When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I needed my stove serviced but that didn't happen! I was charged $195 for the cleaning! Called and expressed my concern with no real explanation from them! I wouldn't recommend them for pellet stoves as they lied about their service but gladly took payment for a nothing job! Terrible! Don't say you do a job when actually you don't !

Just opened my furnace filter compartment from the last visit by quality heating in January to…read morereplace my filter. Was shocked to find a 1" filter in a 5" slot. What the heck? Called for a remedy and to try and understand and the gal said "oh that's no problem!" and I was like "it's a problem, I don't understand why the wrong filter is installed". She said they didn't charge for the filter and they could send someone out to fix but they would need to charge for the correct filter. I said "let me get this right, you put in the wrong filter and now you want to come back and put in the correct filter, but I have to pay for it?" She said maybe the smaller filter was placed as a temporary filter. But it wasn't noted and if it was temporary it's been close to 5 months so she apologized for the mistake but was unwilling to do anything meaningful. I asked if there was anything they could do and she kept saying they could install the correct filter as a cost. So I'm done with these guys. Installing a 1" filter in a 5" slot can do damage to a furnace. It doesn't seal properly and the surface area of filter is 4-10x less - so it clogs up much much faster.

The second time was the day I was getting ready to catch a plane for a 2 week vacation, leaving behind one houseguest and a couple of cats. My upstairs A/C decided to go out. Talk about stressful!
