First, let me start off by saying I have always been a very worried dog mommy when leaving my baby at the spa cause when I would pick her up she was always so miserable. When I started taking navaeh to A Dogs Life , all of my worries melted away. You have an option for "express pickup" which means you can pickup your doggo in your time frame ! This has helped me a lot because navaeh used to be so anxious and now is never shaking and always smiling because ALL the groomers there take care of her . They are the most nicest and most caring facility I have ever brought her to. I live an hour away and I still do not mind making the drive to take navaeh here I finally found a place comfortable for her !! read more

If I could leave a negative star, I would ! Had to rush my beloved dog to the ER after receiving a call from the owner stating that a piece of my dog's ear "fell off" during grooming. She insinuated that I cut it at home and glued it back before taking her to be groomed! If you think I got any kind of an apology or remorse you would mistaken. The owner did however pay for the vet bill in full after being contacted by the vet staff (their decision to do so, not mine) read more

I used to take my little buddy here and we loved it but I could only do it on Saturdays. Sadly, they did away with Saturdays and now I can only take him when I am off which it's very rare. They do an outstanding job with the animals! I highly recommend it. read more

i absolutely LOVE this salon !!! ive been bringing my 4 year old 15lbs miniature poodle here for about a year and a half i'd say ? and im always so happy and amazed after every appointment ! the staff in the front are always so sweet and nice and adore my baby girl. her groomer (i think his name is juan?) always does an amazing job and understands what type of cut i want for my girl. we've always left her head/ears very big and fluffy, as well as her tail and asked for bell bottoms for her legs and a short body, but after a while i wanted her fur shorter since it's such a hassle to maintain her long fluffy fur. so last time we set an appointment (which was a couple weeks ago) we did ask for a much short cut and her groomer did not disappoint !! her head is a lot less fluffy we only wanted her ears very long and fluffy, her body is the same but her legs are very short as well and i absolutely love it !! it's so much easier now to brush her and make sure she doesn't have any matting ! overall i very highly recommend this grooming place. i say the prices are good, really depends on what type of cut you want for your dog. when we first started going her cut was about $65 then she had a 'fancy' cut which was i think $75 ? or $80 i can't really remember. and her most recent cut was again $65. the prices were never really a problem for me since i know shes gonna come out looking amazing. also she doesn't take very long. i usually drop her off at around 9:00-9:30am and she's always ready at around 3:30 which i really like ! 10/10 !! nothing bad to say about this place at all i highly recommend !! read more

I have taken my fur baby to this salon numerous times for more than a year now, and was very happy with their services until my recent visit on May 26, 2023. After picking my dog up, I noticed she was bleeding on her neck under her chin. I called the salon back and ask them what happened I was told they had no idea and I should bring her back. Unfortunately I could not take her right back because I had to go to work so I sent them pictures of the wound. I was told they never received the pictures. They were closed on memorial day so I had to wait until Tuesday, 30 May to go back to the salon when I arrived. I asked them what happened once again they said they had no idea and asked me to bring my dog back in so they could look at it, so I did. The owner whom I had never met before insisted that my dog scratched herself under her neck. I told her that my dog didn't scratch herself like that and she never scratches under her neck. The owner started yelling at me telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and that she has been in the business for over 20 years, when I asked her who she was yelling at, she said she was yelling at me because I wasn't listening to her. I told the owner that I have had my dog since she was eight weeks old and I know her very well because I live with her every day and she never scratches under her neck. Then the groomer came out who is the only person that I ever let my dog go to. He claims that my dog may have scratched herself when she was in the crate. He also stated that he cut her nails, but they do not file them so her nails might've been sharp and that might be what happened. I told him that every time I bring her he cuts her nails and she has NEVER come home bleeding. The owner then said to my groomer " you take care of this because she doesn't believe me". Then she stormed out of the room. All I wanted them to tell me was what happened how it happened and that they were sorry it happened instead, I got yelled at for asking questions and they tried to blame my dog for her injury. On 31 May, I took my dog to the vet who told me that this wound under her neck was NOT from her scratching herself. Needless to say I DO NOT TRUST them to groom my baby anymore Because they weren't honest with me. I know no one is perfect and mistakes happen, but honesty, and owning up to your mistake is imperative. read more

I've also attended several classes Carol the shop owner has given. She's experience and knowledgeable and award winning to boot! Bailey has been going for her monthly grooming a few years now and is always treated like family from day one. There has never been a mishap here like we had with other places. I have taken our dog Buddy to A Dogs Life several times He's a big dog -black lab/golden retriever mix - over a 100 lbs. He is very good natured and lovable, but not a "foo-foo" dog. He is my Buddy. They took very good care of him each time and the groomer; I believe is Christi was very nice and he has an itching problem,and she told me it was dry skin and did an Oatmeal bath. I am very pleased. It wasnt cheap, but I only do it a few times a year, and they clipped his claws and brushed his teeth. I like the place. read more

We took our two Yorkie puppies to A dogs life to get them used to being groomed. Carol came out to meet us and Christi was the one that groomed our babies. Our dogs' cuts turned out to be adorable and our timid dog did well around the groomers. The staff showed genuine care for my pups and answered all of my questions. I have a mini schnauzer who HATES being groomed. We've had awful experiences from other places, mainly 4 Paws Dig It. The front desk staff, owner, and groomer at A Dog's Life were all beyond polite and understanding that my little guy hated being groomed. I dropped him off around 7AM before work and he was done by noon. Most places take HOURS and he was in and out in a very reasonable time. They groomed him exactly how I asked and were very reasonably priced. He looked amazing after I picked him up and I will definitely be back! read more

I recently moved into the area and Cindy was recommended to me by my previous groomer since one of my dogs is reactive to certain things. Cindy did a fantastic job. I could not be happier with her work on both of my dogs, a standard poodle and corgi springer spaniel mix. She was very nice and inviting and had a very calm presence which is exactly what one of my dogs needs. I talked with Cindy about what I wanted and how I wanted both of my dogs cut and she did exactly what I asked for. To be honest I was internally cringing at what the price was going to be for both of my dogs since prices here in this area are higher than where I moved from but it wasn't bad. In my opinion the pricing is very fair and reasonable. One tip that I have is to schedule in advance because a lot of the groomers seem to book up several weeks out. The shop also sells pet beds and accessories that are very cute. There is an A&M outfit that I'm probably going to have to get before football season starts, just saying. This place is terrible! To start, all of the staff and especially the owner are incredibly rude!! No customer service whatsoever. The owner, Carol, is a real pill. She acts as if you are lucky to bring your dog to her grooming salon. Second, this place is a hole in the wall, not even nice inside and waaaaaay overpriced. They charge an arm and a leg for things that should be included in an overall grooming service (nails, brushing, washing). You pay extra for these even if you're getting a full groom!! What does the groom include? A wash. It's not nice, the owner is terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone at all. read more
