    Chance

I happened to see this boarding place opening near me. I went in and spoke to Oscar about some concerning behaviors with my dog, Chance. After some history we came to understand Chance's herding behaviors. We boarded Chance at Ruff Tales and the biting and other inappropriate behaviors were corrected. I'm so thankful to Ruff Tales. I didn't want to lose my pet that I love. Thank you Ruff Tales!!

I am absolutely shocked and offended by the YELP rating of Tracy Animal Hospital. I fully…read moreunderstand that they can not help all animals for all issues. There is absolutely no doubt that they care and they take disappointing results to heart. I take especial disagreement on the rating comments levied against Kim. She is a very caring person and it is absolutely impossible to turn it off when you have just left a serious situation and meeting a new patient. Dr's Tract I absolutely know they care to the highest level anyone can. Animals are unable to communicate to us and they rely on their superior training that they have had at A&M. We had one emergency with a pet that they could not handle and told us to get her to A&M; Kim had the staff there waiting for us and fully knowledgeable of Dr. Rusty's findings and the staff there hit the ground running. Yes I broke speed limits all the way. Dr. Rusty also communicated with me at all hours of the night here with my Rotties in the Middle East and directed me through every medication and course of action that I could take with the limited resources there. No veterinarian in the country. Dr. Tanner has followed exactly in his father's footsteps as exemplified by his actions today when my Rottie's wound was opened by her actions. He had me send a photo and stopped me from the emergency actions I was about to take and instructed me to get her there immediately. He immediately took emergency action with the same zeal as his father. I have even had one of his technicians confess to comforting my present Rottie sitting on the floor and holding her head and comforting her. She's a protection animal and that didn't stop her. These people are competent and compassionate in every interface we have had with all our animals since 1990. I really resent the callous harsh judgements of the commenters but absolutely do understand grief and the expressions from such. They will remain in or hearts forever as we have reached ages where we can no longer meet the needs of our 4 legged partners in life. Our last cat which was a rescue raised by Kim with siblings that Travis Tracy has is proof of the care and treatment he received from Kim. Dr's Tracy please rest assured you have made tremendous positive impacts in not just our lives but our children's with theirs. That is what is meant by the family Tracy's have created.

We've been taking our German Shepherd, Crosby, to PetSuites Cypress for three years, but after…read morecountless inconsistencies, we can no longer trust them with her care. At first, we appreciated their services, but over time, the issues piled up: - Inadequate cameras in the play area that don't cover the full space, leaving us unsure of what really happens. - "Pawgress" reports included photos of other dogs, not Crosby, making us question if she was even getting the attention we paid for. - Fearful reactions--Crosby started shaking and whining at drop-off, which she never used to do. - Unfulfilled services: Multiple times, we paid for grooming (including Furmination) only for her to come home completely untouched, despite wearing a bandana like she'd been groomed. Staff apologized and promised refunds, but nothing changed. The final straw? After her last "grooming," Crosby came home filthy, stinking like creek water, and with thick layer of loose fur--proof she hadn't been brushed, let alone Furminated. When I complained, they offered a refund (still not received). It's heartbreaking to leave after three years, but PetSuites has repeatedly failed our trust. Crosby deserves better, and so do you. See the photo--this is how much fur came out after her supposed "groom." Unacceptable. Do better, PetSuites. Even then, we won't be back.

VCA Prestonwood has helped us more times than I can count with all of our animals. From my 80lb…read moredogs torn ACL, to our puppy who was attacked and fed through a feeding tube, to the family of kittens I brought in today with upper respiratory issues, Dr. Roberson and his team have shown us not only the best medical care, but genuine love and concern for our pets well being. They always review all of our options with us and they treat our animals like they are their own. They have also euthanized a few of our sweet babies and handled it with such love, care and kindness. I have never had such a calming and peaceful feeling about bringing my animals anywhere until I came here. I trust them 100% with all of our 28 barn cats, 5 indoor cats and 7 dogs. They are truly doing Gods work and taking care of all his creatures, great and small. Highly recommend Dr. Roberson and VCA Prestonwood!

Two vets missed a heart murmur in my dog…read more After prescribing cough medicine for a very serious cough, it did nothing for my dog, they then needed me to do a chest x-ray on him. I had the x rays done after his symptoms progressed (episodes of passing out and loss of bodily control) and they were still confident it was lungs, though I had mentioned a previous potential heart murmur diagnosis from a year ago. X-ray shows enlarged heart and now they need an echocardiogram to be CERTAIN it's heart disease. While deciding to move forward with this vet and give them more money or find a second opinion, (a week and a half?) my dog went downhill quickly on a weekend. The emergency vet immediately heard a murmur and could say after an x ray, with 90% confidence that he had heart disease. He passed away 4/13/25. I am to blame for putting things off while trying to navigate money and these decisions with this vet who I was questioning after going back and forth with for a span of 2-3 months. I still don't understand how TWO vets miss a severe heart murmur. Fine enough vet for vaccines and what not, but if somethings going on with your animal, maybe find somewhere else. Hank was the best boy and lived a full and long life. RIP

I have been waiting a very long time to post this! I gave…read morethis five stars so that people looking for positive reviews can see the truth. However this deserves not 1 star. So here is the real deal. The "insider" edition. The regular employees really try hard and are worked to death. They care about your animals, as well as their well-being. Also, they are afraid of the owner because of how cruel she is to her employees. She also flips out on employees as well as management, who work really hard as well. This happens all the time. However, the owner does not care about anything except for her money. She only cares about poodles because she breeds them for a huge amount of money. This is also why she has a poodle rescue business attached to it. Trust me when I say she does not give a shit about her employees or anyone else. She is completely two-faced. That, I want to promise you. I can see it and I can hear it all the time. In addition, let's just say that you may find only one or two people that do not share the same skin color as her. However, I know what I am allowed to post legally and we'll stick with that, if you know what I mean..... Not only does she treat her staff horribly, but she is extremely rude to them all the time tells them what to do, even if it is not good for your animals. She absolutely demoralizes her staff all the time, and always blames them for something going wrong - Even though it looks like a lovely place and the staff smiles. But on the inside, it is a very horrible place and I would not bring your animal over there. Also, she causes problems and gets in the way of the employees taking care of all of the animals. It's like she really does not know what she's doing, except for only business purposes to make money. You should see the car she drives. She has a very expensive sports car and shows It Off. I even saw on the news that a news team went over there to figure out why she was getting rid of poodle rescue. I don't know what happened behind the scenes, but I can only assume that she is in charge of it completely now and that is why they still have it there. Again, lots of money in her poodle business. So please beware about this place. The workers are wonderful but they are more than overworked and seems that they are discriminated against in many different ways. No matter who they are. The owner only cares about business and money. It's unfortunate that customers are not aware of what happens behind the scenes. The owner's name is Gwinnett. And she is most definitely Too Faced between her company and her clients.

This kennel/pet resort needs improvement. I was so angry today!…read more I don't have anything negative to say about their grooming capabilities. They have good groomers. Ginger is my dog's groomer. My dog has been here quite a bit for grooming and Ginger does a good job with her hair cut. However, the kennel part of the business needs work. My dog stayed there and I brought four cans of food. She stayed five days and only ate one can of food the entire time. I was livid that they underfed her. They told me the notes say "four teaspoons" and I said there's no way we would've authorized such a small amount. She said she thought that was low. I'm like, "if you thought that was too low, why didn't you call me?!" My husband said he authorized 4 tablespoons. Not teaspoons. My dog has stayed overnight at this kennel a bunch of times. I won't be bringing her back for grooming or boarding. My dog was so happy to see me today and she ate a HUGE bowl of food as soon as she got home. She was starving.
