I had my gas turned off on a Sunday evening due to a leak and Stark Plumbing called me back right away and had someone out to me quickly. I did make several phone calls to other companies and Stark were first to be able to help me quickly. Stark Plumbing to the rescue! We had a major kitchen shut off valve disaster and had to shut off water to the entire house. I called Stark Plumbing right at 5pm. Colleen sent Frank out right away all the way out to Crooked River Ranch. He replaced both kitchen valves so we could have water to the rest of the house. Frank was quick, clean and efficient. Stark Plumbing, the 'broken promise company'. Their lack of commitment to finish a job and work with their requested timeline is an unacceptable business practice. I have never experienced this type of behavior in my 25 years as a general contractor. Any conscientious contractor knows that it's not when you can start, it's when you can complete the job. Finally, a plumbing company who does not overcharge, is very reasonable on their rates, is honest and highly professional, and who does the highest quality work! Stark Plumbing is absolutely top notch and highly professional. We called our appliance home warranty company when we found our water heater was leaking badly, and due to floor and wall water damage it was highly important that it be repaired as soon as possible. The warranty company was great, and scheduled a plumber to come out but unfortunately this occurred on Christmas Eve. (this year), and no one could come out until the day after Christmas. The plumber they sent out gave them a bid to replace our water heater that was so high that the warranty co. refused, (though this was the company they chose). This plumber's replacement charge was going to be $2357.! Plus another $1175. if a temporary setup was needed (while the restoration company worked on the floors). PLUS charging us out of pocket another $1175. for necessary misc. parts. The markup on these parts was anywhere from 6 to 10 times the cost! (For example, they said a simple $20. ball valve would cost $183.78, and a simple $20. drain pan would be $241.12!) No wonder the warranty company refused their charges! Finally we cashed out with the warranty company so we could choose our own plumber. The restoration company (which is replacing and repairing the floors and walls) referred me to Stark Plumbing. Frank from Stark came out the same day I called them; he was highly professional and skilled, and promptly took out the old water heater and set up the new one in a few hours. The total charge was $1059. including the new water heater! (A new Bradford White) I can't speak highly enough for Frank and for Colleen at Stark Plumbing! They are the plumbers we will call for all our needs in the future, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing a plumber. read more

Colleen the manager is amazing. She is efficient and a clear communicator. She deals with insurance and customers in a very pleasant manner. She works with you and she obviously knows a lot about plumbing herself. I texted her photos of the issue and that was helpful in her building a quote for my repair. She also finds ways to get you in sooner if she can. They are very booked out. It's not abnormal to wait 2-3 weeks for this company to have time. But they are worth it! Stark Plumbing has been great to work with. I had them replace a faucet set and a garbage disposal. In both cases I got a cost estimate prior to the service. In both cases the cost estimate was exactly what I was charged. Stark communicates well, from setting the appointment to finishing the job. You get an email estimate, a reminder of the appointment and a text letting you know that the plumber is on the way on the day of the appointment. Stark Plumbing has reasonable pricing. The plumper is careful and cleans up after the work is completed. I have used plumbing services in California, Washington and Oregon. I have never had a plumbing service any better than Stark Plumbing. read more

Showed up on time and completed our new sink and faucet installation too our complete satisfaction. Prior to completion, a third party contractor's work was necessary to proceed, but that individual got a better deal somewhere else and cancelled at the last second. Coleen at Stark Plumbing made sure another third party contractor was obtained so everything could proceed in a timely fashion. That extra effort was very much appreciated. We also needed new faucets for our master bathroom sinks, which Stark Plumbing assisted us with selection and installation. Stark Plumbing recently attended to an in-wall leak (the second) in the hot water lines in a rental property we own in Bend. In conversation with Frank it was suggested that I explore the possibility of a warranty replacement of the hot water lines, by the manufacturer of the PEX that had been installed in the house (in 2005). We did, and when the warranty claim was approved, Stark Plumbing came back to completely replace the hot water lines in the house... which they did in 3 days! We had previously spent almost $8K in remediation from the two leaks, now awe will no longer have to worry... without Frank, this would not have happened.
