Okay, so clearly the other reviewer is one of those people that just write a review based on one really good or one really bad experience. I'm just going to call them out on it now. I've never had a problem with service, and normally the customer service desk is the only register that's open unless it gets busy. Every time I go, someone always asks me if I need help, and when I bought a pot and pan set, a much stronger sales associate helped carry it to the registers.
Bed, Bath, and Beyond is mecca for furnishing your kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom with stuff that's a step up from some stores but a step down from any place that you would find at a mall (ie Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware. While I would love $500 sheets...I just don't have that kind of money) without sacrificing any sort of quality. You can still get super plush towels and beautiful sheets, and a lot of the kitchenware is the same brand that you would find at the department store or specialty store, Calphalon pans, Wusthof knives. Simple Human trash cans.
The benefit of Bed Bath and Beyond is that they always run promotions for buying x amount of dollars from this brand, get this free or those 20% off coupons that you get in the mail.
TIP: SAVE THOSE STUPID COUPONS! Almost no one knows this, but even though there is an expiration date on it, the coupons never expire. NEVER EXPIRE. NEVER EXPIRE!!!!! AHHH!!! I have coupons from 2008 that I'm using now that I moved into a new apartment. When I first moved out of the dorms, one of my mom's employees gave her a huge stack of Bed Bath and Beyond coupons and we were like "These are all expired!" and threw them all away like idiots.
Anyways, continuing with this review, it's important to keep in mind that often times when you need to spend x amount of dollars for such and such a promotion, when you use your 20% coupon, you don't get the promotion. The knives I bought came with a knife sharpener as a promotion, but I wanted to save the money instead so I used the 20% off coupon.
Because of the location, this Bed Bath and Beyond is a place to avoid that fateful move in weekend for OSU. Get whatever you need the week before and stay clear of the crazy minivans full of extra long twin shets and Joe Buckeye's dorm essentials, and don't come back until the week after when they might have had a chance to restock everything.
Either way, with my stack of 20% off coupons, Bed Bath and Beyond is my go to place to stock up on things for my kitchen and bathroom. Save those coupons! read more
