We had a minor plumbing emergency with our kitchen sink today and had no idea who to call. I remembered driving past Tony's truck each time we enter and exit the freeway, and after reading the reviews on Yelp decided to call him. Luckily he was in the area just around the corner. He came over, was extremely polite and accomodating, and was done with the work in about 15 minutes. I cant tell you how much of a load off of my mind this was, I have come to find that I really have absolutely no plumbing skills outside of turning a facuet off and on. Thankfully there are talented, polite, and VERY FAIR plumbers in the area that you can turn to. I know how much we all regret calling a plumber because of the unknown costs, but let me tell you this: Tony is extremely fair and should be the first one on your list when something needs to be done. I'll be passing his cards out to all of my neighbors and hopefully soon he wont be too busy to take my call again! read more

I called Tony at noon and he said he was busy working on some pipes and would be over in a couple of hours. sweet same day service! he came shortly after one hour. As a first time home renter i was kinda nervous at how the whole plumber process worked. Tony was actually a pleasure to work with and had genuine care for the good "health" of my plumbing system. I had a clogged sink and jammed garbage disposal. He fixed them pretty quick and warned me of all the other problems with my plumbing system that i needed to let my land lord know about. The price wasnt cheap or overly expensive but its like giving a waiter a good tip for great service, sometimes you want them to enjoy the benefits from their labor. Was happy to pay him his price. Lastly, hes honest, kind, loyal, and was a pleasure to have. quick service and easy transactions. Thanks tony! read more

The best best best best at EVERYTHING. Conscientious. Thorough. Reasonable. Tony and Cuit explain EVERYTHING and keep explaining through whatever process they're working on. From the first call to the final result, everything was fast and efficient. I had a leaky shower valve and broken handle. Robert quickly assessed the issues, knew exactly what had to be done, gave me a ball park figure on the spot, and lastly we agreed to a date and time for him to come back. (I called late Friday afternoon). Robert came back at the exact time we agreed to and in less than 45 minutes I was inspecting a job well-done. Robert is friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommend. read more

My pilot light went out on my water heater for good and i was thrilled to learn the gas company wouldn't touch it as the venting in the closet was not to code. Not having hot water for over a month, added to imminent sale/loss of the home, had this homeowner on the brink of losing my freaking mind, but along came Rob who saved the day. He deftly recommended a cost-efficient way to replace the heater and bypass the venting that did not set me back half as badly as i was expecting. And - he was a professional and a gentleman throughout the entire process, taking my near meltdown in stride, with kindness. i cannot recommend Rob and A Few Good Plumbers enough. read more

We had an emergeny issue. Our 1/2 bath, laundry room & kitchen got backed up, and we had out of town guests staying with us!! I called Tony & he happened to be in the area. He was at my home in 20 mins! He quickly assesed the problem & knew exactly what to do. He gave me a very fair price & the problem was fixed in a couple of hours. I would absolutely recommend Tony to anyone who needed a plumber. Tony is friendly, honest, his prices are very reasonable and he's fast! Thanks again Tony you saved the day!!!! read more

I had seen Tony's trucks around so I thought I would give him a call when we were having some issues with our sewer. He came out and gave us a diagnosis...it was not pretty. We needed to completely replace our sewer line (the house was built in the 40's and there were some root issues). He spelled everything out for me and was very flexible. They ended up doing a trenchless sewer replacement and although it was not cheap, I know it is something we will never have to worry about again. Since then he or Robert has come out on a couple of calls. They are honest and professional and do what they say they will do when they say they will do it. I only wish I had known them when we remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms. When you find a good barber, mechanic or plumber you stick with them. Minor or major repairs, we will be sticking with A Few Good Plumbers from now on!!!! read more

Expensive and disorganized. I don't recommend. Receptionist needed to put me on hold four times and then ultimately call me back before making an appointment. Then it was $110 just to show up and another $100+ for the actual work. Finally, the guy who showed up didn't seem very knowledgeable and had to keep calling into the office to determine what work needed to be done. They get two stars for showing up at all - since half the plumbers on yelp just don't bother. read more

As soon as Tony found out that I have more than one plumber to give me a quote on a not so small job, his attitude changed and he basically didn't even want to bother to come. He said that he doesn't want to waste his time on people who are getting more than one quote. Completely unprofessional and I am not sure where all the good reviews came from, most likely self reviews or friends. read more

Finding a professional and honest plumber was appearing to be more difficult than winning the lottery. For almost one month I'd been dealing with plumbers that my warranty was sending for a backed up shower. The first plumber quoted $1,800 to $2,500 for a drain leak but never even bothered checking with the warranty to see if they would approve any of it. After 3 weeks of waiting, the warranty submitted an "emergency" claim to another plumber on Saturday. We waited all day and he never showed up. The next day, after a lot of aggravated calls to my warranty company, they agreed to let me use Tony and be reimbursed. I called Tony Sunday morning and he was at my house by noon. He snaked the drain and inspected all of the pipes under the house via the crawl space. He drew me a diagram showing me exactly what was wrong and what he would be doing to repair it. The quote: $600. Even though he does not work with warranties, he called the warranty with the diagnosis and quote to see if any portion of it would be covered. He truly went above and beyond to help me and I truly appreciate it. Thank you Tony!! read more

Tony is an honest reliable guy! He serviced our home and fixed a "mickey mouse" job that the previous plumber had done. He gave us a great price for a true quality service which is guaranteed. He was able to detect the problems we had right away and fixed our problem for good. Now we have piece of mind and we know who to call for future emergencies that arise. In a nut shell the name says it all "A few good plumbers" I took the time to write this review because I have am so tired of getting ripped off by a bunch of unprofessional guys who claim to give great service and just leave everything worst. Thanks again Tony! - Orlando read more

I manage a restaurant in Azusa while I live in Seattle. Thanks to yelpers, I found Tony's company. It's an emergency issue and Tony was able to go fix the problem that my restaurant has within a couple of hours on the same day (on Father's day!!). His fee was relatively fair and at first I was very afraid that it would be at a high price. Tony and his company will be my go-to plumbing company that I will use from now on. read more

Dammmmmmmm... I hate having to call a plumber, but wait now i have Tony. I called Tony and he came to my shop within an hour. (I had a cracked pipe) I thought it would have cost me at least $700 to fix, but Tony said he could fix it for $80. Thats right i said $80. He also gave me an option to repipe the drain for $400. At those prices it was a no brainer. When he was done he cleaned up. NO MORE LEAKS read more

Check out my tip...Tony was great and he provided fast affordable service with honest advice. If I have any future plumbing needs, he's the guy I'm calling! read more

Called to get a quote. Girl that answered had me on hold and sounded like she was doing 15 things at once. Sent pics to a number in order to get quote. Never came. So I called and asked to make sure I texted the correct number and follow up. Girl on phone said let me check I'll call you back. Never heard back. No services obviously. So can't comment on work, but I'm glad I can see before hand how a business conducts themselves. read more

I had an emergency on Sunday evening when one of the pipes burst and started flooding my basement. I called A Few Good Plumbers and the guy who took my call was immediately understanding and helpful. He got in touch with the plumber - Angel - who called me back right away. He came over super fast - on a Sunday evening! - and went to work replacing the pipe that had burst. He was nice, knowledgable, helpful, fast and efficient. He showed me what had happened to the pipe and explained why, showed me where he'd replaced it and all was well again. And all for a fair price! I would definitely recommend them and would use them again. Thank you so much Angel and A Few Good Plumbers for coming to the rescue!! read more

First of all I have never been motivated to write a review until now. I had a leak in the main water line to my property. I attempted to fix it on my own. Not a good idea. I ended up making the problem worse. After spending my whole Saturday afternoon on the project I decided to call in the pros. Tony, the owner, took the time to come out on a Sunday morning. It was also Father's Day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I really should have called him in the first place. I will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing jobs. He is very deserving of this five star rating. read more

Excellent service, honest and fair! Tony is professional and a really good guy. My husband called him when line backed up a few yrs ago (due to tree roots) we had to call him a few other times. Always super service! Thanks Tony read more

I had a great experience working with A Few Good Plumbers. He set up an acceptable appt time, arrived on-time, assessed the situation and offered a reasonable quote to fix the issue. He was clear and thorough in telling me what work he'll be doing and how long it would be. When I advised him what the other plumbing company had quoted me, he advised that while it was an acceptable solution, it was very invasive to my walls (breaking away the walls to re-pipe) and he found an easier solution that would work just the same. His creative thinking was definitely appreciated!! His solution with the routing of the pipes has been working well with no problems at all. I've was pleased with the excellent service and comprehensive work that he did, I'd recommend A Few Good Plumbers to anyone in the area they service. I'm keeping them on my Contact List for any other future problems! :) read more

While staying with my parents for a few weeks, the kitchen sink and washing machine backed up. I dug around for a few reviews (found this company on yelp) and here's the story: I called Tony this morning a little after 9, said I needed a drain snaked, discussed pricing, and I asked when he could be here... Said he would call in 2 hours, instead of calling he was here in a bit over an hour and a half. Ended up snaking two drains, and patiently listened to my mom while she asked 1000 plumbing related questions. He's a small company, fully licensed, bonded and insured Lic #959879 unlike the big "rooter service" where you have no idea if these people are licensed or insured. I would without hesitation recommend AFGP if you need to have a service call for your elderly parents, or anyone who isn't savvy when it comes to dealing with service people. Tony is an up-front, professional guy. He was done quick, did two drains, and charged less than those smell good plumbers charge for one. read more

I needed a plumber, and I didn't know who to contact so I quickly started researching plumbers in the area and came across A Few Good Plumbers. After reading one positive review after another, I decided to give them a call. Tony was on site within a couple of hours. He used a camera to help identify the problem and the images were sent to me so that I too could see the extent of the damage. He offered a cost-efficient solution and had his crew working on the pipes in no time at all. Safety seems to be a top priority for Tony and his crew. The area that was excavated during the job was carefully marked and secured to prevent accidents. Upon completion, everything was returned to its original state. I would highly recommend A Few Good Plumbers. Tony will keep you informed every step of the way, and you will be impressed with the finished product. Honest, respectful, hard-working, and knowledgeable...when it comes to plumbing, they are my new go-to-guys. read more

When i had my plumbing issue, I asked around but noone had a good plumber they could recommend. So I found Tony on yelp. I called Tony about leaks from my upstairs bathrooms. He took his time to explain the tests he was doing to determine the problem. He had to knock a hole in the ceiling downstairs to troubleshoot because the pipes could not be easily reached upstairs without ripping out the tub wall. He took his time and gave some recommendations but could not finish the job because a part needed to be ordered for the older plumbing. We took the "cheaper" route to see if that would fix the issue because the expensive route would require ripping out a tub. When he came to do the actual work after he got the parts, he informed me that he had revised his plan because he did his homework and analyzed the problem again at home, based on our discussions. The route he chose avoided replacing the more costly valve replacement, and the have leaks stopped. He charged a fair price, and seemed genuinely concerned about getting to the root of the problem without trying to upsell anything, and he got the job done quickly. He was clean and courteous and explained everything he was going to do. I've been gouged by another plumber before and had been dreading the next time I have plumbing issues. But now I have the goto person for my plumbing needs. read more

We had a pretty small job, but it was an emergency due to the fact we had to turn the water off from the main line. that means no water for the whole house. we had Tony come out, he did a great job and made sure there were no leaks even in the old plumbing. did I mention it was 7:30 am on fathers day and it was already 85 degrees outside. he took the time away from his family to fix our little problem. now thats what I call great customer service. we will defiantly use him again. read more
