Excellent service!! Great haircut on my Bichon. Andrew was very attentive to what I wanted for my dog.

I have a young Bernese Mountain Dog and he can be easily overwhelmed/tough to groom. It took me a while to find a groomer that would accept Archie. So happy I found A Clip Above! Not only is the staff always friendly, but they seem highly educated on each dogs needs/requirements and I love that! This is Archie's 3rd grooming and I've been so happy with the outcome each time. His fur is so soft, he's clean cut, and he smells soo nice! I would highly recommend this business to anybody looking for top notch service for their fur baby :) read more

I have been bringing my dog here about 4 years and the customer service and love for my dog is so apparent from All staff. They keep him looking great and feeling happy! Thanks Willow and team! Recommend them highly! read more

I brought my four month Aussie doodle here for her first groom. Professional and friendly and experienced staff, clean facility, and they treated my girl with care. For puppies they do a bath and brush with face, paws, and sanitary trim. She came home quite the floouf ball and looks and smells amazing. This place is a bit pricy (I paid $75 when it was said and done) but this was not a lot more than where I where used to get my old toy poodle groomed, and what more inviting and professional environment, and worth it IMO. read more

Julianna was so sweet to our doodle Murphy! So fluffy! Will be a returning customer :)

Long time customer (Like 4 or 5 years) and recently brought our two dogs.. Got charged a late fee because we were 15-30 min late. They never mentioned the charge in any way either before or during the checkout process. What. A. Joke. Whatever you have to do to make a buck. $10 Late fee. LOL. Instead of being customer-focused and relationship based you get this crap. read more

Great grooming salon. Appreciate the kindness & efficiency of staff. Marie grooms my pet exactly as I like, takes the time to work with him and I feel the prices are reasonable as well as options! Laura B read more

I heard of this place through a customer (who also has a shih-poo like me) who came to dine in at the restaurant I manage. I was actually complaining to her that I spend $100 (not including the $20 tip I always leave) at a supposedly 5-star, reputable place in DT Denver and not even a week after the groom, I always find knots and tangles behind the ear and not to mention his nails barely trimmed. She recommended this place. First off, the amount of money we spent was much less than the other place and my Pookie looked absolutely adorable when I picked him up. This is by far the best he's ever looked after being groomed. Not to mention, he smelled super nice and his nails/ears were trimmed/cleaned to perfection. Will be coming back regularly every month, despite the commute. Pookie and I are very satisfied customers read more

Waited two months to get our first appointment for our puppy, and was totally worth it! Their system of on boarding new clients is very interesting and impressive. They only let master stylists work on new dogs. After the dogs third visit with a master stylist then they can work with any of the other ones. The space is cute and the quality of their work is impeccable! My dog had a full grooming plus a mud bath and she looked absolutely amazing! They're also really honest with the nature of their suggestions. My dog is shorthaired and I thought every month she would need a grooming and they said no it's more like every eight weeks and you can just bring her by to get her nails trimmed without an appointment. It was very nice to hear verses, trying to upsell us and increase the frequency that was not necessarily beneficial for the nature of our dogs hair. Since there are limited master stylists, we went ahead and booked all of our appointments out for the rest of the year. If you are choosing between this place or scenthound, don't look any further, you and your fur baby will not be disappointed. read more

Had our Schnauzer go in to get her spa day in. Came out looking fabulous! Love the place, the crew and our groomer! We also had our 2 labs going in for the nail trim and it was flawless as well! We will go back!!! read more

Sooo fantastic! They were so great and I could tell my little Blondie was so happy and so clean! Great prices and they do such a great job!!

I love the staff and the service at A Clip Above. My husky can be a bit (very) difficult for me to groom effectively, but he always comes back from here looking terrific! Highly recommended. read more

This was Leroy's first grooming at A Clip Above and I'm so glad I've finally found a reliable and well run grooming boutique. The girls at the front are so organized and helpful. Lauren made Leroy look so handsome and he didn't even seem to be traumatized when I first brought him in which has had happened with past groomers. Looking forward to future beauty appointments! read more

My Maltipoo has been going to A Clip above seeing Willow regularly. Willow is clearly an expert in her field. Sure I've taken my dog to less expensive groomers, but the cut he receives is exceptional in comparison, as well as his demeanor when he is returned to me he is relaxed and comfortable. The women who staffed the front desk are always kind and professional, and go beyond the call of duty, including helping my dog to the car when my disability makes it difficult to do. read more

Our Goldendoodle got his first real haircut today with groomer, Shay at A Clip Above. She did a fantastic job and he looks absolutely adorable. So happy to have such a wonderful pet spa so close to our home. Our pup left very happy and we are too. read more

We moved to the area and needed to find a groomer for our toy poodle and a clip above had great reviews for our breed of pup. I called and was given plenty of information and scheduled a bath & trim. They did such an amazing job on her and the prices are average with great results. We booked regular services because they can get booked out pretty far (1-1.5 months out). Which shows how great they are. The staff is always so friendly and none of the animals seemed stressed. read more

Great hair cuts, etc for our dog. Quality personnel, and treat our dog very nicely. Will continue to use their grooming services.

Love taking my dogs here everyone is friendly and dog lovers of course my dogs don't love it lol but they'll get over it. The deep brush treatment is great for my shedder and the oatmeal bath and conditioning is good for my dry skin dog read more

We love A Clip Above, they take such good care of our dogs, Luna and Arlo. Highly recommend them, they are awesome!

This business used to be so efficient and professional; not only is it a minimum of 95dollarsper dog for a bath but the mail trim is extra and you had better double check it was done when you pick up your dog. a dog was literally screaming in back and my dogs used to like going ther but now literally growl at us when we enter. the grooming is good but never the way you ask your dog to be clipped. i'm sad they make me wait to see my dog and request full payment before i see them and ask for a tip/ without seeing the work done? this is a super clean and convenient location in centennial- just goin down hill. read more

As always the best!! They take such good care of my sweet puppy. When she gets there she is so nervous. But when our groomer comes out to get her she is fine. read more

A Clip Above's groomers are experts at what they do! I've been taking my Golden Retriever here for a few years now. They are attentive, kind, and transparent, and he always comes home looking a million times better than when I dropped him off. He has a ton of fur and can get some pretty tough knots, and they always trim them with care and still make him look handsome. This place may be a little pricey, but it is worth it for my dog who requires quite a bit of grooming in one session. My one piece of feedback is they sometimes take a little longer to call to tell me he's ready for pickup, and sometimes their phone goes to voicemail. I wish there was a way to be put on hold or wait in a queue instead of needing to call back. This is very insignificant though, and I still rate this place 5 stars based on the friendliness of the front desk and the expertise and kindness of the groomers. Plus, it's clean! read more

Willow did amazing with our cat! Our cat looks and smells amazing! Willow made sure to listen to our concerns and got our cat's haircut purfect on the first visit. read more

Was really excited about this place, have been wanting to try them out for the past few years and finally made an appointment. Everything was great, groomer advised me one nail got cut a little short and she bled a little. I understood. Then when we left and got home, I noticed a cut on her leg that no one advised me on. Her eyes had hair and gunk in them, too. Really disappointed, as I know she was terrified to go and was hoping to find a nice, safe feeling groomer for her. read more

ALSO THEY GIVE A DISCOUNT FOR A GOOD REVIEW! Beware!!! The owner is nutso. She actually told me "to just relax" from the other end of the busy front end; when I was APOLOGIZING TO A STAFF MEMBER for being late and having to reschedule, and wondering out loud (all politely) why it made a difference wether the dog with me was dog#1 or dog#2 (they had appointments 30 minutes apart, and they're the same breed and very similar weight). Anyhow she told me to just relax, I said excuse me? very calmly- it led to ridiculousness. I'll never go back because of this woman- which is too bad- her groomers are excellent!! But to be talked to in that manner & to be treated so poorly; absolutely not worth her high price. I feel bad for her staff. Cannot even imagine how she treats them. Would give zero stars if I could. Notes: my dogs are extremely happy dorky Am Staffs- never a grooming problem. Look at all the reviews here- see a pattern of blaming the client? Her husband, Shay(?) is frighteningly aggressive- beware. read more

I've taken our Maltipoo Savage here 3 times now and the staff is always so nice. They were so sweet they even took some photos of Savage for us. I've had Danielle and Hollie and they both do an amazing job! I drive quite a ways but it's worth it to me because I know Savage is treated right. They listen to what i want and he's always looking so cute! read more

Day two after my dog's grooming appointment with A Clip Above and he's still really uncomfortable. I discovered yesterday that he has a sore where they shaved him on his backside. I don't know if it's razor burn or a scrape but it's causing him a lot of discomfort. Terrible grooming experience, stay away from A Clip Above! read more

Best Dog Groomer in town! If you are looking for a great groomer, that my dog loves, look no further than Willow. You may have to be put on a waiting list, but so worth it! I'm sure that all of the groomers are high quality and the front staff are very friendly! read more

I have not even had an appointment yet for my dog, and I am already impressed. I am on a wait list, and crossing my fingers that my Nolan can get an appointment soon. Please take note! If you have a Cavalier King Charles and/or a Cockalier do not use A Clip Above. I have been all over town searching for a knowledgeable Groomer. A Clip Above was highly recommended. In my consult, the Groomer gal kept asking and telling me "it's your preference". I told her I only know they have an undercoat and that is not supposed to be cut down. I also told her for both pups please do not "shave down". It is 18 degrees at night and we are currently in Winter! Well, when I picked them up they looked like they had been in a concentration camp shaved completely all over down. Buzz cut. I only give two stars because their ears came out perfect. They had a few mats I could not get at home. Their paws were shaved down which of course with these breeds need tending too. If anyone on Yelp knows where in Denver Metro to take these fabulous dogs, plz let me know. I think for $219 for both not including a Christmas tip, you should know EXACTLY how to groom a Cavalier and Cockalier - mix of a Cav and Cocker Spaniel. Do the Groomers not watch Grooming tips even on You Tube which has every breed imaginable? What on earth kind of training for those prices do they receive? Ridiculous disservice and almost cruel grooming for these now chilly dogs. My Cav sacrificed his undercoat. I feel absolutely totally irresponsible entrusting their care to this "upscale" place. read more

Friendly and efficient service from people who genuinely seem to love the dog. Mine never looked more handsome. I won't hesitate to return.

I took my rescue pup to see Willow and she did a great job! Pudge is a tough customer as he is very shy, suffers from epilepsy and recently tore his canine ACL, so he's on three legs. Willow was really patient with him and he looks like such a babe with his Mohawk! It took us a week or so to see her, but they were even amazing at keeping us on a waitlist and they were able to get him in sooner. Highly recommend them! read more
