Love this place. I was initially so scared to board my dog but this place is the best, I was so thankful they could squeeze me in for spring break!!!. Loki is an English Bulldog so he is very high maintenance and when he was returned to me he didn't even want to leave!! He was also spotless, ears cleans, wrinkles clean and looked happier than ever. Will definitely be coming back for any of my boarding needs. I also love that they are affordable and post pictures on Facebook!!

Great service! Came and took care of my aunt's Siberian Husky. Very thorough with grooming her and getting rid of all of her extra hair. Super friendly service too! Highly recommend! Will definitely use in the future!

The fact that they are reasonably priced is just another reason why Foxmoor Kennel is a great place to board animals.

My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

Please reconsider before bringing your pet here…read more Since the change in management, the quality and standards of care have noticeably declined. In the past, pets could freely enjoy time outside to socialize and play with others while waiting for grooming or pickup--no special request was needed. Now, however, it seems you must explicitly ask for your pet to be let outside, or they're kept in crates for extended periods, sometimes from 9:30 AM until almost 5:00 PM. For pets with high anxiety, like our doodle who struggles with being confined to small spaces, this is distressing and far from the previous standard of care. Additionally, we encountered communication issues. When we hadn't received a call about our dog's pickup and the day was nearing close, we tried calling for an update but received no answer. We also noticed that grooming quality has diminished, with grooming services seeming rushed and lacking attention to detail. The cut our pet received was much shorter than requested and poorly executed. These new policies, combined with increased prices and limited staffing, have led us to seek alternative care options. We urge other pet owners to carefully consider their options as well.
