Excellent customer service, quick and efficient but not lacking quality whatsoever. I needed cake for the same day so I called at 9:30 am on Saturday and I picked up my cake at 11 am same day. He went above and beyond to make it happen and I am so thankful! Definitely check him out. Price was reasonable and I can't stress enough how moist the cake was. The icing was perfect match with the cake.

My husband knows me and my sweet tooth! I was looking for a great local bakery for a SLICE of cake, discussed it with him and low and behold the next thing I know -- he's walking through the door with a giant custom made "just because I love you" cake for the two of us. Diet be damned! But, thank God he listens and cares. I'll allow it! The cake smells divine. Cake Addict is spot on with their butter cream icing and fondant! It was tasty, and that's a true measure for me. The cake itself had a nice flavor, but wasn't as great as I'd hoped it would be. I am a cake connoisseur, and the funfetti batter (hubs said that's all they had available when he ordered) is quite crumbly. Like, really crumbly when cutting and we couldn't get a clean slice at all. But not a deal breaker, at this point I've had 2 slices and he has to take it to the office tomorrow and away from my grasp. Wonderful gesture from my wonderful man!

Delicious cake! I was looking for someone who could do a chocolate cake with almond buttercream icing and found A Cake Addict via Yelp reviews. Robert was easy to work with. The cake was delicious, huge and a great price!! Will definitely order from A Cake Addict again.

Have you ever ordered a cake from A Cake Addict?? If you haven't you, please invent an idea for a celebration and do so now! I cannot rave about the service I recieved from Robert at A Cake Addict enough. I was in a bind for a birthday cake and he exceeded all expectations. I ordered a cake for 20 people and sent him a picture of a bottle of Jagermeister and the cake turned out exactly like a bottle of Jager. Except we were able to eat the bottle. And the bottle we ate was delicious. Until it was gone... Best bottle of Jager I have eaten in my entire life. The inside of cake was chocolate and butter cream filling. It was spectacular, cake was moist and airy, cream was flavorful and there was a perfect quantity of both. A Cake Addict is in a quaint place in the Heights, easy to get to and a super quick transaction for pick up. Robert himself is a very personable guy and extremely hard worker. Came through in the clutch with an amazing, last-minute photo cake with an inside joke for two friends' birthday dinner. When he brought the cake to my car it look EXACTLY how I pictured it in my head, except better. He recommended the French vanilla, and it was fantastic and perfectly moist. What an AMAZING looking cake! Robert was spot on and made it exactly the way I wanted. Everyone at the party freaked out when they saw the cake! After all the reaction, I was sure it could not taste as good as it looked, boy was I wrong!! It tasted like HEAVEN!!! On top of that, Robert's customer service was TOP NOTCH! I was out of town and needed last minute baby-reveal cupcakes! They were so helpful, it was a flurry of messages and phone calls to set everything up of what I wanted. It was a small business, that smelled marvelous when we walked in to drop off the baby information, beautiful displays set up making me wish I had a reason to order more than just cupcakes! I highly recommend A Cake Addict! I wanted to congratulate my wife for doing well in college, so I got her a sciencey cake. I asked for DNA on top and a certain type of laboratory test result on the side. What a weird request, right? Well he did it amazingly anyway! It looks exactly like the image I gave him. And he did it SUPER fast too, because I wanted the excitement of her good grades to be fresh when we celebrated. He was super thorough in asking me what exactly I wanted the cake to look like, and he did a great job of using his own artistic judgement when I asked him to do so. Seriously, top notch work here. Great to work with. Icing is delicious. Quality cake for the price. We had outdoor wedding and went with whipped frosting so we had a bit of a melting problem, completely out fault for taking it out early. So if you go with whip (which is delicious btw) keep refrigerated until ready to serve if it's outdoors!! read more
