Amazing service and an even better cake! They came through for us with a last-minute custom order that turned out perfect and tasted incredible. Thank you so much!

The reviews are spot on! My friend recommended A Cake Addict to me. Like others I called 1 day before my birthday and he was very accommodating and provided a recommendation. I trusted his judgement not knowing what my cake would look like. Not only did it look amazing the taste is definitely one of the best cakes if not the best cake I ever had. 5 stars definitely recommend! Next time I'll give him more notice! Thank you for aiding in the success of my 35th bday.

Jana M.

Amazing! The cake was beautiful and delicious! Will definitely become a regular client!!!

Excellent customer service, quick and efficient but not lacking quality whatsoever. I needed cake for the same day so I called at 9:30 am on Saturday and I picked up my cake at 11 am same day. He went above and beyond to make it happen and I am so thankful! Definitely check him out. Price was reasonable and I can't stress enough how moist the cake was. The icing was perfect match with the cake.

My husband knows me and my sweet tooth! I was looking for a great local bakery for a SLICE of cake, discussed it with him and low and behold the next thing I know -- he's walking through the door with a giant custom made "just because I love you" cake for the two of us. Diet be damned! But, thank God he listens and cares. I'll allow it! The cake smells divine. Cake Addict is spot on with their butter cream icing and fondant! It was tasty, and that's a true measure for me. The cake itself had a nice flavor, but wasn't as great as I'd hoped it would be. I am a cake connoisseur, and the funfetti batter (hubs said that's all they had available when he ordered) is quite crumbly. Like, really crumbly when cutting and we couldn't get a clean slice at all. But not a deal breaker, at this point I've had 2 slices and he has to take it to the office tomorrow and away from my grasp. Wonderful gesture from my wonderful man!

Delicious cake! I was looking for someone who could do a chocolate cake with almond buttercream icing and found A Cake Addict via Yelp reviews. Robert was easy to work with. The cake was delicious, huge and a great price!! Will definitely order from A Cake Addict again.

I contacted Robert through text and he was very friendly and helpful. I sent a photo of a cake and he made it come to life! It was made to perfection and the cake itself was extremely moist and delicious! His cake flavor options are vanilla, chocolate, marble, carrot cake, lemon, strawberry, red velvet and Italian cream. I picked strawberry; SO GOOD!

Another home run from Robert. This coconut cake tastes every bit as delicious as looks!

The best cakes in town. Robert does a really amazing job. Cakes always look fantastic and taste super yummy. He has been doing all our event cakes for the past few years. I've never been disappointed. Thank you!

Robert's cakes are extraordinary. He made both our gender reveal cake and baby shower cake. Both were beautiful and delicious. We will be reaching out for cakes for future celebrations. He also provided great customer service!

This was a reenactment of our wedding 32 years ago. Cake addict had to duplicate the exact cake we had 31 years ago.

A L.

The taste of our cake was delicious. We are pleased how we celebrated our 32nd anniversary.

It was my first time ordering from Robert and I wasn't disappointed at all. The cake looked amazing and the taste was to die for. My daughter loved it! Thank you

Have you ever ordered a cake from A Cake Addict?? If you haven't you, please invent an idea for a celebration and do so now! I cannot rave about the service I recieved from Robert at A Cake Addict enough. I was in a bind for a birthday cake and he exceeded all expectations. I ordered a cake for 20 people and sent him a picture of a bottle of Jagermeister and the cake turned out exactly like a bottle of Jager. Except we were able to eat the bottle. And the bottle we ate was delicious. Until it was gone... Best bottle of Jager I have eaten in my entire life. The inside of cake was chocolate and butter cream filling. It was spectacular, cake was moist and airy, cream was flavorful and there was a perfect quantity of both. A Cake Addict is in a quaint place in the Heights, easy to get to and a super quick transaction for pick up. Robert himself is a very personable guy and extremely hard worker. Try to give him a two weeks notice when ordering a cake and bring cash!! Overall: 5 Venue: 4 Service: 5 Food: 5 Drinks: N/A Price: $$ read more

I was out of town and needed last minute baby-reveal cupcakes! They were so helpful, it was a flurry of messages and phone calls to set everything up of what I wanted. It was a small business, that smelled marvelous when we walked in to drop off the baby information, beautiful displays set up making me wish I had a reason to order more than just cupcakes! A simple design and flavor was verified and scheduled for pick up the following day, and they were so beautiful. I'd highly recommend, the were delicious, so lovely, prices were very reasonable for custom flavor and design, and like I said flexible in helping me with this last minute surprise! I highly recommend A Cake Addict! I wanted to congratulate my wife for doing well in college, so I got her a sciencey cake. I asked for DNA on top and a certain type of laboratory test result on the side. What a weird request, right? Well he did it amazingly anyway! It looks exactly like the image I gave him. And he did it SUPER fast too, because I wanted the excitement of her good grades to be fresh when we celebrated. He was super thorough in asking me what exactly I wanted the cake to look like, and he did a great job of using his own artistic judgement when I asked him to do so. Seriously, top notch work here. I would recommend this guy for your wedding or celebration or whatever. Oh, and the cake is delicious too! read more

A Cake Addict superseded my expectation for my parents' 50th Anniversary cake. First of all they graciously made it last minute, then when I expected a very simple low budget cake, I received a very beautiful traditional tiered cake. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was delicious too! A cake can truly make or break an event... This cake made it for sure! I am glad that I trusted the reviews for this place! I would most definitely use them again for all of my special occasions! read more

They made eye contact smiled,. and handled orders smoothly The bakery was tidy and had a sweet buttery aroma I ordered the cranberry loaf which was packed with flavor and moist inside. It was packed with care in a clean lined box Will definitely recommend this place read more

The cake was moist, the employee was friendly, and there was plenty of parking, so the overall experience was good. That said, after spending several months in Asia, where desserts tend to be much less sweet, this cake tasted extremely sweet to us. I actually had to eat it in four separate sittings because the sweetness was overwhelming. To be fair, even before this trip I always thought their cakes leaned on the sweeter side, but coming back really confirmed just how sweet they are for my taste. Of course, that's just my personal preference, and I think it would be even better if the cakes were slightly less sugary. Per the nutritional information, it has 35g of sugar per serving. So the individual bundtlet actually has 70g or sugar which is excessive. This is truly a once a year treat!
