These guys rock! They were fast, efficient, they didn't try to upsell me, they left everything sparkling clean. Highly recommend!

In the past 6 months we've had Sweep Above Chimney Service install a pellet stove, performed a chimney sweep, and install a new pad under a wood stove in our home. A very professional and capable crew for anything with a chimney. read more

I was amazed how much better our chimney was cleaned and they even pointed out hazard spots in the lining. Their pricing was great and the employees a pleasure to work with!!! read more

Jeff and his team did an absolutely fantastic job with a new install at our house in Sisters. The install was not an easy one, (extremely steep roof pitch) but they did got the install done in about 5-6 hours, the work was done really well, they cleaned up-and took care of the space while installing. I personally could not recommend them more. read more

The Sweep above crew does an amazing job and they are very professional. great team and highly recommended

Great locally owned father and son business. We have had them sweep our chimney for over 10 years and also had them install a new wood stove for us. They came in well below the quotes of other companies and explained the whole process to us. It's good to see businesses with integrity and honesty still. I wouldn't recommend any other company for you gas, wood or pellet stove needs! read more

Had a great experience with A Sweep Above. My gas stove wasn't lighting, and Carson came out and fixed it quickly. Super efficient, knew exactly what he was doing, and honestly just a fun guy to be around. Made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Highly recommend. read more

One star for cleaning the wood stove pipe and assuring air flow. One star for the assistant who was courteous and professional. They did not show up for appointments, twice. After the first appointment servicing, an iron Baffle bar fell from the top inside of the stove, onto my fire. Called them to come out and fix it, did not show, had to call them again. Second time out, used my brand new gloves without asking, to move bricks and bars around inside the stove. They removed an iron T-Baffle Support and a S-Baffle support that holds the bricks in place and said it was okay without them. A friend of mine who is a Fire Marshal was at my house recently and noticed the Baffle bars outside of the stove and said that this was now a fire hazard as the bricks could fall into the fire and spill out of the wood stove. I now had to spend $150 to another company to have the wood stove put back together properly with bricks and the original Baffle Bars. read more

When scheduling I shared I had two fireplaces/chimney and was quoted $200. When he arrived an hour late he said which chimney and then said it would be $325 for 2. He spent 30 minutes in total at my house during which I could hear him cussing and berating his assistant. He then spray painted my stove pipe and marks on my stove inside my home without asking which has left my stove looking like a rattle can car and my house smelling of spay paint. He never went on the roof, or inspected the actual chimney. read more

I got a good reference from a lady here in Lapine, Oregon about A Sweep Above Chimney Services . Has Bend , Oregon address , but he lives in LaPine he has told me . Jeff was his name . He did not run a test once he deemed it repaired , and it hasn't been ran since until recently . It was manufactured in 2017 , which isn't old . He told my terminal daughter to get on Google to read the manual . It literally smokes up the house within 10- 15 minutes and then shuts down . He told her she didn't know how old it was , when we all clearly do . He left after he started it . Wasn't there long enough to see that it smokes really bad . Asked her tonight what she did to it . She only has tried to use it twice lately with colder nights since he supposedly fixed it weeks ago. Mind you he did NOTHING the first time out , and brought the WRONG parts the second time . Weeks later comes back and says hes fixed it , and leaves- not staying long enough to see it smoking badly and shutting down . Now we are trying to get him to come back and show how he thinks it's working . He was pretty rude to her over the phone . I wouldn't recommend this guy at all . He also told her she needs to read how finicky they are . I think he's in the wrong business ! We hired him on a good reference , and this is what we get . He had no want to walk her thru the steps over the phone , Incase she didn't know , but told her when he was in the area next he would come by and show her , but there would be a fee . Mind you , it's doing exactly what it was when we called him in the first place . I am furious !!!!! read more
