John Parinello was my recruiter, and I can't say enough good things about him. He was incredibly communicative the entire time, always checking in, keeping me updated, and making sure I felt informed every step of the way. Beyond that, he was genuinely motivating and encouraging, which made a huge difference during what can be a pretty stressful process. It really felt like he was invested in helping me find the right role, not just any role. I also had the chance to work with Brandon and Maggi, who were both equally helpful and responsive. It was clear the whole team works closely together and truly cares about their candidates. Overall, I'm really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend Bachrach to anyone navigating a job search. They made the process feel a lot more seamless and positive than I expected!

I moved here needing a job in a hurry. I had been sending out my resume, cover letter and filling out applications for weeks prior to my move and still nothing. RJL's Cris and Jullian TRULY went above and beyond. They quickly interviewed me to see what my interests were, to check out my resume, (even guided me on fixing it to maximize my search results), HELPED ME WITH WARDROBE. We literally went out to buy clothes for my interview. They prepped with me before each interview and made me feel so at ease. I had gone to two other employment agencies prior to RJL who ensured they would find me something quickly, asked me a few questions, offered temp work and then sent me on my way. But that was the end of it, never heard from them again. Waste. Of. Time. I am so thankful for Cris and Jullian at RJL. They are so incredibly kind and make something incredibly intimidating, very approachable. Do yourself a favor and go to them to help you with your job needs in NYC. You won't regret it.

I experienced a wide range of responses anywhere from constant email newsletters to never hearing back from the company. It wasn't until I was referred to RJL Resources that I started making progress in the job hunt. I was immediately made to feel that not only would I be a valuable asset to them, but that they would do everything they could to be an asset to me. RJL Resources helped distinguish me from the sea of other job applicants out there by taking time to really learn my strengths and skills and what I wanted in my next position. Bob and his team made sure that I didn't feel pressured into accepting a job just because they call me to offer it. They wanted to make sure any position I took felt right for me. They responded quickly and dependably to all of my communication with them and I received a call about a possible position only hours after our first meeting. They were able to get me into interviews quickly and gave me advice on what each company was looking for and how to best present myself. Afterward, they kept on top of the status of my applications. Through RJL Resources, I was able to get a temporary position in a high-end hedge fund that I never would have been able to find or interview for on my own. Through my time in this role, payroll and other support from RJL has continued to be quick and dependable. The position I'm in has just gone permanent and I want to thank Bob and everyone else at RJL Resources for helping me make it here and for making it so easy.

Vanguard was one of them. I don't know/or didn't know if this place was for people looking for full time and temp work or just temp work. I just got a nice call from a guy named Brian and came in the next day, filled out an application (although I was confused by that, since I wasn't applying for a job with Vanguard) and had a nice discussion with said Brian about what I was looking for. Fine so far. Then, he proceeded to present me with so much paperwork, I thought I was being arrested or signing up for sex reassignment surgery. I didn't actually think much of it but didn't have the time to sit there and go through it, as I had another appointment that I was already late for. When Brian was nice enough to e-mail me the stuff to fill out, I looked at it carefully. Why do they need to have my DIRECT DEPOSIT INFORMATION???? I want a FULL TIME job. I DO NOT WORK FOR VANGUARD. This is really ambiguous and a bit decieving. There is absolutely no reason why they should have any of that information unless you are tempting through them. Just a warning. I'm not sending any of this stuff back. Obviously. What's your favorite employment agency, btw? It's been about 10 years since I've looked for a job!

I was working at the mist unknown places in NYC from the Rainbow Room located a little from Madison Ave on the six Line to working weddings as away events as well as retirement parties and fundraisers. It was cool to me I felt so home and I was able to be myself and it was epic but everything always has a place where you can have fun but then something keeps you back Their biggest Client was the Piers which is on 16th street not too far from Chelsea and the greatest people and events take place there but the management was torture they were very strict and never could lay loose whenever it came down to staffing they always answer forever over staffed and whenever you have to much staff someone has to be cut from it there was so many times when my group would be cut first and it always made us crazy cause it killed our money My former event recruiter wasn't very proficient or professional when it came down to her job she would send us events in our emails and not ever put the needed contact information for the management we would be working with I lost track how many times I had to call her for the person's phone number just in case I'm late to the location of where we get transported. If we missed the transportation we missed the event and that never sit well with me Certain events where I was posted to work would require so many ways of transportation it nearly killed my energy!!!! Others often felt the same whenever we would barely get work and other was exhausting because life keeps going on we often still have responsibilities that need to be taken care of everyday hour and sec. When I was attending Empire Beauty School in 2022 I was barely making ends meet when I was often late for certain events I would try every second to get in touch with the management of the event but I never had too much luck when Francesca decided to take my name off the roster due to the many times I was late due to my schedule and not very good with directions it tore me apart!!!! Not only was I became depressed from not working and keeping me away from paying off my Student Loan or even trying to start I wasn't okay I grew very desperate for financial assistance because I was attending school a schedule I had no control of and the rules were very strict and I had no control of it as well I wore a blue wig to one of my shifts and I was told I couldn't wear it but there was someone there with pink hair they didn't say nothing to that person not even send her home but was always quick to send me home In certain places I feel they are strict the mist with anyone who is colored I received the most backlash whenever I would have color in my hair I always felt very violated amd discriminated against and it wasn't fair ams whenever that was reported about me I had to explain myself and it still didn't help nothing. She made me feel very bad and sick and I didn't know want to do I was upset that I explained myself about my situation but she wouldn't hear of it She really made e feel awful about myself amd all I wanted tondo whats work so I could take care of my responsibilities. and if I can't get in touch with anyone as well to inform them of my arrival that's nor my fault neither. I personally had great things to say about Good kind but after 2022 I NEVER WANTED NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH THEM THEY wasn't in any way proficient and they made me feel awful about everything aftee that 2 latenesses it really hurt cause they didn't want to hear my side of the story and they never really understood me neither If I wanted to I would five this overall company 2 stars because of how the way they handled things and not having everyone's best interest at heart.

Daisy Jimenez was such a delight to deal with. It was evident from the minute she coordinated the interview with me, and during the actual interview itself, that she's been doing this for a long time, and I've never felt so at ease while applying for a job. While she was the epitome of professional, I really felt as if I was talking to an old friend that I haven't seen as a while and not someone who was reviewing my resume to see if I was a fit for their available positions. Greg Bernhardt, who is one of the partners of the firm, met with me after my initial interview with Daisy, and he was equally as professional and personable. Once we had finished speaking with one another, he promptly made his way over to his desk, and started making phone calls on my behalf. Half an hour after I left their office, I had a request for a zoom interview for this upcoming Friday. Last but not least, Babien Avila, had such a fantastic energy about her, and although she didn't interview me, she kept checking on me while I was waiting to be seen and after I told her I was hungry, she went out of her way to get me some food as well as a much needed cup of coffee. While I was there, it was very clear that despite being a small firm, they were a very tight knit group, who worked efficiently together, while still being able to find time to laugh and smile with one another. The last time I walked into a corporate office, the misery was palpable and you didn't feel welcome at all.
