I walked in not knowing what to expect but amazingly enough they have Great service and such attentive staff

The place is clean which should be hard with pets everywhere but they make it look easy. I took Riley there to be groomed and they did a great job. His fur was trimmed to perfect length and he smelled so fresh. The main thing is that he is sometimes fearful of some groomers that's why I changed but with them he seemed to enjoy the treatment based on how he was when I picked him up. read more

My dogs always come home extra happy from their stay with Rosehill. One of my dogs suffers from anxiety and they do everything to help relieve his stress during his stay. Staff is very friendly too. read more

I've brought my dog here twice for boarding (1 week each time). They were very nice to me and accommodating. I'm not sure why some reviews say their pit bull dog was rejected. Maybe they're only rejected for day care. My dog, a pit bull mix, passed a behavior test at the facility before boarding. I'm only rating this place 3 starts because I'm unhappy with 2 things. 1.) I wish we had more ways to know how are dogs are doing and how they're being treated. There's no active social media site or cameras in which we can check. 2.) I'm been bringing my dog here because of the lake. But every time I ask for her to be taken swimming I receive the same response. "It depends on the weather" Still to this day, I don't know if my dog was taken swimming or not. One thing I really like about this place is that dogs don't spend all day running around with other dogs since it tends to be over stimulating for my dog. read more

I drove all the way from Arkansas to drop off my Rocco bc I don't trust anyone else with him. He's a 4 month old, 50lb German Shepherd that requires attention and love. HE LOVED IT HERE. He was always playing and happy. They let you call a million times to check on your fur baby and always have a nice people answering the phones and at the facility. Kayla the manager was especially good with him and was always smiling and giving tours of the facility. Always ready to answer any questions and is quick to return phone calls! Their facility is extremely clean and almost completely odorless! The dogs there are happy and have room to play and be active. They aren't cooped up in a kennel for the duration of their stay. Affordable prices. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Great location (right off of 290). I will always bring Rocco here. They have an exquisite facility. I have used this pet resort for 10 years and have brought other Business to them. The staff had always been courteous and friendly which is what I really loved about it. That all changed when I went to pick up my pets from a stay. I addressed some concerns I had at which time I was greeted with hostility and aggressiveness in a poor attitude by the actual business owner who I've never met previously. She then told me that I was welcome to explore elsewhere. I decided to give it another try and when I called for availability, the female who answered the phone stated she will call me back. I waited the entire day for a callback on availability Only realizing it was Because the owner put a note on my file. she wanted to make sure that I understood what they were going to do as far as feeding and taking the dogs out. she told me there was a note that she needed to make sure and address that I understood everything. I tried to explain what my concern was before and the response given by the owner. When I did this, the manager became Aggressive towards me saying she has worked for her for eight years and she supports her boss. This began an argument and I explained just to take me out of their system and she hung up. My concern was simply that my pets were being fed at five and 6 PM and not taken out past 6 PM until after seven the next morning. To me this was a legitimate concern but instead of just addressing it with a long time patron ,it quickly became something very ugly and I will never take my business there again. Before hanging up, she told me the real times they feed and go out which was worse than what I was told before. If I was any other patron I will never take my pets there or recommend this place only because if you have a concern, the owner becomes uncivil showing money is her only concern, not the worries of her clients for their pets!! Please make sure you know all of the underlying rules that are not general knowledge or expressed to you when using this place. Before hanging up, she did inform me that they feed pets dinner at 3 and 4pm and they go out around 5pm. They cannot potty until after 7-8am the next morning. I wonder if they would like that If they had to pee or poop on themselves or their sleeping areas because they have to hold it for more than 12+ Hours read more

We normally board our furry children at the veterinarian down the street who have limited space dedicated to boarding, so it isn't uncommon for them to be booked. This is our go-to boarding facility. The facility is nice and clean. Staff seemed friendly. Chelsea at the front desk knew exactly who my dogs were and was very helpful. Keep in mind for Sunday pick up you are only given a 2 hour window, and there is a also a $10 Sunday check out fee? All in all, great boarding facility with no complaints. read more

I usually board my dog at the vet just down the street (something about the comfort of boarding your baby at the vet), but on a few occasions the vet was booked and recommended that I go down the street to Rosehill Pet Resort! I am happy they did, because I have had a great experience each time. They are a little pricier than my vet and you have to pay for "extras", but still more affordable than many boarding facilities. It's hard taking your pup somewhere new when they are used to another place, but they were attentive to my overly anxious pet which made me feel better. read more

I would love to be able to describe this facility and discuss my impressions of the staff but my dog, a Pit Bull, was rejected for doggy day care via phone. They never even met him. Not only do they not take Pit Bulls, but also, according to the owner's voicemail, 'similar breeds.' This is despite the fact that a) I had called about him doing one on one activities with a tech and not actual doggy day care and b) I told them my dog has been attending doggy day care for over a year already. I even emailed them images of him in the day care room at his previous day care as well as images of him in funny holiday costumes at day care, indicating that he can not only be around other dogs (he prefers small dogs), but is good enough with people to allow them to dress him up in ridiculous outfits and sit perfectly posed for a good camera shot. To my knowledge, BSL is illegal in Harris County but regardless, I frown upon people who own pet service businesses that hold biases towards certain breeds of dog. Every dog should be evaluated on it's own merit. The reason I left his last day care was that he caught kennel cough on two separate occasions. Unfortunately for THIS business, I have 10 dogs total, spend over $300 monthly on grooming due to the many lap dog breeds I own and board frequently because I travel a lot. I was searching for a new place to take all of my business but you can guarantee it won't be Rosehill. I don't take kindly to prejudice, nor 'similar' issues. PS - I only gave this business a star because I had to give it something. This is a no star business in my opinion! read more

I have been taking my boxer to Rosehill Pet Resort for the past three years. They take excellent care of her and she is always happy when I pick her up. The staff and facility are wonderful. Nancy B., it is unfortunate that we hear about pit bulls attacking people and other dogs in the news often, and not all of them have lived with their owners in aggressive environments. The reality of it is, many of them are dangerous, and as a business, it is a liability to risk other pets that are left in their care. If you want to own a pit bull, unfortunately the bias is already there and you have to choose to deal with it. My sister has a pit, and he is a big ole' sweet baby, so I am not against pits. It just is what it is. You don't read about other breeds attacking people and animals. read more

I can't speak for their boarding but the grooming our dog received in 2016 was horrific, my dog had several cuts and blood scabs on her ears that are just now healing, this was our first and last time to go to Rosehill groomers. She's 4 years old and we've never experienced anything like this. read more

My dog is bit high maintenance, she's got high energy but has separation anxiety and hates being groomed. I actually live in the Heights, far from Cypress, but I drive all the way out here because it's the only place that can handle my dog and treats her like I would. I've gone to 5-star boarders near my house and they've refused to groom her, given her cuts or scratches, or they'll stick her in a cage for hours without food, water, or potty breaks. None of that has ever even come close to happening at Rosehill Pet Resort. When I walk in, everyone is so welcoming and greets us by name. The boarding facilities are really nice (seriously, some of the rooms are nicer than hotels I've stayed at) and they give the dogs lots of attention. The groomer (I believe her name is Linda) takes her time with my dog and is very gentle. I used to pick up my dog from boarding and she'd jump into my arms shaking and panting, but here, I have come to pick up my dog and she's sitting in the receptionist's lap with her tail wagging! We won't go anywhere else. read more

I am impressed with this facility! They really go the extra mile for their customers. We went out of town and our flight was not getting in early enough for us to pick them up before closing. While we were at the airport we heard news of Tropical Storm Bill headed for Houston. Worried that the roads would be bad the following morning, I called Rosehill Pet Resort and asked them if they would stay 30 minutes late so we could pick up our dogs that night. Without hesitation they said they would wait for us! It was so comforting to me knowing our dogs and cat would be home that night safe and sound with us! It is hard to find that kind of service these days. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is price related. But then again, I think you get what you pay for. We sure did! read more

My King Charles, Nidas, has been going to doggy daycare at Rosehill Pet Resort since he was a year old and he is now 5 years old. Nidas Loves the place and the people who work there. If a couple of days go by and he hasn't gone when I do take him we pulls me toward the back because he is ready to go and see his friends immediately. They have always taken great care of Nidas and, if he didn't want to go he would tell me by sitting down on the ground and not budge (which is what he does if someone besides me tries to walk him around the block at home). When I let Glenda the owner know that Nidas had had a seizure. She immediately had a sign put on his Kennel door and made sure all the employees knew what to do if it occurred while Nidas was there. Nidas has boarded there overnight and when I took him back the next day for daycare he was just as happy as he was before he hadn't stayed the night. If you don't know about Cavaliers let me explain that they are very close to their owners, especially the boy Cavaliers. I know if my baby was being given the best care, he would rebel at being left there away from me, and I want to make it clear that he has never given any indication he was not happy. Nidas attends daycare on average up to 4 days a week. The staff has graciously accommodated me many times when I have been stuck in traffic (I am an outside rep) and couldn't get to their facility right at 6:00 pm. If you are looking for doggie daycare or a place to board your pet, you could not find a better place anywhere. read more

I travel full time so usually I use Rover.com to find screened and approved pet sitters in a specific area all over the country. This time I didn't and I won't do that again. I chose an indoor/outdoor kennel for my dog. He was there for 4 days. When I picked him up his bed smelled like urine (he's never even had "an accident" ever indoors). I thought it was just you know "kennel smell". On the way home I noticed it more and more. When I got home I threw the bed in the shower and turned on the hot water and it was FULL of dried urine. I ran the shower for almost 10 minutes until it was clean enough to put in the washing machine. I had to wash my dog as well because HE smelled like urine. At that point I realized that he had never gone outside - for 4 days. He slept in his own urine for 4 days. I'm at a loss and still angry, sad, and upset. My dog is 3 and has never used a doggie door. If a pet boarding facility's employee noticed there's urine and feces all over the kennel, wouldn't that be a sign that perhaps the animal can't get out?...maybe show him how to USE the doggie door and get outside? That's what I paid for - for him to be able to go outside anytime he wanted. This IS a boarding facility, not a shelter. read more
