This was my first time coming here. The main thing I was looking forward too was the WiFi for my boys but they didn't have any WiFi. They offer it but there's no sign to tell us what the passwords is or what the WiFi name is. When I go to a laundromat I expect that so I can get the laundry done while the kids watch their tablets. Beside that the place looked cleaned and I like the fact that drying your clothes was free and they are open 24/ hrs. The value of this place is decent but false advertising does not make your business look good. read more

I hate laundromats. I wasn't much of a fan of the laundry house location back when it was still on Smithville. Doing laundry always felt like I couldn't keep enough quarters on me to save my life. Half the time I didn't even get my clothes completely dry because I ran out of quarters. Well ladies and gentlemen, your memories and experiences of the Smithville location are history. (The location on Smithville was bought by another laundry company.) This location is on the corner of Smithville and woodman, across from the shell gas station. I went here because they had giant signs outside that day "free dryers!" I thought it must be some gimmick or catch but my frugal side has more curiosity than a cat, so I went down there to do my mountain of laundry. (I do my laundry once every 1 or 2 months. There's no washer dryer hookups in my apartment complex and I really do hate laundry, so this is why I wait until it's absolutely necessary before I make myself go.) Most moderately sized laundromats have several 60 pound machines. A couple of the better laundromats have the 80 pound machines. I usually monopolize about 3 or 4 80 pound machines. WELL NOT TODAY! The new laundry house location has 4 [FOUR!] 100 pound machines. Guess how much they are. Currently, the people that bought out the old laundry house location have 80 pound machines that take about 12 dollars to load, if you're not going for the extra rinse cycle and all the extra jazz. This place though! Their 100 pound machines are $11.75. And actually, if you wanna download the app this laundromat uses, and engage the washing machine via Bluetooth (and use Apple Pay) this massive machine is a little more than $9 a load. I was discouraged to see that there was a coinless function, because I thought you'd have to earn dryer credits via the app in order to engage the "free" dyers. This was a problem, because I was paying cash. I begrudgingly cashed out a couple 20 dollar bills (their quarter machine actually dispenses $1.00 coins. I had also not seen that before.) convinced I was not going to be able to take advantage of the free dyers because I didn't have a way to earn free dryer credits, I walked my disappointed self with my wet clothes over to the dryer to see what I would be out. My friends, I cannot tell you the last time I felt such glee in a laundromat. I took a picture and uploaded it here because I was certain no one would believe me. There is no gimmick. There is no catch. You can walk in with a rain soaked jacket that's otherwise clean, toss it in one of the dryers and literally nobody is going to stop you from starting up that dagum dryer. You don't have to pay for diddly. It only stays on for 15 minutes at a time unless you wanna pay for a longer time period, but once the 15 minutes are up, you just open the dryer's door, and shut it again and press start to fire up another 15 minutes. It's that simple. No membership. No app required. You don't have to dance the Hokey Pokey to qualify to use said dryers. It is not a select number of dryers. It is all the dryers. They are all free, and you can use whatever dryer you please. I engaged 7 dryers and restarted them 7 or 8 times until my clothes were dry. I'll be back! I am a fan! Look at the pictures! No fibs! This is the cheapest laundry trip I've made (with almost 200 pounds of clothes!) since before the pandemic. read more

I recommend coming during odd hours. It's ni fun being here when it's crowded. I'm here today on a Wednesday at 10am and it has been very peaceful. Machines work great and everything is relatively clean. It would be nice if clorox wipes were provided for the folding tables. It's always nice to know that your clean clothes are laying on a clean surface. read more

They have huge painted lettering on their front window which says they offer drop off service. I have been the 3 times and no one is ever there. I have called twice and left voice messages, yet no one returns my calls. I sent a message on Facebook, again with no reply. I understand they are a self serve location, but seriously??? They don't even have a minimal amount of customer service to return a call? Good thing they are self serve, because they'd be out of business! read more

Well, my husband and I needed to wash our queen sized comforter so we came here. It's nice that it's open 24/7. The machines are newer and work well, although they are expensive. One wash cost $7. I will say, the washing machines are FAST. One load was only 20 minutes for a wash and 25 minutes for a dry. The facility is pretty dirty, and the waiting area is super thrown together. I wouldn't say they make it comfortable to hangout at. The window says you can drop your laundry off, but I don't know if I'd trust it. Make sure you bring lots of cash / quarters with you when you come. I'm sure it's comparable with other laundromats in the area. read more

I haven't been to a laundromat in 50 years and so happy to find you just 4 minutes from my house. How ever my front loader home was washer wouldn't take a king size mattress pad. I found the place to be somewhat clean and the machines to be plentiful. However, the reason for my 2 stars is the experience was with the 45lb machine I used a real bummer. After is finished washing i went to take out my mattress pad and it was completely soaking wet....and was stuck in the back of the washer and I couldn't get it out. In the mean time (as you'll notice on your camera's) the floor was getting soaking wet and this was not funny. A nice customer called the 888 emergency #, as i did not have cell phone. But no response to the emergency happened. I struggled in trying to free my pad from the back of the machine, until after approximately 20 mins or so, I finally slowly got it free. The tub had a dent in the tumbler and my pad was caught behind the back of machine and the barrel. But, this not solve the problem of a soaking wet pad. Another lady allowed me to use her cell phone and I called the 1-888 emergency # again. NO RESPONSE!!! I tried my best to wring my pad as much as I could, however it was so soaked, my efforts were for ni. If you only had a mop around I could've mopped up the floor, after hours later, so other customers would not fall and get hurt. Wish I new why the machine did not spin the water out is a question I can't answer and you probably are wondering too! The machine did spin like crazy too! I put a sign above the machine, as being out of order. (your camera's will verify this). I finally took the basket with my pad outside to dry more. Finally, I did put pad in the $1.50 Express dryer and it did dry, with a little dampness, but mostly dried. I was so long at the your establishment that my husband came to see if I was OK. I was impressed at the snack & drinks machines were available and other items too. Hopefully, my review will not leave a black mark and customers reading this, as they need to know that this had to be something odd that happened out of the ordinary. read more

Very nice. Came here to do my laundry while my washer and dryer was not working. Place is clean and I love that they have vending machines in case you get hungry or thirsty and some arcade games to play in case you get bored. I will definitely come back to do my laundry here if my washer and dryer break down again and need to get my laundry done. read more

Great laundry facility! Clean, lot's of different sizes of washers and dryers. Fun vending machines. Places to sit and tv to watch as well as free Wifi. Sometimes the Wifi doesn't work for me but it's all good. There is also a bunch of folding tables as well. I only gave it 4 stars because to wash a load it is a bit pricey, but other than that I'd highly recommend it here! read more

This was my first and last time here. At first appeared very nice and clean. Sadly someone took my granddaughter only plaid jumper she had for school.I called and lm twice to see if someone turned it in.I never received a call back. I stopped up there also and never found anyone to talk too.The game machines did not work.The WORST thing I encountered was a woman came in with 2 huge dog food bags of horrific smelling dog soaked urine rags.The smell permeated this establishment. It was so bad she was coughing. I have just wondered what my clothes would have smelled like if I had washed them in there after her?? read more

Nice place and people. It is 24/7 so those of you who work late or if your a night owl it's still open for you. I liked the outside of the mat. It looks well taken care of. The inside could use a good sweeping but I think that's only because I was here during "busy" times. They have several size washers and dryers. They also have a mini arcade and free wifi, all in all a pretty good visit. read more
