This place did an adequate job on my denim vest that I needed for my weekend gig. But the lady…read moreworking at the counter was very rude and short with me, acting very indignant that I wanted it back before Saturday (dropped it off on a Tuesday). But she then proceeded to charge me an additional $6 just for running over my vest with a lint roller before cleaning it? The vest itself was only $9 to be cleaned. Which means I paid almost double just because there was a little cat hair on it. I don't see myself going back. There are plenty of other cleaners in the area.

One of the sweaters I usually wash myself, but it had a few ink stains I couldn't get out. I point them out at drop off, told them it was ink & that the sweater had been washed, but not put in a dryer. I got the sweater back with the same stains, looking identical to when I dropped it off. Very disappointed.

It looks beautiful and brand new. The owner also offered you money if you still weren't pleased with the seamstresses work. They also gave you free dry cleaning. Sometimes you just can't make everyone happy no matter how hard you try. Your garments are still waiting for you. Maybe it wasn't the garments you wanted from the get go! And when you mistreat people and are rude and nasty, they will usually respond the same way. This owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, as are EVERYONE of his employees. Metropolitan Dry Cleaners will go above and beyond to give their customers the best possible service and it's heartbreaking when people post untruths!

I went into this business in late February to drop off my purse to be cleaned. The very young girl…read morebehind the desk said she wasn't sure they did purses. However, she went to ask someone and came back and said that they sent them out, but could not guarantee the leather part. I dropped it off, and she told me they would call when it was done. When they never called me to say it was done, I called back in late March and the woman I spoke with said, "Well, you are not in our computer so we don't even know if you were really here." I called and spoke to the manager (Larry) and he essentially told me the same thing, but he said he would look around for it. I've spoken with him on the phone once since then, but he doesn't know what happened to it. It was suede and leather...a designer (Fossil) purse. Unfortunately, I couldn't find (misplaced) the receipt I was given....I knew where I had it, but it had been so long with no call to say it was done....somehow it got lost.
