I am happy with how promptly A Kleene Sweep called back on Monday morning after I left a voicemail on the weekend asking for a service/chimney sweep appointment. They set an appointment within the following day, and on the day of service, someone called ahead to ask permission to come early. Both employees were polite and professional throughout their time in our home. Great service! The cost of the inspection and chimney sweep was $130, which seems reasonable given that it required two people, time on the roof, and some dirty work. They emailed a follow up report with details and inspection results before leaving. Love knowing our chimney and fireplace are now clean and ready for another season. The employee mentioned that summer is the best time for a routine service call--they tend to be booked out for months in the winter read more

I think A Kleene Sweep is out of business. No answer to phone calls or email messages left in July and August 2026. Voice message is full. Odd that a long-time, existing customer wasn't notified that they were closing. A shame - they were great! read more

Great, efficient service. We use them for annual chimney & dryer clean up. We schedule ahead of time because they book out.

Called to get my pellet stove cleaned and was told they do clean stoves! When the guy arrived he told me they don't clean pellet stoves "not trained to do that" Proceeded to go out and clean my 7" stovepipe in about 2 minutes! I needed my stove serviced but that didn't happen! I was charged $195 for the cleaning! Called and expressed my concern with no real explanation from them! I wouldn't recommend them for pellet stoves as they lied about their service but gladly took payment for a nothing job! Terrible! Don't say you do a job when actually you don't ! read more

Great customer service I would recommend them to anyone that needs help with their fireplace or gas fireplace. They are experts at what they do and you can tell they really love their job. read more

Always on time and clean up their mess. We have used them for the past 8 years. One thing none of us want is a fire.

Tyler & Andrew were great. Professional (arrived on the dot), courteous (clean, masked) and very knowledgeable! I didn't think of a chimney sweeping company as the same as a chimney repair, but they appear to be better at inspecting chimneys than the repair companies I have come in contact with. When we bought our home, the home inspector recommended we'd get the chimney checked out. Our amazing realtor actually hired someone to trouble shoot it and it took that repair person close to an hour to just find the hidden security on / off switch. The team from A Kleen had it running in two minutes, further inspected it, removed some left behind trash from behind the unit, and then got to cleaning. I think it all took them about an hour. Great experience! Key take away: if you need trouble shooting, call them first. You get a lot more for your money. read more

Amazing company, amazing people. Had a problem with my schedule and they promised to be there at a certain time and did it. Showed me more about my fireplace in 5 minutes than another company ever did , including showing us we had a blower we weren't using. Price was incredible and the service men were great. Will definitely keep using them and have already started recommending them read more

I would like to know how people are publishing five star reviews. I have called their number multiple times and no one picks up the phone. I have left messages at least three times with no return call. How do they even stay in business? read more

One day services Molly and Liz emailed asked for a few photos To look up the propane heater/stove we had in our home Someone had removed the fan and motor from the main heat in our home. The appointment was set for the next day for between 1:00 and 3:00 Dan called us just after 1:00 to check if we where home He arrived soon after Came in our home with his helper Laid down a large cover to cover our carpet. Nice The stove is a pain to work as it sits in a corner of our living room. Dan and his helper had to unhook the stovepipe and move the stove out from the wall. Dans young helper is deaf Dan was so kind and understanding working with his helper and we could see the two worked well as a team I'll call again for repair and services I'll also tell others what good services we received On top of this Dan called tonight checking to make sure we where happy. The crew from A Kleen Sweep is just about to pull out of my driveway and I wanted to say that they did a great job! They were quick, thorough, and polite. They said they would be here between two and four, they pulled in at 2:01, got started right away after a few questions and were finished by 2:30! My wood stove looks clean and is ready to go for the season. They also added us to a reminder list so we can avoid the crunch in the fall. read more

A Kleene Sweep Chimney Service - The door is sparkling and the inside of our old stove couldn't be cleaner. - Chimney Sweeps Near Me - Redmond, Oregon

I'm SO glad I used these guys for our gas insert installation. They went out of their way to find a gas insert that worked in an existing space that was very challenging, whereas other fireplace companies were much less interested in helping me. They took pride in their work and the results were great. Another great thing is that they do several steps of the work end-to-end - they can prep and frame the area where the insert is installed, they can plumb the gas line, they can install the insert, and they can even do finishing tiling and trimming. I checked with other fireplace installation companies but other companies ONLY do the fireplace itself, not any of the other steps which means I'd have to separately coordinate with several different companies such as a construction company, a plumber, a tiler, etc. What a hassle! But Kleene Sweep was willing to do all of that, so it was just smooth and easy. And we love the results. I can't say enough good things about them. Don't hesitate to use them for any of their services! read more

Kleen Sweep shows up on time, they do a thorough job and are reasonably priced. They get busy in the Fall so if you don't book an appointment early, you will likely have to wait a few weeks, but they are worth the wait! If you have an issue, ask to speak to the owner. He is very fair and wants you to be happy :) read more

I wasn't very happy with the service. I noticed a partial brick was missing and no mention of that was given, i think something like that should have been brought to our attention. The price was very fare but with the 6 week waiting period and the missed fire brick i won't be using them next year read more

The team of guys are really terrific, they are professional. Arrived on time and have been very clean. Not only did they do a great job every time I've used them for my wood fireplace, they fixed the gas fireplace (wasn't getting gas) upstairs quickly for no extra charge. Remember to give them a tip they are worth it:) read more

Highly recommend. Dan and Austin came by, did an inspection, re-silicone sealed some things up on the roof, swept, re-glued a part of our gasket, and did a paint touch up. Couldn't be more pleased. NOTE: do NOT start even a small fire earlier in the day of sweeping. read more

I called for a chimney inspection and sweep today. Liz was very helpful on the phone. She fit me in the same day for service. Nathan and his partner showed up and did a great job. They repaired a gasket on the door and cleaned the chimney. They were very kind and professional. Their prices seemed very reasonable based on their prompt and professional service. I would highly recommend this company. read more

We were having trouble with our gas insert fireplace staying lit. A Kleene Sweep came out and serviced it promptly. Been working great ever since. Perfect. read more

We used Kleene Sweep to replace a gas fireplace, remove a gas fireplace, and remove a soffit in a rental house. They provided fantastic ideas, a competitive quote, and kept us informed of the progress the entire time with pictures and regular phone calls. They hit their schedule as promised. What's most impressive though, that even after the work was done and paid for, they offered to come back to improve the paint match that was a little off. You just couldn't ask for better service. Both Dan & Joe were excellent, I'd highly recommend Kleene Sweep! read more

Hired these guys to sweep our wood stove for the first time. They were on time, didn't smell of cigarettes, were informative/answered my many questions, even re-glued a section of our gasket back on (as part of their service). Will def use them again next summer. Highly recommend them. read more

These people are awesome! We had a wood stove installed in the summer and started using it about a month ago. Dan was great! He recommended what we needed and he was right on! From install to use it has been a real pleasure. Everything Dan said was true and that is so appreciated when you're investing in something for your home like this. Thank you Dan and all of your employees! We are very happy! read more

Super friendly and great service! The only thing that was wrong is I was quoted the wrong price on the phone so, it ended up being more expensive. Not only did they clean the chimney but, they also helped get my pellet stove running better! read more

Very organized, professional and personable guys from the initial quote for the removal of a propane fireplace and installation of a woodstove that Ken said would heat my 2700 sq ft house. He was right, it will! Joe and Evan did a great job of installation and you can't go wrong using this company. Molly arranged the County inspection for the installation which was quick and painless. The Inspector said that he never has issues with this company because they do great work. read more

Johnathon and Tyler arrived during the window of time they said they would. They were professional and mindful of tracking debris on my carpet, space was clean after they were done. They were knowledgeable, and not just about what kinds of wood I should be using, Juniper and Lodgepole pine. I'm very glad I was told because I had just felled Ponderosa, and was planning on using that for next time around. They will be my company to use going forward, thank you! read more

I was SO pleased with A Kleene Sweep Chimney Service! From the beginning, I was given an accurate and fair quote. The two chimney sweeps showed up right on time! They communicated to me clearly about what they were going to do. I was impressed with how professional and respectful they were. They put a drop cloth down, around my wood burning fireplace as to not get any ash on my floor when they were sweeping or using the shop vac. I will highly recommend these guys as they were great! read more

Can't say enough good things about this company! Jonathan and Nathan did an excellent job in cleaning our chimney and insert. They were prompt, polite, professional and seemed to really know their stuff. I will definitely call them in the future, and would highly recommend them. read more

Followed the advice of previous "Yelpers". Using a Kleen Sweep was a great choice. Initially spoke with Molly. She was very nice, polite and informative. I had some other questions and received a call back that evening with some great strategy advice. Joe came out to clean the chimney just a couple days after initial call. I knew immediately I was in good hands as Joe was very knowledgeable, answered my questions, gave honest advice and did not try to upsell me. The job was done likety-split and was left spotless. Definitely will call these guys again. When you get great service like this you just want to shout it from the mountain tops! YELP will have to suffice for now. I plan to purchase a new wood stove this summer and will positively lean on A Kleen Sweep for their expertise. read more

Excellent service!! I don't know when we have felt better served by a company than we did by the entire staff at Kleene Sweep. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.
