We had a great experience with Amado plumbing . They were professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and completed the work efficiently and neatly. The pricing was fair with no surprises, and they took the time to make sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. I have used them for several years and would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be using their services again in the future. read more

Before moving from Montrose, California., Amado Plumbing was our go to plumber. As a Realtor, this was the company that I would recommend with confidence. read more

What's better than timely and expertly done plumbing services from kind and considerate business owners?!? This family business is top notch, and "locally grown;" the best of the best. That said, I hope I don't need more plumbing services anytime soon! read more

I've been using Amado plumbing for the last 5 years now and have nothing but great things to say about their service. We had an emergency situation at our home during the holidays and Lynn jumped right on it. Lynn and Mary Ann truly treat you like family, thank you for all that you do! read more

Lyn and his assistant wore face masks and were very friendly and helpful. I called for a leaking hose bib, but since he was knowledgeable we trusted him and it led to other jobs. Lyn explained exactly what he was doing and why, and he shared his knowledge with us. We're so glad we called his company. Will be using Lyn for any future plumbing issues, and will refer him to others! read more

I hired Amado plumbing to install a downspout in my tub. It was installed but was positioned at an angle. A piece of the tile was chipped and open to the dry wall. I called him back to center and fix the downspout. I asked him to please be careful of my plants since he had to enter from the outside of my outside wall. I told him I wanted to inspect the work but he left very quickly without any communication. I discovered my plants were destroyed without any communication from him. I find this treatment and the poor installation of the down spout with a call to come back and fix the problem to be unprofessional with an uncaring attitude of the damage he did to my plants which will not survive his clipping major branches. read more

The owner Lynn Amado is pleasant, knowledgeable and in my opinion honest. In my opinion the best plumber in La Crescenta.

They are a fantastic local plumbing company that is family owned and they take care of business every time.

I was in the process of purchasing a property in Glendale that needed major plumbing work done. We needed 2 new toilets installed and a main water line repipe. We found Amado plumbing online and decided to give them a try. The owner came quoted us and was done with the job before the deadline. He was super easy to work with and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to anyone! read more

I called Amado about the pipes. He showed up and started to point out different things wrong at our house for no reason. Then he overcharged me for fixing something that took five minutes. My husband wasn't home and I think The guy takes advantage of "single" women. I knew he was overcharging me but since he showed up very quickly after I called, I saw it as an additional fee. However I would not use him again. read more

Mr Lynn Amado, owner, is so helpful and knows old house plumbing very well. Redid our shower valves and put in new faucet in kitchen. His co-worker, Billy, very thorough. Give him five stars read more

Amado Plumbing was referred to me by a trusted source. I called him about a small but quirky issue that my normal plumber had thrown his hands up over. Before we got to the small issue, we looked under the house and saw sewer water everywhere. My 75 year old pipes had finally given out. They started that afternoon and replaced all my sewer pipes under the house. He even replaced some pipes that he hadn't quoted on, and cleaned out my main sewer line without charging me. They were under my house for six days. They seem to have done a great job on this big job. Oh, and the small but quirky job I originally called him out for? Fixed that too at no additional charge. I found them extremely professional and they had my full confidence throughout the job. Recommended. read more

I have used Amado Plumbing for over 20 years. They are very professional and Lynn does a great job. I really appreciate that the owner is always on the job with his multiple years of plumbing experience. Many plumbing businesses send young employees with very little knowledge of the plumbing business. read more

Lynn Amado did a super job on a small project in my Glendale apartment. He was what we all want in a professional: knowledgeable, efficient and with affordable fees. Years afterward -- and after having moved from the area 2 decades ago -- I still have his card so I can recommend him to friends who still live in the area and might need a really good plumber. He's that good. read more

I have used. Lynn. A few times in the past, they always see to get the job done. I just think the Lynn acts unprofessional at times. He yells.and yells at his employee. I think that is inappropriate and the little guy, his employee just takes it. Lynn is a bit of a bully. It seems to me Lynn does a lot of talking and he made a mess out of my front yard with my hose, while the little guy did all to under the house work. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. The job was done in a week. Too long. read more

Had Lynn out to clear a blockage in a toilet in an apartment. He was not able to clear it right awayand due to another person wanting to use another plumber had to ask him to stop his work. They would have likely cleared it if given time. I spoke to the office and they agreed to zero out the invoice, we compromised at a reduced amount. This proves to me that they put the interests of their customers above all, they have always been fair and continue to do quality work at a fair price. read more

Pricey, but good service. Showed up when they said they would, handled the problem with our water heater effectively, and even stopped by a few days later to make sure everything was still working okay. The receptionist Maryanne is also very nice and very responsive, always picks up the phone or calls you back promptly if you leave a message. Lynn Amado is a real character, knows all the stories since he grew up in the area, has an opinion on everything. If you don't mind paying extra for good follow-up, then try Amado Plumbing. read more

Used Amado plumbing years ago and had a terrible experience and was telling the story to my sister about the nightmare and she said I should write a review. Well here goes, I'm in the middle of remodeling my kitchen and bathroom so let me paint the picture. The entire floor and all the cabinets were out all the pipes were exposed from the top. Well the house was built in 1920 and had classic lath and plaster walls and ceilings. Our bedroom was directly under the kitchen. So they had a leak somewhere along the line and I told them about it. Well Lynn sent out one of his guys at 60 bucks an hour who did not even speak English. I explained to Lynn and this guy that all the pipes were exposed upstairs and I had to go to work and could they fix the problem before we put the floor and the cabinets in. Fine! I come home to find a 3 foot by 4 foot hole in my ceiling. Now you have to appreciate this I could see right up through the roof to the kitchen. He said he needed to "get to the pipes" WHAT! It was totally exposed from upstairs! I was and still am livid. Another story I had pine trees in my front yard the branches however were probably 10 feet up. Well I was out watching this guy sweat pipes and he lights my tree on fire! Luckily was put out with a fire extinguisher that he had. He almost was responsible for burning down a neighborhood that is the oldest in the area. Nuff said. Just a bad idea. read more

The initial quote was almost double what I expected plus there was a little too much bullshit about how he would push 3 other jobs aside to do mine first, etc. I countered that my job was not that urgent, did not need to be so perfect, etc. etc and eventually got the price quite close to what I expected. Then he showed up first thing next morning as he obviously did not have 3 other jobs. Quality seemed fine, so just watch out for the opportunist/bullshit talk and bargain him down to about 1/2 the original quote. read more

Being a single Mom I appreciated Lynn's honesty. He fixed my problems using minimum parts and the cost was affordable. Highly recommend Amado Plumbing!!!! read more

Small job, leak under bathroom sink. Took appointment Sunday, came Monday afternoon. Billy was professional and quick to fix. Not the cheapest but definitely the best I have used. Will recommend and use them in the future. read more

Overcharged. Took several weeks when a friend had a similar job at a bigger home that took half the time my house did. Left trash all over the lawn and driveway. Did not want to commit to times / days to work. Asked for a key (no way). Friendly enough, but that's not what they were being paid for. read more

LOVE Amado plumbing! Lynn has been doing our plumbing for years and is always on time and gets the jobs done quickly.
