When I complained they said "listing was a mistake so here's your money back". I didn't want a refund. I wanted the 12 pot holders I agreed to buy as advertised and described on Amazon by Wasserstrom. Clearly a breach of the retail contract that I, Wasserstrom, and Amazon agreed to when I committed to buy the TWELVE pot holders for $9.73 Wasserstrom blamed Amazon but Amazon was adamant that an accurate item description was the responsibility of the selling partner... Wasserstrom. Amazon was no help at all but then all of a sudden the 12 pot holders were relisted on Amazon as 12 pot holders for $31.99 So is it fraud, bait & switch, breach of contract, or deceptive advertising? I'll see what the FTC says. Wasserstrom has been in business for 120 years. I wonder how many customers they have defrauded and ripped off in those 120 years?

It always pays to invest in quality cookware. If you take care of it they often last a lifetime. If you look at it that way the items in this store cease to be expensive and become a great value. While there I noticed Sur La Table had knocked out some of William Sonomas walls which elongated the store and also allowed for a much bigger cooking class area. The store was beautiful. My partner and I have purchased and assembled countless IKEA pieces. We have our couch (Sleeper sectional, 3 seat w/storage), kitchen table, recliner, desk, shoe cabinet, dresser, and floor lamps, to name a few of the larger purchaes. But we also love all the little items like storage crates, holiday décor, kitchenware, utensils, cups, mugs, clothes hangers, and rugs. Price was fabulous for the cabinets and they are really good quality cabinets. To this day, 10 years later they still wow people! They built the cabinets and I installed them to save money. They installed the granite, sink, faucet and backsplash. I was absolutely impressed with the quality and workmanship, I have a window trim flute style with square blocks that I was nervous about the backsplash being cut around it correctly. Well, Fit like a glove! Really impressed with the details. What brings me to write this review 10 years later is my brother is about to do his kitchen and ask me where I got my cabinets and granite. Over the last 10 years I've redone my bathrooms and got granite countertops and sinks from L and E also. The only complaint I have the hinges on the cabinets are forever breaking. Self close ones are just terrible quality, I've been in a couple, three times to get replacements, but other than a bath the cabinets look the same as they did when I installed them. No fading, scratching, cracking whatsoever, still beautiful to look at. I do need to get my granite cleaned and polished back up.
