My battery died in a grocery store parking lot. They came, tried to jump and it didn't work. They said they couldn't tow and didn't have anyone available. Weird, a towing company with no tows. Then they had the nerve to ask for payment (cash only, shady), even though they did nothing, for the call. I then called a reputable company, they gave me a jump that worked and a tow to a repair shop. No repairs, no tows. read more

ZaY saved the day with helping me jump my car. The most affordable in the area which is a plus for me as a college student. Def recommended Emerald Towing read more

After State Farm wanted me to wait for the Second Coming of Christ, I called Zay to be towed. He arrived within his estimated time, got my car to my regular repair shop. Also tried to help me find another place to help. But it was after hours. When I forgot to get my receipt, he went out his way to bring me one. This is a black-owned business which I will use again. And would recommend to others. read more

Wonderful service, great rates. I was out running errands on Memorial Day, when, without warning, my car just wouldn't start. Not only was A Emerald open - they didn't quote me a ridiculous markup, due to the holiday. Zay arrived within the estimated time, and provided excellent service. Thanks so much for everything! I will be recommending your company in the future. read more

Emerald Towing is an excellent towing and repair service. Zay went above and beyond to help me get my disabled car out of one garage and into another. It was not an easy or simple task, and required some extra time and muscle. Most towers would have passed up this job, but Emerald Towing took it and did a great job. I was very impressed, and definitely recommend. read more

I needed to jump start a car on a very cold day. The hood was frozen down, and the battery needed alot of coaxing before it showed any spark. The fellow who showed up (very promptly!) was patient and knowledgeable, and got the job done efficiently. Thanks! read more

Zay came thru & got us home in no time! & at a fair price. I'm so glad we found this service... We were stranded when our exhaust pipe began dragging under the car. We were afraid it might create sparks as we drove or further damage the car. After calling A Emerald, Zay was there within 15 minutes (actually less, I think). He got me, my husband, my baby girl & our car home safely. I'm sold! Definitely will be using this service again. read more

One week ago today my husband and I were driving South on LSD to an event in HP where we were expected to arrive early. We hit a pot hole on the S curve (as did many others) and immediately realized that we had a flat tire. Our GPS sent us to a BP station at 439 S Pershing, off of MLK Dr. This "service station" only provided gas. The genial manager, Mr. Darryl Smallwood gave us a card for A Emerald Towing AND found a ride for us to Hyde Park. We talked with Zay. He said not to worry about it. They would put on the spare. We left our event, made a 3 minute stop at the BP station, picked up our car and drove home with no problem. THANK YOU ZAY and Mr. Smallwood for great service and more. read more

I called A Emerald after the brakes in my car went out, and the whole process was smooth and easy. Xavier estimated he would arrive in under 40 mins., which he did. I rode with him to the repair shop, and he was a nice interesting guy to chat with; I learned a lot about Chicago house music. I paid a reasonable price with credit card and got an emailed receipt. Definitely the most pleasant towing experience I have had. read more
