In three words: friendly, professional and available. Long version: the landlord hired A-list to exterminate the basement apartment, we heard the super let them in, 15 minutes later a big water-bug runs across our floor (1st floor apt). The super has already left, but we asked Walid if he could come do our place. He said management only paid for downstairs (thanks NYC landlords) but offered us a discount. I said yes and he came right in, told us about what was going on downstairs (roach nest in boiler room), sprayed, put down granuals, let us know where he thought roaches could come up through, and how to plug it. He also suggested we get a door sweep for our apartment door because the gap between it and the floor was big enough to let roaches and mice in (eeek). We paid him cash (our idea) and he sent an invoice within 20 minutes (so we can try to take the money out of our rent). I'd recommend Walid. :) read more

I had mice 7 years ago when I moved into my Ridgewood apartment, and tried a few different exterminating companies, but none of them got rid of the mice. I had to get a cat.
