36.00 a day. read more

Never boarded a cat before. Our 1 year old COVID kitty is used to us home. She can act out when we leave for short bits pulling up carpet, climbing an 15 foot ledge.....needless to say I was worried about leaving Miss Mischief at home. But I felt very conflicted that she would be caged. Not the case here! Nice large multi level condos where my kitty could have neighbors, places to hide, and gets pets a few times a day and let out. They ask ahead of time and assess she's calm and good with our dog. Pam was so sweet and you could tell she loves what she does. They allow you to have feeding instructions and I was able to bring her bed and suckle blanket. Pam even said I could call and check in. We booked for next trip! read more

No stars for this company very disappointed with the care of my dog. When leaving my dog I indicated that the harness should remain on our 75 pound bulky dog because that's how we trained him. They removed his harness according to the lady I just spoke to therefore our dog of course listen or understand the commands - I did not receive any calls from them letting me know that they were having trouble with him so when I picked him up and as soon as I walked in door the lady told me that our dog was no longer welcome there because he didn't listen and then I noticed his harness was put on wrong - I called them immediately to let them know and no apologies nothing I just got off phone with manager right now to voice my concerns and was very rude and disrespectful of course trying to cover up of there incompetence- be aware don't leave your dog there it's better to find another place that can truly take care of your doggy!! read more

Was in a serious car accident with my dog in the car and we were not close to family. Ended up needing emergency surgery on my leg that same night. My dog was in the car with me but ended up being completely fine. We were calling all around frantically to find him somewhere to stay for the night and got rejected by a few (they had valid reasons). I was already having a lot going on but I'm very close to my dog (who is my ESA). I was so worried about him possibly having internal issues even though they were not apparent and him being through so much and then being separated from me in a new place. I didn't have too much interaction with the owner because I was on heavy drugs but I appreciate them so much for not only helping out but making special accommodations for my situation. They also got back to me in the morning letting me know that he did not have any signs of internal problems and let me know how he was. When we went to pick him up he seemed happy. The property was beautiful. Again, didn't have much time to really talk with them but literally 90% of my stress wasn't even that I was in a car accident or that my leg is shattered but that my dog was away from me. Our 2 small dogs Benny & Frankie have been staying at All Pets Resort for a few years now and they absolutely love their time there! It's like "doggy Disneyland" to them. Their tails start wagging as soon as we drive through the front gate and over the bridge at the entrance. Denise and the front desk ladies are always friendly and welcoming. The staff are so caring and sweet to all the pets. They have so many enriching activities and comfort options during their stay (TLC, doggie massage, playtime, kong toys, baths, etc.) It is comforting to know that our dogs are so well cared for at All Pets Resort, it gives us peace of mind while we're away. read more

There's not enough to say about this place. We were in a relocation dilemma after we moved from the Bay Area. The temporary housing we had hoped to stay in with our two indoor cats fell through. Thankfully we ended up staying with my sister who is a dog owner. Our cats were homeless as we were still waiting to sell our home and find our new place in Auburn. After spending hours on the phone calling other boarding homes in the area we just couldn't find one we felt good about to take care of our senior kitties ,or could afford for that matter. My sister in law told us to check out ALL PETS RESORT. We are soo glad we did. The staff was warm and welcoming from the first call. They were willing to board the cats right away and made it very streamline easy. As soon as we drove in we felt good about our decision. The place was professional and super clean. We thought we would only be boarding cats for a two weeks ended up being a couple of months. We would get 2 to 3 calls a week to give us updates and feedback on our cats. Whenever we call with a request or questions, they respond right away. The kitties kennel are happily right next to each other. Our 15 year old ragdoll was not happy sharing a kennel with our other cat so they did everything to make it right and have in their perfect next door suite. They worked with us to give the cats their perfect home. We always come unannounced to find the cats well groomed fed and comfortable. We visit 2-3 times a week and we always feel sad but good about leaving them there. The cat crew has become their Foster Parents. The cat house is always clean and quiet whenever we arrive. Hopefully soon we will all be reunited in our new home. In the future whether it be our cats or a dogs we will always bring our fur babies there! Thank you ALL PETS! read more

To all my fellow Yelpers: (read entire review) I'm not a fan of giving bad reviews. I am very forgiving and believe in second chances, but feel obligated to share two experiences I've had with All Pets Boarding Resort. My first experience with All Pets Boarding was not great. I brought my dogs bed and her food. I was gone for 9 days. When I came back, they were unable to locate the bed and gave all the food back to me. One of the staff members ultimately acknowledged - in front of the owner - that they misplaced my dogs bed and put it in another kennel for the 9 days i was gone. For the food, they had no explanation. The owner was upset and they quickly refunded me over $450 for the entire stay. Given this gesture I gave them a second chance - they genuinely seemed apologetic. Let me mention that I got my dog when she was a pup. I've never laid a hand on her. I do not believe in hitting dogs. Maybe a slap on the butt as a consequence, but never near the head. When I returned home with my dog today, we were settling in and I went up to her to pet her on the head, which I do all the time. She cringed, quickly kneeled to the ground, put her ears back and acted as though I was going to strike her near the head. This absolutely broke my heart. It was clear something happened to her over this past weekend at All Pets Boarding Resort. I hope all who read this maybe take another minute to find another provider to make sure their pets are safe and in good hands. read more

My dog goes here for daycare about three times a week. She has a GREAT time, plays with other dogs, and is always tired at the end of the day. The "resort" is set on the owners' property and is run kind of as a low-key, family run business. There's lots of outdoor area to play, which is not something that you always get anymore at kennels. The staff is all very friendly and they all love my dog (or at least say they do!). While the staff all means well and I'm sure does everything to the best of their ability, as a low-key business I don't feel there are a lot of "rules and guidelines" in place like at some other kennels. This isn't bad, just more loose, and now and then you might get a shrug in response when you ask some questions. But I do believe that the entire staff wants to best for your dog and they really enjoy what they do. It is sort of annoying that they're hardly open at all (8am-12pm and 4pm-6pm for pick up only, closed Sundays). There are certainly lots of times when this would be super inconvenient for picking up your dog, in my opinion. I do UNDERSTAND why they are not open late, but man, the fact that Wag Hotels is open 24 hours is pretty exciting when we rarely return from a trip before 6pm, and often on a Sunday, being the end of the weekend! We probably are weird, but we really like to pick up our dog right away after a trip, not waiting until the next morning. We miss our doggies while we're gone! But other than the hours, I really have zero complaints. My dog is so happy and so tired after daycare that my evenings go so much better and calmer! read more

Just picked my dog up this morning. He stayed here for 10 days and I couldn't be happier. They kept a file on him to report to me everything he did. They really seemed to be observant to his needs (although he's a bigger dog he had more fun playing with the small dogs). He seemed happy and well feed. I also asked for him to be bathed before I took him home. They bathed him the morning of pick up and he was ready to go when I picked him up, just like they promised. They even washed the blanket we brought with him. I will definitely use this place again. read more

I love this boarding facility. I have a spoiled little boy and this is the only place I would ever take him. I feel relaxed going in vacation. I was so lucky to have come across All Pets Boarding Resort. I made a weekend trip up from the Bay Area to attend a dog-related event, but my puppy was too young to participate in the first day's activities, so I needed to find a place for him to stay while I attended the Friday seminar. I called around to multiple places to see if they would take my pup just for the day. Now, I work at a daycare and boarding facility in San Francisco, so my dog is very familiar with off leash playgroups and such. I am well versed in the various requirements and restrictions for dogs (regardless of if I believe in some of them), and my dog meets the basic standards needed for doggie daycare. I called multiple facilities that were in close proximity to the location of the seminar and not a single one would take my dog. Each place found a different reason to not accept him - his breed (he is a Belgian Malinois), he's too young for groups (he is 8 months), the fact that I couldn't come up earlier to do an evaluation, etc etc. There was always something. Then I called the wonderful people at All Pets - they were accommodating, helpful, pleasant, and an absolute godsend. I was very comfortable making the reservation to leave my golden child there. When I arrived onsite, I was even more impressed. The grounds are gorgeous, the dogs have ample play space, they readily gave me a tour of the entire facility even though it was crazy morning feeding time, and made my dog feel welcome from the second he stepped foot into the group. I watched him play through the window for a minute, could see he was comfortable, and left. I called mid day just to check on him (yes, I am that neurotic owner), and without hesitation they gave me a full account of his antics. It's something I strive to do at work for each dog I care for, so I really appreciate other people that do that too. Same thing when I picked him up - a full account of his day and a recommendation for a place to stop and run him before we went to our hotel. We ended up not even needing to stop there because he was SO tired from his playing (and the heat haha, city dogs....)! Thank you so much All Pets! If we are ever in the area again, I will not hesitate to bring him back for the day! read more

I read many reviews on dog boarding facilities before I chose All Pets. My dog stayed for a week. They have such a great facility and terrific staff that genuinely care about your pet. They are more than happy to give you a tour--you don't need to be hesitant about asking for one. They separate the large dogs from the small dogs (two separate play areas), which is nice. My dog stayed with the small dogs. Most of the small dog rooms have a doggy door so your dog can either stay inside or choose to go to the outside play area. Dogs that play well with others are allowed to play together. Dogs that don't play well are kept in separate areas. My dog gets along with other dogs, but she is in a one-dog family. I really appreciated that she had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs. They also have a facility for cats. On my tour, I met the person who took care of the cat area. She seemed very sweet, kind, and gentle. She knew the names of all the cats in her care. The facility is a separate building from the dog area. It was clean and did not smell like a cat area at all. I didn't need to board my cat; however, if this is a need, I would recommend taking the tour. I was hesitant about leaving my dog for a week. A nice feature they have is a cut-out "window" area where you can peek in on the small dog play area from the parking area in front of the building. Before we got in the car to leave, I went over to get a glimpse of my dog in the play area. She was having a great time sniffing around and playing with her new dog friends! I felt so much better leaving her after knowing that she was adjusting well to her new surroundings. I live about 25 minutes from Loomis. It was worth the drive for me. The next time I need to board my dog, I will definitely use them again. read more

We boarded our cat here a few weeks ago and it was wonderful! Mr. Cat was in great hands with the nicest and most caring ladies. When you enter the grounds it's like a dream, the most beautiful landscape with a pond and clear directions to the cat condos and dog kennels. We also got to choose which condo our cat stayed in but almost all of them have windows! 10/10 would definitely use them again read more

After being turned away by multiple boarders we came across the all pets boarding resort because we were displaced from the Santa Rosa fire and needed to find care for our cats. One of our cats had an expired vaccination, and Denise went out of her way to help us find someone at the last minute to get her vaccinated so we could get our dearly loved cats safely boarded. She went above and beyond the call of duty and was super nice. And then I get the great surprise to see their kitty condos in their kitty building and it was just awesome too. My poor kitties, although frightened for being out of their comfort zone did remarkably well. I would bring my kitties back there in a heartbeat if I ever need boarding in Roseville again. My first experience with All Pets Boarding Resort was amazing. I took my doggies there (3 large breed) and they were treated as I would treat them. However that was in February. Later I had to take them back again due to my wedding and they were with APBR for about 3-4 days in June. When I came back to get my dogs I was very disappointed. Not only were they separated, after I was told that at least two of them would be together in one kennel, while the third was next door, but one of my dogs came back with scratches all over her face. When I asked the person releasing the dogs to me, the same person who claimed he was with the dogs a majority of the time, he said that he didn't know what had happened and he would just tell the management. If there is somebody who is watching the dogs almost constantly and you didn't notice these large gashes on my dogs face, then that tells me one thing. You are lying, either lying about watching them and checking on them as much as he said, or lying about not knowing where they came from. This became even more alarming to me because when I went to get said pup with the scratches on her face, it became very evident to me that for whatever reason she did NOT like the employee that was with me. I am a pretty strong believer that dogs have a solid judge of character, so when my dog doesn't like you there is usually a reason. I was finally contacted after about 4 days of hearing nothing from All Pets Boarding Resort. At this time I was officially on my honeymoon and they were taken out of this boarding facility. When management called me they said that they spoke with the same man that I spoke with and they have no idea how those scratches got on her face. The only explanation that they gave is that she tried to go through the fence, which was also never reported to anybody who watched her, nor was it written down in her file. All of the times that she was checked on throughout the time there, the scratches were also never made note of. I can't trust a facility who cannot (1) keep track of their employees; blaming it on new employees even though everybody should be trained the same way (2) keep their stories straight (3) keep my dogs safe. Her gash was so close to her eye that any further over could have done some major damages, out of the four that she has in various parts across her face. I will NEVER take my dogs back here, I wouldn't recommend them to anybody, EVER. read more

I've been bringing my Lab to All Pets for about 6 years. I should mention that he has separation anxiety so I am usually nervous about leaving him anywhere. In fact, we need to crate him if we leave him alone at home for any length of time because he gets into mischief. But he does great at All Pets! He literally barrels in the door and never looks back. We tried taking him to a different boarding place before finding All Pets and we literally had to drag our 95 lb. baby through the door. He seems happy when we pick him up, and I love that there is onsite grooming so I can arrange for him to get a bath before picking him up. Totally recommend this place! read more

Every time we arrive to drop off our baby/dog we always feel bad for leaving her, (no matter where she would be staying, you just feel a little guilty). But when we arrive at All Pets Boarding Resort she can't wait to get inside and see all of the staff and see what dog friends she gets to hang out with. She literally runs up the stairs to the office. One time I was holding her and trying to hand her off we almost dropped her because she was so excited, she could not be still, to see everyone. Another time I took off her leash and when the door opened to the small dog area she just raced in never looking back. I think that says it all. She loves this place and we are so happy to have them available to take care of our baby when we have to leave town without her. read more

They need to re-name themselves as "prejudice against some pets". I have a 5 month old, full of love Am Staff. Once that breed was verbalized, they said "oh no! That's a pit bull breed. We boarded our 2 dogs here recently for a week. Prior to boarding them they both had been extremely healthy, no medical problems, and just given a clean bill of health from the vet (1 week before boarding). While at this kennel one of our dogs developed acute pancreatitis, had to be taken to vet due to vomiting and bloody diarrhea, and was very ill for a week. (a pricey vet bill as well). Our other dog started having diarrhea and not eating the day we picked them up and was also sick for a week. I give the kennel credit for acting quickly to get our dog to the vet as her condition could have been life threatening if not treated immediately, but beyond that, I have to think something wasn't right there (dirty conditions or bad food) for both of our healthy dogs to have become so sick in their care. Will definitely NOT return or recommend!!! read more

I am a very easy going guy, but this place is highway robbery. We dropped our dog off, and when we picked him up there where a handful of random charges. Honestly who charges a barking fee? And don't bother brining your own food because they will charge you extra for that as well. I also have a feeling they put shock collars on the dogs that bark without the owners consent.
