Since this post, the actual groomer called me. Not addressing this review-but letting me know one of the people retired, and she hadn't seen my pup in a while-just letting me know. In and of itself the people were friendly about this situation. I was the one getting irritated because they weren't listening. I've since found another place that hears me-and gives me what I request. They give their opinion-sometimes I listen because it's a good idea. But sometimes they just do what I request-regardless of what they think. I just hope this facility does the same. I don't want one bad review to be a lifetime of issues for a company-but maybe they will hear their customers. read more

New owners and the transition has been smooth, especially as the current owner had worked there for some time before the previous owner decided it was time to retire. Sadie loves to stay at Four Paws and they take loving care of her. I've been taking my fur babies there for many years. They do a nice job with nail grinding, body-aligning trimming, and full formal grooming. I typically have them bathe Sadie after a stay, grind her nails and trim her feet. read more

Been going to Mrs Tammy for 5 plus years . Her attitude and her quality has changed throughout the years . She is now a rude woman and handles dogs in a way which made me no longer do business with her again. Tammy has been servicing 4 dogs for me and her workers are nice and polite and do good work but Tammy not so much. I took my 6 month old pup to her a few time's for nail trimming and she never did the Dew Claw and she even noticed it and said wonder why they never cut it out . I noticed she didn't cut it and it was curling up so I went back in and man was she rude . Said im not in a good mood and not to mess with her . I was very upset and told her she should go home then if she was in a bad mood and not deal with customers on stuff she should of done when paid and tipped for She then did the job I paid her for and tossed the clippers on the desk in my direction and said bye and to take my dogs elsewhere as she didn't have time for this crap . I will post this everywhere as I am a Business Owner and no customer should EVER be treated the way I was . You lost some very good customers and it was all over your rude attitude and your actions on how you handled this matter . Dont be fooled by her used to be nice meet and greet she also handles dogs very ruff and has also sent my pups back to me with grooming I didnt ask for and burn rashes for cutting to close . I come in and drop off my dog in the morning and they were really nice I've dropped him off before and nothing like this has happened. As I proceeded to pick my dog up they again were friendly but as soon as I left and got home I started taking pictures of my dog because he looked so cute and then noticed this one spot ... I called and they were so rude and her whole attitude just changed in a instant it angered me because they first said " oh it was because his hair was knotted " then told me he originally had a bald spot there when Ive gotten him many haircuts and have never seen this spot EVER I know my dog better than anyone. Okay let me start off by saying... I AM NOT BLAMING THEM BUT.... My 15yr pug has been going here for years. For overnight stays and also grooming and in the beginning I never had a issue. But towards the end is where my issues started. This past visit ( Feb 4-9) my dog was under there care... Granite she is 15 and very old.... When I dropped her off she was fine. But I was called Tuesday morning and told by the owner " i just want to make sure you get here in time before Shelby passes".... I was like WHAT! Then she says " oh I thought when you dropped her off that you knew she would be passing soon"... So I rush there.. My dog was covered in dry pee and looked malnourished... Also she was not given her daily eye drops because she had horrible eye crust in her eyes & if it was kept up then that wouldn't be happening! So I rushed her to the vet. She said she was in bad shape( which I'm not blaming them for her death) ... So I called the owner and asked what happen.. She said Shelby started showing signs on Saturday... NOBODY CALLED ME!!!!! and they ate closed Sunday & Monday so who knows what my dog was doing then! I asked the vet for food & water and my dog drank 2 bowls of water and then ate entire bowl of food! So clearly this place didn't give her enoigh food & water the entire time they had her! In the end I decided to put myk dog down because her quality of life was already at its end anyway but I just want to know why this place never called me when they noticed a issue and where did they keep her because my dog was covered in dry fences & did they even feed or give her water?????? I feel so guilty leaving her there for 5 days not knowing what really was going on!!!!!! Do not take your animals here!!!!! First red flag is they never ask for shot records! read more

I have taken my dog to this place about 3 times. The last 2 times were very disappointing. My dog is a small Chihuahua Pomerania breed. First time was good.second time the girl that worked on him was about 15yrs old . I told them I wanted hair short it was summertime. I took him home he had 2 cuts one on his hind leg,and close to his ear. And had picked some fleas. The lady said it's normal it happens.today I took him again, he was half shaved , nails were left some short some long. And with cuts and fleas again hair was cut so uneven . I decided not to go there again. I would definitely not recommend that place again. read more

The lady owner is very disrespectful she texted and call us talking crazy when she found out we wasn't paying for something we never asked for. Make sure you pay attention on what you paying because she try to sneak hidden charges and prices go up and down for no reason. Very happy with this place. Great customer service and nice staff. We were going out of town for a week and after using our own vet for the past couple years we decided we needed a change. It seems at our vet, our boxer always had to be given a med for whatever random sickness he came down with while we were gone. So I decided to start searching. I wanted to find a place that wouldn't leave our Max locked in a kennel all day. We called and checked out 4 paws dig it. The staff was very informative. The place was nice and clean. They have nice dog areas your dogs stays in all day and even an little outdoor patio for pet play with the other dogs. At night the dogs are kenneled. Def will use this place in the future as the pricing is great too! Also, your dog gets a nice bath before they come home, Max smelled quite good! read more

I took my babies here to have them groomed and the people here are so kind and sweet to them . They were scared at first and I was afraid to leave them but when I came back they were very happy and playing with the staff. It is very hard to find a groomer that you can trust you kids with and I have found it! They made a believer out of me. One of my yorkies has a bit of a attitude and she was even calm when I got there to pick them up. Also I hate going to a groomer that cuts their hair the way they see fit. If I had to go out of town for anything this would be who I would leave them with because they are so happy there and that is rare. If you have a Yorkie You know how hard it is to get them to trust other people! I love the people here and and how gentle and patient they are with my babies! I got a message from them trying to say that my dog was matted and acting as if she was abused and that they wanted to report me.That's funny because she got her hair cut every other week and was treated better than some peoples children. This used to be the only place I would ever take my schnauzer. Lately, every time we've made an appointment and get there to drop him off the owner claims we never called. I've gotten to the door a few minutes late and she has turned me away. Took the dog there yesterday and after being told we didn't have an appointment she took him in. It was getting close to closing time and we still hadn't gotten a call to come pick him up so my boyfriend went to pick the dog up and he was muzzled, his tongue was sticking out through the muzzle and he was miserable. He was so scared he pooped on the table and they didn't even wipe him off. He's been shaking his head and messing with his ears since he got home and the insides of his ears are covered with dried up blood from being cut. I took my Yorkie to get groomed. I come back to pick him up, as I am leaving I notice blood on his head. I then ask where did this blood come from. He proceeded to tell me that he cut or as he call it nipped my dogs ear. I then look not only is if more than nipped my dog is still bleeding heavily. I asked what happened he stated my dog moved. Well duh he's a damn dog but as a groomer you should've known better to put some scissors to a moving dog head. I would've rather came back to uncut ears than my dog ears bleeding. I have been boarding my little smokey here at Four Paws the last six years. would not take him anywhere else. because he would not stay anywhere else. They have the friendliest staff and it is very clean. When I have to board my little 90 lb. baby it is mostly for five or six days. He is always very happy to see everyone when he gets there. I also use them for grooming and i am always very satisfied. His fur is soft and shiny and smells fresh as a daisy. I could not board him anywhere else. read more

This was the second and last time we will be using this kennel. The first time when we picked up they had no cash for change so we told the guy working we would get change in the next day and bring back the balance and he said that was ok. In the morning the owner called my son making a big deal about it. Perhaps they should have some cash for change. This weekend our family left 4 dogs. Traffic kept us from getting there by 5:00 and they wouldn't stay late so my daughter picked up 2 of the dogs this morning and my other daughter picked up the other 2 this afternoon. The owner changes the prices from what she quoted and added other fees as well as being rude. Too bad her greediness and rudeness just lost her any future boarding and grooming income from my family. read more
