I've been coming to Centerville Laundromat for 30 years, under 3 different owners. I've always loved this place and have enjoyed my 2-3 visits for year there. The staff and owners have always been so nice and helpful. The place has always been so clean and clientele are nice. Today was the first time in 30 years I did not enjoy my visit. I wasn't treated nicely right off the bat, by the owner herself. She seemed like an unhappy person with an unpleasant look on her face, inpatient, and seemed annoyed to have to assist me at all. When I gave her my card to get money for the coin machine she accused me of using her as a bank. Wow! I see she is in need of help by signs stating immediate interviews accepted. Word of advice, have someone else do the interviewing! read more

Laundrymat itself is good. Machines are effective. Comfortable and clean environment. Free wifi and reasonably priced snacks. They do use generic cleaning products with small portions ( if you need to buy them). What is something I do not recommend is their laundry services. I opted for a two day service. The items were washed and folded, however one of the shirts were bleached. I went inside to speak to the owner there upon the request of one of the girls who answered the phone. The owner was very nasty! Didn't bother getting off the phone to talk to me, she acted as if I bothered her because I interrupted her gossiping over the phone. she told me to provide proof that I paid for the shirt, which I did via an app I purchased it on, and she said the shirt was one years old and it wasn't that important. She stated that she would check with one of her girls and possibly give me half off for the price of the shirt that they ruined! Stating over and over that the shirt was close to a year old and it wasn't that important. Did not bother to make eye contact, apologize, or attempt to seem remorseful. Very nasty, scowling at me, acting as if I was the dirt on her shoe. I will never, ever, go to that establishment again. There are other washing machines and laundry services in the area and I would not use that one. If you are OK being treated like trash and like a second class citizen thing yes, possibly. But you run the risk of your clothes being ruined as well as getting crappy Customer Service as well. Do not recommend. read more

The girl her name may have been Lisa. She said her mom is the manager . Was rude and completely insane. She went crazy. She said they didn't have my blankets. I read her the voicemail the laundromat left this morning at 10:00 am. She argued with me. I even video taped her b/c I couldn't believe the insane behavior and how she was speaking to me attacking me. She then threw my clean blankets -which I had already paid to have cleaned when I dropped them off- she threw my clean blankets out into the dirty parking lot and dirty my blankets I already paid to have clean. This insane child went postal. BEWARE. FEAR for you safety and life. I can't wrap my mind around what went down. Holy s:$&! read more

Best laundromat ever! I go there every year to wash all of our blankets. I showed up today with seven blankets. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. Showed me the best machines to use for my large loads, helped me with the proper settings, detergent levels, etc. also assisted me with choosing the correct dryers and drying times. Good atmosphere, clean, and great equipment. Lots of of clutter for decoration on top of the machines require you to put clothes on the floor. Attendant was rude when I messed up one of her decorations on top of the equipment with my clothes. Customer service is ok. They get take a while to get you your change as they are usually in the back doing something, but do get to you eventually. Good for a laundry mat but could be better. read more

I really like this laundromat. Don't get me wrong. I don't like "GOING" to the laundromat but, if I have to, then I like this one. It's manned by friendly and knowledgeable personnel (the woman tending to customers was walking a man through steps to prewash his items), kept clean (a man was cleaning countertops while I was there today), and prices are the going prices for such services (at the time of this posting the washers I used were $2 each and the dryers were .25 for 8 minutes. I believe the bigger washers and dryers are a bit more. I live in an apartment complex which does have a laundry room but it contains too few washers/dryers for a complex our size so it is too busy, it's non-secured (no key needed) so I don't feel safe, it is way too dirty, machines may or may not work, and it requires quarters which requires a trip to the bank. In other words, this laundromat is hands-down a winner over my apartment's version and is quite the opposite experience, which is a good thing. Added bonus: I left my book there accidentally and only realized it 2 days later. I called and it was there waiting for me. How nice is that?! read more

There are a few times in life mishaps happen and today was one of them. Next time I need my clothes washed I'll take my business elsewhere. On this day, Nov 7,2018 I was the only other customer here at 9 am, (apart from one other girl whom I was with) and the woman working the counter couldn't have been more upset when I asked for her assistance on 2 diff occasions. Money is money, if I need coins changed, and you have damn near a bucket full- don't make comments about having to change it out. You work here, it's simple and it doesn't hurt you or the business. *Ends rant* read more

Rude establishment I have been using the wash/fold service for months now. I usually drop off a small/medium order in the am and get a message to pick-up later in the afternoon. I hadn't gotten any messages for order pickup in the afternoon this time so I called the laundromat to inquire. The employee, who later told me that she's the owner's daughter, was incredibly rude and angry upon my inquiry. When I came back to retrieve my order that hadn't been started, I just wanted a reimbursement and to leave but the same lady refused to reimburse me until I listened to her rant about how I should be thanking her for business. I wasn't upset about the policy or that the order wasn't started, but rather the employee's harassment. No customer in any situation or of any racial background should have to put up with this behavior. I spoke to the owner who not only did not acknowledge the situation but rather told me something along the lines of good luck finding another place here. I found a place online later that day. They offered same day and next day services. They came to my location to pick up and drop off the laundry and they were even cheaper than this laundromat plus they were actually kind and thanked me for my business. I will be using this online service from now on so that's a plus. However, rudeness and harassment of customers is not ok. read more

I had to find a place to do laundry when my washer died and COVID meant nothing was in stock to replace it anytime soon. I went in to this fine establishment on a Saturday at 1:00pm. I was met by a smiling face, behind a mask, and welcomed. I used 2 machines to wash ($2.25 a load - cold) and had a seat and connected to free wifi and grabbed a Diet Coke ($1). But I then got into a fantastic conversation with another person doing laundry and next thing I knew 30 minutes was up. I put my laundry into 2 dryers for 32 minutes ($1 a load) and then went back to drink my Diet Coke. The whole time I was there the nice lady that was working the country was busy greeting customers and doing wash / fold for dropoff / pickup. Everything worked, it was clean and very welcoming. This is the cleanest, nicest laundromat I have ever been in. The washers and dryers are super clean. You pay according to water temp, but the washers are still very reasonably priced. For a little extra you can add wash time or rinse time to your machine. The dryers are cheap, clean, and hot. I dry a load thick jeans in 30 minutes for about a dollar. There are plenty of fans running to keep the space from getting too warm. The ladies who work here are constantly working on the drop off laundry service, and in between loads are cleaning. They take pride in their business and I'll continue driving in from Cincinnati to do my laundry! read more

Travel to Ohio to visit my son for two weeks and figure I would do laundry at the hotel I was staying but they only offered dry cleaning. So I searched on my maps app and saw this laundry spot/ read the reviews on yelp. This laundry mat is definitely the nicest one I've ever been to. The front desk lady is super sweet. You can buy detergent over the counter. They are opened from 8am-8pm. The place is clean and well kept. It's the first laundry mat that I've ever been to that I didn't feel like the place/ people were shady/ trying to steal my clothes. If I was staying in the area longer or live here I would come back again. I highly recommend this place. read more

DO NOT come here. A foul mouthed rude little drunken lady started to yell at me from 15 feet away. EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME YOU CANT BE PUTTING THEM BLANKETS IN MY MACHINES LIKE THAT. Who are you lady? It was 1 blanket and a bed sheet in a normal sized machine! I know how to do laundry I've been doing it for myself for 20+ years. I haven't broken one yet!! I was prepared to break up my laundry in that one small one and the large one that the laundry nazi was standing next to. She started pointing her finger in my face causing a scene, asking me if I even knew how much a laundry machine costs. While voluntarily taking my stuff out to leave. I dropped something. YOU LEFT A PILLOWCASE AND I DONT WANT THAT IN HERE. This occurred all in front of many other customers. I saw some looks of disbelief from others in my favor looking me in the eye apologetically. She was in the wrong. Calling back to get her name....called back she would not give it. Saying I can come down there and get it. I wonder if I can get the capful of laundry detergent back? Obvious favoritism shown below by owner. Makes sense wanting to protect your business. However, she in fact did Not suggest any other larger machine. She was instantly enraged with me. All but one large machine was taken and she was standing at that one, which I was mere moments away from using after putting in ONE BLANKET ONE SHEET AND 2 PILLOW CASES in a regular size machine. I was going to use the massive machine to separately wash my clothes. Also she never asked me to leave. I voluntarily left. She is the type that had to have the last word, she continued yelling at my even when While I was getting in my car. My boyfriend called upon behalf because the situation was upsetting. Not very professional to hang up on him when he wanted to discuss what happened. This also happened over an hour ago so whomever you spoke with in her defense... It doesn't sound true. Most people were already folding clothes I even recall a couple people leaving during the situation. I do recall questioning if she was drunk before I encountered her. She was very loud and randomly singing very obnoxiously/boisterously. I rarely have customer service issues. Vast majority of my reviews are positive. This is a nice little laundry place located in a strip mall like area. It is a bit cramped on the inside but it is clean and they provide laundry detergent, bleach, etc. if you forget yours. Seating is limited and be sure to bring your dollars or coins as this place does not do credit cards unless you are doing drop off laundry service. They have 4 different washer sizes but the largest 1, which can accomodate 80lbs, they only have 1 of. They do have 2 tvs inside so you view those while you wait. I came in to use large washer for bedding, for the 1st time and would come back in the future. read more

Somehow I moved into the only apartment complex in Centerville without a laundry room. So until I save up the money to buy a washer/dryer, I have to schlep to the laundromat. Sad as that is, going to Centerville Cleaners doesn't stink. They have plenty of parking, including spots right by the door that aren't reserved for handicapped parking. Plenty of machines--I went on a Saturday (usually the busiest laundry day), and had my pick. Regular wash loads are $2, and dryers are $0.25 for 8 minutes. The owner is really friendly; while I was there, I noticed that she knew all of her regulars' names. The best part--everything was so CLEAN. I've been in my share of icky laundromats, and this was not one of them; there was no dryer lint on the floor, no detergent spills collecting fuzz on the washers. They even had tv with a basketball game on to watch while you fold. Their hours are pretty good; 8am-8pm, 7 days a week. The only reason I can't give Centerville Cleaners 5 stars is because one of the dryers I was using wasn't very hot, and it took a few extra cycles to dry the clothes I had in that one. read more

As far as laundromats go. This ones actually pretty good. About $6 got my whites and colors washed and dried. Not to mention the dryer had both done in 30min! It's also clean and the staff is very friendly. Check it out if your in town and in need of a washer and dryer lol. read more

I do not recommend this business, unless you're having a bad day and really want to be mistreated or blow off some steam at someone. This review is solely based upon my experience at the counter when I asked for change. I was treated rudely and disrespectfully. I felt judged, as if I am somehow less than for going to a laundromat to wash a large item. The lady did not greet me with a smile nor did she ever smile. She glared at me when I had a question regarding which washer to use for a large, fluffy comforter. Also, there were other customers in the store, none wearing masks. I had one on. The lady at the counter had one on. When I asked why masks aren't enforced she said that they have no mandate about masks. I have never experienced Customer Service as bad as this. Save yourself the stress and avoid this laundromat. There are others in the area. read more

The person I dealt with was not , but I toss that off to the stress of running a small business during Covid. Hopefully she can get some help and relieve some of that stress. I've used the drop off service when I've needed to catch up on laundry after surgeries. Each time I've asked for fragrance free. This last time, I asked to verify that they used fragrance free products and was told yes. I assumed then that the fragrance I was smelling was from my being in the building and would disapate shortly. My family took over handling it that night. Later that night, my bedroom was filled with so much fragrance I could not sleep in my bed for fear of waking with a migraine. Spoke to the owner who assured me her people used fragrance free and if my family knows my sensitivities they should have alerted me. I replied that's not quite accurate as some fragrances are ok and others are not. She did offer to rewash the clothing, but it has been put away so now all my adjacent clothes smell of the fragrance. I asked if she was going to wash ALL my clothing. She returned to blaming us for not catching their error sooner. Very frustrated with this. Owner said they use the same machines as the public (which I was not aware and had not been told) so it would likely happen on rewash. So, why offer rewash instead of refunding all or part of the cost (or offering a future credit)? I've picked up laundry from this service 3-4 times over the past few years and did not have this problem. Again, owner blamed us. read more

I like to do my king sized quilts, blankets and comforters in the beautiful roomy machines at Centerville Coin Laundry. This place is always super clean and the staff there is super helpful and very professionally friendly. I don't know the name of the person who works there when I go in with my bundle of quilts, but she's a tiny little thing with short dark hair. My goodness! As a "first timer" she was kind enough to point me to the best machines for my chore, and she made sure I knew the prices if the laundry soap and softener. I've used many coin laundries in my 45 yrs of marriage, but Centerville Coin Laundry is a keeper!! Thank you for a great, clean, safe, friendly and helpful place! read more

What a wonderful place. Just moved and haven't had time to buy a washer/dryer yet. Was worried coming here after hearing stories from friends about laundry mats in general. This place as amazing, super clean with about four tenants floating around to help you navigate your way. Pleasantly surprised and will become a regular until I find a washer dryer.
