I have been working at Three Pillars Recruiting full-time for more than 3 years Pros - Great environment, fun and upbeat atmosphere. Open environment giving you the ability to ask questions and get answers. Management is available all the time and provide you the support you need. If you do your job well this job pays off. Cons - Sometimes you need to take your work home, but that's the nature of the industry. Working under pressure, but to make you better not to put you down. Advice to Senior Management - Keep the support and the constructive criticisms, it helps in the daily work. I would recommend this company to a friend. read more

I love working with Three Pillars. They definitely get great high profile jobs and work very hard to find the right fit for you. Was recently placed by them and am so happy. They also did not walk away once I started. They have been checking in along the way which I greatly appreciate. Would not only recommend them but if I were in the job market again I would definitely want to work with them. read more

I had a good experience working with Three Pillars in 2017. They had reached out on Linkedin and when I responded they were very proactive in all my needs and questions. Matt worked very diligently with his client to ensure I got a friendly and timely interview. After I had taken the job, Matt was very nice with following up and seeing how everything was going. I would recommend Three Pillars to anyone looking for a competent and hard-working recruiting service. read more

Stay far away. I worked briefly with a recruiter after being laid off from my job in December. My recruiter, who I will not name, was pushy, moody, a poor listener, and was not an advocate for me at all. My line of work is analytics, and during our first conversation I told him very clearly that I was not looking for sales/account management types of roles. He then proceeded to feed me roles that were at least 50% account management, and barely listen to my feedback that these roles were not ideal for me. I honestly don't understand why recruiters would have a hard time drumming up work for analytics professionals, given how much the industry is booming. I felt insulted by the jobs he was putting me up for, and not very encouraged by the seeming lack of compatible companies I was interviewing with. I generally felt abandoned by this person the entire time I spent working with him. I asked him for feedback from employers I'd interviewed with, assuming that as a recruiter he might have access to information I didn't. His responses were consistently no better than wild speculation I or my friends would make about how an interview went. At one point, he told me that, because an employer hadn't been in touch with him in a few days about me, that I "probably didn't win them over." What!? In what world is that an appropriate thing for a recruiter to say? I gave up after a few weeks of fruitless back-and-forth, and very soon after landed a job on my own. They post a lot of job listings on LinkedIn, which is how I started working with them. Avoid them if you can. Very unprofessional. read more

Azi absolutely made my 2016. My salary has literally doubled from a year ago, and it never would have happened without him. He is responsive, flexible, and (most importantly to me) proves over and over again that he is a trustworthy guy with a ton of integrity. I can't think him enough for his patience with me last year. It was a drawn out process, and I had a lot of annoying, tedious questions. Despite this he stuck with me, gave me great advice, and the outcome was fantastic. He'll unquestionably be the first person I go to when I'm looking to make my next career move. read more

I have often found that the great majority of recruiters lack the subject matter expertise or business acumen to examine a candidates resume and conduct match process to their interests and industry trajectory - that is most certainly not the case with three pillars. In particular, my time spent with Dan goldsmith was centered around his industry knowledge and a meticulous study of my experience and where I wanted my career to head. I definitely recommend Dan and three pillars for their knowledge in the area of technology and strategy opportunities. Thanks, 3 pillars÷ read more

I have worked with Three Pillars for almost two years now, both on the job search side, and the hiring side. Nothing but professional and great to work with on either side. They placed me in my current role with a great company, and have sourced great candidates for the open sales roles I needed to fill, have one hire through them, an excellent seller and person, and expect to make more in the future. I reach out to them immediately when I get open headcount, they can be relied on to source solid candidates, listen to our needs and adjust as needed. I expect to work with them well into the future. read more

Nothing says integrity like calling my office (from a blocked number), asking for one of my employees saying you're a "family friend", only to try and poach them away from us. What a horrible, unethical, slimy way to do business. read more

Let me start off by saying that I NEVER write reviews, however I definitely had to make it a point to make my first for Ben Feldman at 3 Pillars. I had the pleasure to work with Ben (as my recruiter) and I can't even begin to express how professional, attentive and pleasant my experience with Ben was and still is! Everyone knows how annoying, tedious and time consuming it can be to look for a new job but Ben honestly made it seamless. He immediately found the perfect job for me. He always kept me informed on feedback and progress and consistently followed up with me on a daily basis, whether it was via email or a phone call. I literally felt like he was my biggest advocate. Ben made every effort and was successful in getting me the exact position and compensation I asked for. I can never thank him enough. Till this day Ben reaches out to me just to see how things are going with my new job. Hands down, I'd recommend 3 Pillars (especially Ben) to anyone looking for a new gig in the digital ad space! Thanks again!!! read more

Three Pillars Recruiting reached out to me via Linkedin and the experience was definitely a positive one. I worked with a gentleman by the name of Azi Zimmerman. Azi was a top notch professional who possessed the ability to act as an advisor/consultant and recruiter. Not only was he a great listener and communicator but he also had the knowledge within the digital landscape to offer me the best possible advice. Azi helped place me into a very cool start up company within the programmatic landscape. Every now and then Azi reaches out to me.. making sure things are ok! Not only has he build trust and validation but he's built a loyal customer.. If your looking for a recruiting firm that will update you once they receive client notifications, encourage you, coach you & supply you materials prior to an interview.. then I would most definitely recommend Three Pillars Recruiting. read more

Matt reached out to me with a job opportunity and while I usually dismiss recruiter emails, I decided to respond, got a chance to speak with some really great people at a solid company, and am now working at said company! Without me reaching out in any way prior, over the course of 24 hours one of their recruiters LinkedIn messaged, emailed, called, left a voicemail, and texted me, all unsolicited. I had to block them because I was beginning to feel harassed. read more

This is the most amateur recruitment company I have had the displeasure to work with. One of their employees insulted me for canceling on an interview I had lost interest in, and then discovered they had never scheduled it in the first place. Then he emailed me asking for leads 3 months later. The industry would be better off without them. read more

these guys are terrible. I've dealt with four of them already. Each time they write me asking me if I'm interested in a position, I write back, then they take weeks to respond. Literally every single one of them has done it and I work at the best companies in my industry, I can't imagine how they treat people who are not in high demand. read more

Sheera Van-Straten found me a fantastic job. She was attentive, patient, and thorough. I've been very happy with my time working with Three Pillars and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new position. read more

Nothing but pure professionalism. Three pillars helped me get my current gig and I couldn't be happier.

I worked with Sheera Van Straten for a digital management role in New York. Sheera was one of the most friendly and diligent recruiters I have ever worked with. She was extremely knowledgeable about the role and the company and equipped me with the preparation I needed to do well in my interviews. She was sincere in her intentions to fill the role with the right person and checked in with me every other day to ensure that I was comfortable with the role and compensation. 3 months into the job, she gave me a call to touch base and see how I was liking the company and my team. I would definitely work with Three Pillars again in finding a quality role in the competitve digital job market in New York. Thank you, Sheera! read more

This is a very professional recruiting firm. Oftentimes recruiters are phony and not good listeners. Definitely not the case with Matt Needleman at 3 pillars. I've worked with Steven over at Three Pillars for a handful of years now and he and his team were tireless in finding and passing along opportunities for me to explore. Stephen in particular was always a great advocate for me at any company I showed interest in and never missed an opportunity to give me some insight into why or why not I might be a fit. The whole team is professional and very thorough in handling the the back and forth communication between candidates like me and the hiring company. I'm happy to say the job I'm currently at was a referral from three pillars. read more

Azi Zimmerman helped me find my current job at a start-up in the Marketing Technology space. I am going on 8 months in this role and am very happy with both the company I work for and the support I received from Three Pillars during the application and interview process. From the very first phone call we had, it was clear that Azi was knowledgeable about the Media industry and had helped many people with a background similar to mine transition over to the Technology side of my field. He displayed an acute understanding of my prospective employer's needs, which was also helpful for me in learning more about the company and assessing the job opportunity. Additionally, Azi took the time to really listen to what I was looking for in my next job to ensure the match between me and my current employer would be a good one. Searching and applying for a new job is often an exhausting and time-consuming process. With Azi, however, I felt like I had a friend who was guiding me and rooting for me throughout. And last but not least, Azi helped me negotiate a higher salary offer, so I think the results speak for themselves. Thanks again, Three Pillars! read more

I was lucky to have Stephen in my corner, after having lost my sales gig back in April 2015. Matt reached out to me via email at a time when I was not looking for a job. After a few conversations, he had me sold, both on his abilities and the company he was connecting me with. He stood by me for the entire interview process and continues to check in now that I am 6 months into the new job. He is professional, kind, hilarious, courteous, respectful, and an all around amazing guy. I was sad to see the recruitment phase end because it meant our daily pep talks would end - he's that good. The company worked for me! I am an account executive (in digital media)who was laid off....They contacted me THAT WEEK and I had an interview with a very good company early the next week. LESS THAN 1 MONTH LATER I was in my new position (where I am today). I can't say it'll work that quickly for everyone, but they walked me thru the whole process, knew their stuff and they also have great industry contacts. I would highly recommend them if you're searching for a sales position in digital media. read more

My experience with Three Pillars was nothing less than exceptional. As a digital media sales leader, I receive recruiter calls and emails regularly but this one stood out. Dov Halpern's outreach was unique and refreshing...it was relevant, respectful and insightful. He was thorough, honest and took great care to ensure my expectations were met every step of the way. I accepted the role and couldn't be happier...the entire process was professional and seamless. I have since learned that the very best staffers at my new company have also been placed by Three Pillars. As I'm looking to grow my new team, I've already secured Three Pillars to help me hire sales executives. I'm thoroughly impressed and confident in their abilities and would recommend them to both candidates and companies in need of stellar recruiting help. read more
