I had previously used Renew and was happy with their service! They were at my home replacing my garbage disposal within 20 minutes of calling! And their quote came in under the other quotes I had received! Still recommend! read more

We had another plumber come out to repair a leaking bath faucet and was told it wasn't repairable. We called Dave at Renew and he had me send pics of the problem so he could review what needed to be done before he came the next day. He ordered the parts and came out and repaired the faucet in a very timely manner. Works great. Also noticed toilet running and replaced flapper as part of his full service!! He also diagnosed our Kohler kitchen sink and replaced a cartridge for us. In addition he said to call Kohler for another part that they will send for free rather than us paying him to do it. Pricing for repairs was reasonable, especially because we thought we were going to have to replace entire faucet in bathtub by tearing out tile to get to controls. read more

My handyman recommended Renew Plumbing to change the washer box in our laundry room. I called Josh, sent him a picture of our setup and he was able to give me an estimate over the phone. A couple of hours later, a young gentleman (Cayden?) showed up. He is a true professional. He knew exactly what he was doing. His confidence, knowledge, and level of care assured me that we just found our permanent plumber. read more

Fast, efficient, effective, and very reasonably priced. We had a leak, called Renew, and they were able to come out within the hour to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. Thank you, Renew Plumbing! read more

Josh responded to my call quickly, came and fixed my leak seamlessly. To get a callback and repair the next business day is incredible. Plus, my dog loved him and vice versa. What more could you ask for? I am so grateful and he will be on my speed dial for all my plumbing leaks. read more

Good work, honest team members, very responsive. I've used Renew 6-7 times over the last 5 years. They show up when they say they will, do the work quickly, never leave a mess, and have never charged me more than was expected. They've even once talked me out of a water heater replacement once, suggesting it may have several more years before needing replacement. With Renew, I know I'm getting the right advice and work. Dave, Josh, Zane, are always great! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dave and his company. We have used them now on multiple occasions. He is the best of the best. He is honest and happy to share his expertise in a way that makes your project make economic sense for you (instead of for him). He shows up when he says, completes the work in a professional manner, and leaves the space clean when he is done. Another review says he is a Godsend, and I would have to agree. read more

Super happy with the quick and complete service. We needed someone right before a holiday to switch out some kitchen sink shut off valves after a DIY project went sideways and Renew was able to get a tech to us within hours. He was early, took extra care to solve a few unexpected problems and the bill was entirely reasonable. Overall very happy with the service value. read more

I cannot begin to describe what a godsend Dave and his company, Renew Plumbing, were for us. We were away from town for months but received a $500 water bill in the middle of winter with the house water turned off! We clearly had a huge leak somewhere on our 1.5 acre property. As soon as we returned home, we tried to find the leak ourselves, which was calculated at 10,000 gallons a day! You would think that would be pretty obvious. But it wasn't at all. That water was probably falling into a lava tube or something and we gave up the search. We were given a reference to Dave at Renew Plumbing and he picked up the phone himself and had somebody at our house within 40 minutes. Within 90 minutes of that, using specialized equipment to trace the water line and then to inject it with hydrogen gas, they were able to pinpoint the location of the leak extremely accurately, even though it was 4 feet underground. The next morning, in a freezing snow storm, they were back to dig up our frozen ground and fix it permanently. I have never had such foul-weather service from anyone. This company is one of only a few. locally with the specialized equipment needed for a deep underground leak and so they have a great deal of experience with this problem. But the responsiveness, friendliness, and fair pricing were a real surprise. We thought we would be without water for days or weeks and in less than 24 hours, all was repaired. Serious service and I cannot thank them enough. read more

My water heater would not stay lit, so I asked for help on the 'net. Lots of good info. My friend recommended Renew Plumbing, so I gave them a call. They were able to determine the age of my heater-15 years!. After a short discussion, we decided to get a new water heater. My first call to them was at 8:30am and by 4:15pm, the same day, I had a fully functional new water heater. Great communication, great service, and knowledgeable installers. I highly recommend Renew Plumbing for your Plumbing needs. read more

Really great guys. Fixed replaced bathroom faucet. Will definitely call again. Very happy.

These guys are great. I had them out for a big multifaceted project recently and was glad I chose them. Their customer service is fantastic (worked primarily with Josh), they were very knowledgeable across the several projects (plus a few ad hoc questions) and I would absolutely use them again for future projects. Price was more reasonable relative to other bids I received for the same work. read more

Dave really knows his business. I let my landlord know I had a problem. Dave showed up and pretty much knew right away it was more serious than I thought. He brought in some more guys. They attacked the problem relentlessly. Great crew. Great service. read more

Excellent service and fast response. Dave knows his stuff! Because he understood that older houses may have out-dated plumbing configurations, he was able to easily and quickly diagnose our problem. He took the time to explain, and show us via camera, what was going on. We would definitely use Renew again if needed. read more

I highly recommend Renew Plumbing! One of our tub faucets started to leak over the weekend and by Monday morning it was coming out at a gallon/hour. I called the plumbing company we have used in the past and they said they couldn't come for 7 days! I started to search for another company and found such great reviews for Renew I had to try them. Dave answered my call and assured me his team could come out in the same day. Zane arrived and quickly repaired the issue. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. I'm so appreciative! read more

Thanks, Dave and crew, for the hip commode! I really can't say enough about Renew. Very professional (took COVID-19 precautions seriously), and helped me know what to do to get my bathroom ready to receive this porcelain masterpiece. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Didn't make me feel like the total idiot I am for my mistake that they put right. A tip of the hat to you all. read more

Ha!.. So the plumbing saga: Customer Service taken to the ninth degree! Josh showed up right on time, 12 noon, ran all new lines, had the old one out and new installed by 2:p. Now the new DW matches my fridge. How amazing is that?! We established good relations with Dave when we first moved here and he was building his business: Renew Plumbing. He now has 3 big cargo vans and 2 journeyman plumbers. I love that. read more

I found water around the base of my water heater. I live in a newly-built home, so this was alarming. I called Renew Plumbing -- Dave Schmidt (541) 480-9450, who showed up the next day. It turns out that the leakage from a failing overflow tank rather than from the water heater itself. It is unusual for one to fail so soon after installation. Until today, I didn't know how an overflow tank worked. Apparently, they are supposed to be calibrated at a certain pressure level. It is possible that ours was either improperly-calibrated or not calibrated at all at installation. They checked my house water pressure (75PSI--normal), replaced the overflow tank, calibrated it, and replaced the pressure release valve. Cost: $239. I would highly recommend this plumber: friendly, professional, and fast! read more

Dave and his team are fantastic. I texted him a photo of the failed part and he responded in an hour. The next morning, they arrived and fixed the problem. Wow! read more

I had a plumbing issue with our home we just moved into. I called Renew Plumbing and spoke with Josh. He took the time to ask a half dozen questions and told me he could definitely come take a look. He also said that if I was able to do a few things I may be able to handle it myself. I followed his instructions and solved the problem. He was so helpful, professional, and generous with his time and knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend Renew to anybody. Great people. read more

Dave, with Renew Plumbing, responded immediately this morning when we found we had no hot water and I was unable to relight the pilot on the tank. He came out within a few short hours and quickly found the problem and called for valve that luckily was in stock. He ran out to pick it up and quickly returned and replaced the valve (as well as a copper wire as a bonus!) Dave is a professional, experienced expert who is also honest, fair, personable and above all, a decent human! Highly recommend Dave and Renew Plumbing! read more

I read a recommendation for Renew Plumbing on Nextdoor and it just so happened I needed someone to fix a buggered faucet on my Jacuzzi bathtub. I called and the next day Zach was out and fixed my problem in short order. I was thoroughly impressed with this company, especially now when service companies are struggling to find help. Josh and Dave are the absolute best. I just moved here and I have had some challenges. My neighbors really suck. But, finding this service just made my day. They react to your needs accordingly. I was trying to drive to SF early this morning and found everything in my house was backed up. Dave made sure they attended to me immediately. Josh knew his stuff and fixed my issues effectively and efficiently. And he is so nice and personable!!! Thank you so much, Renew Plumbing Services, for being here when I needed you and going above and beyond. :-) read more

Dave jumped on my failed water heater with the first call. I push the boundaries they operate, near Smith Rock, but he moved forward anyway. The tech, Josh, was great. He had the replacement and installed it when the appointment was set. The workmanship he shows, especially brazing, is exceptional. I'm very pleased with Renew Plumbing and highly recommend them. read more

The pressure tank for my hot water system sprung a pinhole leak. The system was 16 years old, so, while I wanted the leak repaired in the meantime, it was time to investigate a replacement. I called Renew Plumbing first thing the next morning and they had exactly the replacement unit I wanted already in stock. I said schedule me in! And they weren't messin' around - within a couple hours, they were at the house ready to work. While I looked at the leak as a minor nuisance that I could have easily dealt with for a few days, I really appreciated the priority they put on the job. Even the price was reasonable. The guys (Dave and Josh on this call) were personable and knowledgeable, and I felt like I was in good hands. I'll definitely do business with Renew again. read more

My water heater started leaking in the wee hours of the morning and I was completely stressed out. Re-new plumbing called me back right away in the morning and arrived nice and early. They came in and capped off the valve that was leaking because it was just the drain valve, and didn't even charge me since it was a super quick and super easy fix. Super nice and super courteous. I would 100% call them again when needed, and recommend them to a friend. They also gave me an idea for creating a better access panel for my water heater as the current access is very tight and it would be impossible to replace it from that angle....But they also made it clear that it didn't need replacing and they want to keep these things running as long as possible and do smaller more affordable fixes first. read more

I would call these guys again in a heart beat. They returned my call quickly, scheduled an estimate within three days, with the work completed the next day. The charge for the work was surprisingly reasonable and the work team was professional and friendly. read more

I left voicemails with a bunch plumbers when I looking for someone to help with a malfunctioning water heater. When Dave called me back, another plumber had already come by and seemingly resolved the issue, but Dave still spent 5-10 minutes on the phone with me asking about the malfunction and offering some valuable advice. Can't speak to the quality of his workmanship, but his demeanor and customer service over the phone were just stellar. read more

These guys are the best!! We have had them in our home several times to address plumbing problems, most recently a leaking garbage disposal. We called at 11:30 am, they arrived by 1:30 and everything was repaired and cleaned up by 2:15. You can not go wrong with Renew Plumbing! read more

Been using Dave for years after using other plumbers. Renew stood out from the rest, always very quick to respond, always on time, always professional, always fixed the problem, and always reasonable. They have installed 3 toilets in the house, fixed a few sinks. There is no one else in the area I'd use. read more

I called Dave to get a second opinion on a sewer line issue we were having on a second home. Dave took the time to check out the issue and gave me his professional advice. His advice ended up saving me thousands of dollars. The sewer line to the home had tree roots infiltrating it and had caused a back up... The area of concern needed to be dug up and replaced (under the asphalt drive). Dave's advice was to contact the utility company. He noticed that the area of concern was close to the city sewer connection and might be their issue. He was right. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and trade professionals in my life, and I can't recall of a past experience where anyone had given me advise that would save me money... Until now. Thanks Dave!!! read more

Dave is an honest, straight-shooting plumber. He helped us out on the weekend prior to a home inspection. He said he would be here about an hour and told us the price. He was dead on and the heater works great. Just needed some routine maintenance. He is the only plumber I would call. read more

Dave showed up within 15 minutes of my call, got to work, and resolved the symptom immediately. After that he looked deeper into how to stop my problems from happening again and replaced a worn part, which was quite welcome. Thanks for a job well done! read more

There's a reason Dave only has 5 star reviews. He only does 5 star work. He recently completed 2 projects for me. He replaced 2 old toilets and added a gas line out to my new fire pit. While he was installing the toilets he noticed that the bathroom had been recently painted and came to ask if I wanted to finish up the spot behind the toilet before he installed the new one. I never would have thought of that but he did and it was awesome that he gave me the opportunity to finish it up. But Dave doesn't just do good work. He's highly responsive, communicative, honest and just a really nice guy and he genuinely wants to know if you're not happy. But really, I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a plumber, stop and call Dave. You won't regret it. read more

Don't bother calling around... save yourself time and hire Renew Plumbing. Dave and Josh are professional, thorough and most importantly, honest. I've had them replace a hose bib at a rental and install a shower valve in our own home. I also had them come out to replace a hose bib in our garage because I thought the back flow protection was broken... after Josh assessed the situation he said, "I could replace this for you, but I would be charging you for something that is working correctly." No charge for even showing up. These guys are the model for how trades should run a business. Thank you Dave and Josh for your exceptional service! read more

Dave Schmidt is the only plumber I would hire in Bend, OR. He is honest, on time, and takes great pains to keep your house clean as he is working. I hired him to install a new sink, garbage disposal and hot water heater in a hurry, as the plumber I had originally hired kept putting it off. Dave was able to save me money, substituting some of what he already had on his truck for some of the more expensive but inferior products that I had purchased at Home Depot. Dave got the sink installed, and when it turned out that he was going to have to cut some tile to make the sink fit, protected the rest of the house from dust. I wish I could take him with me when I move, it took me a long time to find him, and I am so bummed that I am going to have to find a new plumber in my new city! read more
