AAA has dispatched Lucky's to help me multiple times and all my experiences have more than fair. They are usually faster than the wait time suggests. In one case, I was quoted it would be an hour and 20 mins for a tow and within 10 mins, a driver was calling me to say he was about 10 mins away. Always felt safe. No issues at all. My last experience involved a tire change and after a tow truck driver didn't have the right tools to fix the problem, they found another driver that was less than 10 mins away to come and fix the issue. read more

Woke up to my car removed from my parking spot this morning at my condo. When asked why my car was towed, Lucky's told me I did not have a permit in the window when in fact it was. When I went to retrieve my car they wanted about $175 dollars I asked to see my car first and showed them that my permit was right there in the window in which I was told "oh yea it is...." they then called the driver who told it and asked him "why did you tow it she has the permit in the window" while in the meantime I had to call into work losing wages and waste my time getting a ride out to find my car. read more

My car was towed for parking in a visitor spot with out a guest permit. Fine, no issue there, my friend told me the wrong lot to park in. Our fault. However, when I called at 3am to see if I could pick up my car they said yes as they were open 24/7. When I arrived after paying $25 for an uber, they told me no one was there to release the vehicle and I'd have to return tomorrow to get it. $35 uber ride home since I live further than my friend. I called the next day to ensure someone was there to release my vehicle. They told me that there is always someone there 24/7. When I mentioned what had happened the night before they told me that they don't know why they would tell me that, but refused to reimburse me or discount my tow and that was after another $35 uber ride back to the towing service. Thanks guys. You really are working wonders for the economy. $95 in uber rides and $170 to get my car out. read more

I had called AAA to request to have my battery replaced and the dispatched a gentleman named Jose from Luckys Towing my to replace my battery. I had advised Jose that I previously had my battery tested by another gentleman from another company and he had advised me that my battery needed to be replaced. Jose was aware that my car was starting and insisted that my battery needed to be tested. After cleaning my battery terminals and connecting a device to my car I began to experience malfunctioning with my dash screen and radio. I am now getting a battery and break light displaying on my dash. My display screen for my heat and cooling functions are blank. I called the manager who's name happened to be Jose as well and he was rude and demanded that I resolve the issue directly with AAA. My car is now at the AAA repair location getting tested and I am without a car. Be careful when allowing anyone from Luckys Towing work on your vehicle. read more

These guys work with local police as predators. Just trolling around looking for people who mistakenly parked in an unmarked parking spot. I stopped by a friends for 2 hours in an apartment complex in Palos Hills on Saturday night. Came out and the cops were going up and down checking permits and working with Luckys to tow any car without a parking permit. There were dozens of open spaces. Spaces unmarked as to which are guest and which are resident. Totally disgusting. But then I felt sorry for both the police officers and the people who work for Lucky's. I mean, I don't have to go home to my family and act like I am a worthwhile part of society after sneaking around towing cars at 11:00 in the dark on a Saturday night. Pretty pathetic life they have, so, I can't be mad at them or the $172.50 I had to pay. They can have it. No where near enough to make up for the emptiness they must feel everyday in their worthless lives. And the police....."Serve and Protect".....yeah, ok, right. read more

These guys are awesome! Drivers were totally professional. Both Derrick as well as Dominic were great. Punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and that rare ability to put you at ease. You just know that your car is in good hands. The young ladies in the office are very courteous and helpful. Jose, was a man of his word, which is rare these days. I was on vacation in the chicago area and my motorcycle stopped running. I called my AAA number and Lucky's was the facility that was dispatched to my location. Jose is the gentleman who retrieved me the side of I-55N. Jose was very professional. He phoned me to make sure of my exact position and was there in like 20 minutes. He extra special care of my motorcycle. He phoned a couple of shops and made sure he delivered me to the shop he knew I would get taken care of. The dispatcher had sent him a location on the opposite side of chicago, and he used his knowledge of the city to get me to a better location. Illinois Harley in Countryside. Adan is INCREDIBLE! Yesterday another tech from Lucky's came to put my spare tire on, but this morning my car would not move and when it did, it made an awful metal clicking noise. I called AAA again and they sent Lucky's to tow me, with a new tech named Adan. Adan called twice to update his arrival within 25 minutes and then when he looked at the spare, he immediately knew the issue and got to work. He swapped out the lug nuts and put on the correct ones, which allowed me to drive on my spare. And then he insisted I drive around the block to make sure all of my issues were straightened out, as he waited to make sure all was taken care of before leaving. Adan was so helpful and friendly, I was so grateful. He sincerely resolved a lot of issues for me and the car without a sweat. He's a great tech! If you are in a jam, call Lucky's and ask for Adan. AAA sent us Julius from Lucky's to recover our vehicle and bring it to the repair shop. Julius is the best. Traffic was nuts on the expressway so we followed him on side streets. If we got separated by a light he would pull over so we could catch up. Julius is a great person. You could tell he really cares about the welfare of his customers and their cars. This company does not know what they are doing when it comes to towing a vehicle. I would not advise anyone to use them. They damaged our vehicle with 3K in repairs that need to be made to make our vehicle in driving condition. They are rude and do not take responsibilty for anything. Paul the owner feels that unless it's a luxury vehicle, it's not worth his time to discuss. DO NOT USE THEM! Horrible service with inexperienced tow truck drivers and unprofessional management.
